For my sensitive folks: I have thin and weak nail beds, which plus weak skin around my nails that rip and bleed easy. I like to get Gel-x because it gives me the length I could never get on my own, but I'm always nervous because of my sensitivity. Let me tell you, this was a superb experience. Service: She did a thorough exam of my nails and asked questions before starting, she checked with me all along the way. Jenny was attentive to my flinches if something got too warm or felt too close to my skin. One of the gentlest but most attentive manicures of my life. She was patient with my color indecisiveness and got the shape exactly to what i wanted (an in between of stiletto and almond) My nails feel so sturdy and look gorgeous. Ignore my weird hand posing. Look how clean those edges are! How smooth the paint job is! Ambiance: What a relaxing experience. Beautiful interior, smells wonderful, perfect temperature of coolness but not freezing for the always cold girlies. Water and snacks available while you wait. Phenomenal color selection. The chair at the manicure stations are slightly snug as a 3X woman but nothing too uncomfortable. Overall great experience; a replacement set with design was a 2.5 hours. Amazing celebration manicure and pedicure today at Nail Couture. Diana did my nails. She did soft gel overlay then sparkly blue cat eye polish with silver stars. It came out dazzling and beyond my dreams. I was so impressed with her level of detail. Every edge and angle of my nails is perfect. My cuticles perfect. The shape exactly what I asked for. The designs perfection. She made me feel like a celebrity. I can't say enough about the perfection. Megan did my pedicure. My feet were a mess I went for the ultra luxe pedicure. This was a next level pedicure. It could make you a new person. Megan made me feel so comfortable. She went to town with the callus remover just like I asked. I was really impressed. I felt a little bad about the sludge coming off my feet. She was not bothered. I almost fell asleep. I asked if she would dig out my ingrown toenail and she went to town. She was so comforting I just let her dig in deep. The deep cleaning was relaxing in the most impressive way. My toe feels so much better. The leg and foot massage were outstanding. The best massage I have ever had in a nail place. She expertly used hot stones noting it helps blood vessels - very intuitive I have blood vessel problems. The polish was meticulous and I love that she believed me when I asked to cut them as short as possible. They do not do paraffin so Jason recommended I tried the collagen treatment. This was amazing. First they steam your feet with a facial steamer. Then I remember some exfoliating scrub and fresh oranges - wow. It felt so amazing. I was purring like a kitten. There was a moisturizing mask for the legs lotions oils massages. I almost melted into the chair. Overall I am just impressed. I have tried many nail spas over the years and it is hard to find talent and customer service like this. I especially loved the teamwork between Jason Diana and Megan. Megan also has a great sense of humor. We shared a few laughs together. This was the best way to spend my first day off work since Thanksgiving. Thank you team at Nail Couture. First time here. Very mixed feelings. Had a removal + redo mani. Opted for builder gel and before painting I checked my nail, she filed too much into one of my nails and left a gap- she filed more and slapped another layer of builder so I can't help but wonder if that particular nail will lift faster. Some of the nail shapes were crooked which I voiced from the beginning (at least 3 x) and they kept reassuring me they would fix it and it would be fine.. well it's not. But after so much back n forth you just want your nails done and to be gone. Their approach in cuticle prep was different. Wanting to cut my skin after polish which I don't like if I like because that also means there could potentially be a gap from polish to nail. They did end up cutting before polish but I have a lot of extra frays leftover. There is also excess clear on most of my fingers. The whole process exceeded 1.5 hours. I didn't want to rush the process but also I wasn't expecting to spend that much time there so I was behind to another appointment. I know I sound like I'm knit picking however when you pay for a service, you expect for that service and for it to be precise and well executed. I've lived in the area since 2017 and have tried pretty much every nail salon in Rancho, LA, Tustin, and now here. I currently have a great tech in Tustin that I love, but since she's out of the country for a month I needed a local option for a funeral and a family event, so I came here. I had been here once before the ownership change (not a great experience) and once more just for a quick nail fix before a trip, so I figured I'd give it another try for a full set. I called ahead to confirm pricing and was told $65 for Gel-X and $5 for removal. I also asked if it was cheaper to pay cash, and the explanation I got about "$1.40 rewards" was confusing but nothing was said about a card fee -- so I booked the appointment. When I arrived, the salon was completely empty. It was clean and quiet, which I liked. The technician actually did a great job with removal, shaping, cuticle prep, and application of the Gel-X tips. They use Aprés Gel-X tips, but they're the sculpted style, which I personally don't love because they make the nails look more bulky and rounded. Where things went downhill was the polish. The gel color was extremely streaky and required four coats to look even. By the time it was done, my nails looked thick and puffy, which I really don't like. I also didn't recognize any of the polish brands -- no DND, OPI, CND, or Essie -- which was surprising. Then came checkout. I was told the total was $71.40 because I used a card. When I reminded them I was quoted $70, I was told that the $1.40 would have gone toward "rewards" if I paid cash. If I had known there was a card fee, I would've gone to the bank before coming -- that's literally why I asked about cash pricing on the phone. The service itself was fine, but the pricing communication and the final result were disappointing. My nails don't look how I like them, and the checkout experience left a bad taste. I'll stick with my regular place and only come here again if I'm in a pinch. read more

It was down the street and it had a bunch of great photos and fantastic reviews so I decided to give it a try. I called and asked for an appointment that weekend and Kitty was more than happy to assist.
