I love the manager Nina, their nail color selection is amazing, the decor is perf, pedicures are great and again I love Nina and the time and effort she takes to do nails, her personality and her energy! BUT their is no consistency with the other manicure techs. This is specifically for those who do acrylic and dip. If Nina isn't the one to do them personally, they come out with some type of issue. Either the shape is off, it's lumpy, crooked, color is done poorly. Knocking off a star for this. My pedicures always look great again this is for dip and acrylic manicures. Consistency is so important. I think if everyone who did dip and acrylics were either trained like Nina, or just took her advise and followed how she did things. My girlfriend came here to get her nails done last week and one of the nails already broke (if this tells you anything about the quality). She paid $90 for these nails. We came back today to get the one fixed and was denied service. The store opened at 11am today and we arrived a half hour after opening- there were about 2 customers in the building and about 5 workers yet they said they had no time all day to fix ONE NAIL that she spent $90 on. They didn't offer any time to come back later in the week when she asked- just simply said no. the lack customer service is quite apparent. I got my nails done on 2/19. I did dip on my nails and regular polish pedicure on my toes. My toes chipped in a week and my nails did too. I had gone here before and it wasn't an issue. I called today around 1pm and they said come between 5 and 5:30pm to get them repaired. I said okay. I get in at 5:05pm today. The girl says we are closed. I'm like well I had an appointment to get my nails fixed? She said all the techs left early and I'm like okay why? And no one wanted to call and tell me? She's like you can come tomorrow (2/27). I said okay and at what time? She said whatever you'd like. I told her I'd like to come in when people would be in... she told me 12:30pm. I said fine and left. Why on earth would all your techs leave early and you not be professional enough to call anyone and tell them?! Literally the worst customer service and by the way my nails broke in less than a week, a lack in skilled nail techs. I wouldn't go here again or recommend it. read more

Be careful if you request SNS Dip make sure they only use dip products! They tried putting clear gel top coat and not only did it change the color but it began to peel a week later. You can see the color difference and peeling. When I went back to get one nail fixed less than a week later they didn't use the gel and when I told them the color was different they said it was not. First, I am not the person to write a bad review - especially now. However, paying $67 ($10 tip) for a full set of acrylics that lasted THREE days is crazy. The red flag should have been when two other girls also walked in to get their nails fixed as well (see the texts attached below from the salon) it was not just the chrome polish that needed to be fixed for theirs - as I was asked to wait 10 minutes for the girl who was doing mine to fix theirs - as the woman who had to finish my nails by painting them was more than capable of painting the other girls as well - never got an explanation for that either. The nails looked great leaving - however, within a day an entire nail - not just a chip fell off - like they were stick-on nails. I didn't want to be "that girl" however, within three days THREE acrylic nails fell off - usually (I live out of town) my nails last three weeks before I even need a fill. At this point, it's Friday and all the nails have now FALLEN off - I work from home, I don't do any sort of extraneous activity - they just purely fell off. I called the salon and not only were they rude (never called back like I was told I would be), the woman asked if I was calling the correct place - after explaining exactly where I was sitting - as well as the two girls who came in to get their nails fixed, I was asked to send a photo - which I actually sent a video - I was then told there was no refund, because "usually they have clients come in to get them fixed" (see text photos below) - perhaps they should have been done correctly the first time? After sending the video - I was then ignored after only asking for 1/2 the cost back - for me, it's not the money it's the principal. At this point, it's Friday the 22rd, I had my nails done last Saturday afternoon at 3pm the 16th - and ALL of my acrylics are currently off. The refund or solution? $20? Which, they requested my Zelle information and I haven't received anything from Grand Nails. Not even an apology for the terrible job they did. The women were nice, but the nails are incredibly terrible and I would never spend another dollar there - nor should anyone - an absolute waste at this salon. Please see the texts and photos below - I do NOT recommend this place at all, coming from someone who has had her nails done for years - I clearly picked the wrong place, but the more popular places were full. I should have just bought stick ons- perhaps they would have lasted longer. Had an appointment with Phong, but was told to sit down with some other person. She was very unorganized and looked here and there for minutes for who knows what? She even left the chair while doing my nails a couple times and went into another room. She was so fidgety that it made me very uncomfortable. My nails are horrible! I come here often. I've brought business. I'm a good tipper. Got a pedicure Thursday. Polish chipped on my big toe Monday. I came Wednesday to get 1 toe fixed they told me they couldn't help me for a few hours. I can't wait a few hours or come back & am without childcare for a week before I leave town for vacation. I took the polish off & painted my own toe with the matching polish. I would've thought for a regular customer they'd be able to take 1 minute to paint 1 toe. Came to check this salon out for the first time. Overall layout of the shop is nice clean and organized. Receptionist is nice and friendly. I got sat immediately. I was driving in the area for a work errand so I decided to TRY it out. I had a full set acrylic with gels on and Nina was the one who did my nails, she preferred we do a dip even though I needed an acrylic fill. I don't know if this is to rush her time or she just didn't wanna sculpt me a new set since my regrowth is bad. Not even 24 hours and my gel polish has chipped and I noticed she over-filed the tip on the nails so the color peeled off eventually. I understand they wanna take walk in clients while I was still in the chair. I didn't notice the damage until I opened my car door. Why did I get charged $50 for a botched JOB? See picture below. I was looking for a new nail salon and it looks like I'm going to have to keep looking lol. I ask for thin almond with chrome and after an extra 20 mins of asking her to fix my cuticles, shape and thickness and they STILL came out like this. I honestly felt bad because I felt like I was asking a lot but if I'm paying $55 then I'm gonna make sure I get what I want (still didn't but I couldn't sit there anymore). Nice, new nail salon on Lincoln and Scottsdale Rd right next to Drybar. I discovered it a few weeks ago - opening day - and had been so disappointed by other salons lately that I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did. Walked in with my girlfriend and were seated right away. It was a nice double date coming from San Diego for the holiday due to CA being closed down. Their Instruments and basins were all sterile and the basin lined with a water. Techs wore gloves and masks. 10/10 experience and now I see why women do this so after. Well, this use to be my regular spot. As they are now very busy even with an apt depending on who you get they may not cut cuticles or pay attention to cutting your nails square. My first review of this salon was a 5-star, until last week when the new ownership took over! Horrific. After buying the new salon, they fired the best nail tech there (who helped do everything to get this brand new salon up and running) in an unprofessional and rude way! One of the new owners or a relative of the new owners is an old guy and puts off SUCH a creepy and inappropriate vibe. He stared at me the entire time I was in there last week, just sitting in one of the pedicure seats, while my tech did my toes. She noticed it and grabbed a towel from the back to put over my legs (I was wearing running shorts and a t-shirt...not even anything provocative!), and after she did, he walked out the front door and smoked a cigarette right in front of the building. I also noticed when choosing my pedi that they marked the prices up, AND took services OUT of certain pedi packages. For example, one of them had a "15 minute hot stone massage" included, along with "callous removal" and both of those were crossed out in a black sharpie. So, you take out two of the best parts of that particular pedicure package, AND raise the price?! Shady business practice. The other thing that happened last time I was there was they were doing their "closing" duties before the shop even closed! Now the mopping I can understand because it needs done... but it's a liability for their business to do it while clients are still inside, not to mention unprofessional. What really irritated me was the fact that the lady came up to me in the middle of my pedicure and asked for my debit card to pay for my services because she "wanted to batch out the credit card machine" sooner. Note: they still weren't closed yet! I absolutely HATE when people rush you through getting spa procedures, or ANYTHING that is supposed to be relaxing for that matter, so they can get off work earlier. I won't be going back there, you couldn't pay me to go back there after last weeks nightmare along with the fact that my nail tech and the ONLY person I have trusted with my nails since moving here three years ago, is no longer there.
