When I tried to express my concerns, instead of fixing the issue, the nail tech actually threatened to call the police! She refused to remove the nails, saying it was a "service," and wouldn't even let anyone else in the shop help me. The whole situation was extremely ghetto and unprofessional. I'm not even a picky person -- I was respectful the entire time -- but to be treated like this is just crazy. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

My nails are what I wanted, thin, even, and nicely shaped. The guy didn't rush and he really did do a good job but I was cut with the drill a few times, so I never really took pictures of them because my cuticles seemed so damaged. Also- I prefer less drill - I had a dip so I'm not sure why there was drilling of my own nail bed. If I return I'll ask for no drill to be used on my own nail.

What made the situation worse was how my concerns were handled by the front desk receptionist. I was interrupted multiple times, spoken over, and told the miscommunication was my responsibility, despite never being notified of any changes. The interaction felt dismissive, argumentative, and lacking empathy or professionalism. I came in expecting a relaxing Mother's Day treat for myself and instead left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. At no point during that phone call was I told that I would instead be scheduled with a different technician. If that had been clearly communicated, this confusion could have easily been avoided. When I arrived that morning, the receptionist was not yet at the front desk or inside the building. I was also not the only customer who checked in before the receptionist arrived. Ana was outside, greeted me herself, and began my pedicure. Ana herself would not have known who she was scheduled to see until clients were checked in, so it is unfair to place the responsibility entirely on me for the confusion. What made the experience disappointing was not simply the scheduling mix-up, but how the situation was handled afterward. During the conversation, the receptionist acknowledged that I had not been clearly informed over the phone that I would have a different technician, yet the responsibility continued to be placed on me for "not clarifying." I was repeatedly interrupted, argued with, and at no point was I genuinely apologized to. Overall, I will not be returning. I was sold a "crystal hair remover" for $15 that is clearly drop shipped from alibaba or a similar site. It made my skin bleed when used at home as they gave no instructions on how to use. They were VERY forceful about selling it and would not take a simple no. I got a gel mani and pedi. I looked at their website and am unable to determine what I even got because none of them match my experience. The recharge combo is the closest one ($99 plus $30 for my french tips) but I did not receive "collagen gloves" or "collagen-infused socks" as advertised. Finally, the tech cured gel polish on my skin. I told her it was there and she continued to do so, which creates a risk for gel allergy to develop. Plus the polish is chipping 3 days later. I have no problem paying premium prices (I regularly pay over $150+ at nail salons) but I expect things like 1) no upselling & alibaba products, 2) transparent pricing, and 3) good workmanship that lasts longer than 3 days.
