I went to Babylon for a gel mani pedi With dip. Their work is very good the salon is clean however the wait is ridiculous. Staff is scattered thin and clearly they are understaffed. However, I was told book an appt. And this way you won't wait. Wow today was a 20 minute wait with an appt and I sat in the chair ignored not even with feet soaking. Meanwhile 0 urgency. I waited for 20 minutes and said enough I will go elsewhere. I walked out and said nothing just shook my head not worth it to me. Why bother making an appt.? I should bill them for my time sitting in the chair. Ridiculous wait time for nails with an appt. Too many other salons to choose from! read more

I believe they talk about their customers in a negative manner. If you pay extra for a massage, on your feet, you will be very disappointed. The vibe of the salon is depressing, they played the same song over and over. The television was on with no volume, and the program was from another country. The owner multi tasked by answering the phone and texting during my appointment. They are slow and unfriendly. They are located in the Sprouts shopping center. I have been coming to Babylon Nails & Spa for the past year and absolutely LOVE it. The techs always make me feel welcome and ask me how I like my nails. I regularly see Sandy and she is super nice and professional. If anything happens to my nails or need something fixed, I can always go back to have it fixed no problem. I rock climb and play sports frequently so I was worried my nails wouldn't last long, however they easily last 2-3 weeks without chipping/scratching. The quality is perfect! The techs also take their time with your designs, making sure it comes out beautiful. The wait times vary throughout the day, however they do a good job about estimated wait times. My appointments have always been either on time or no more than a 5 minute wait while they finish someone up. My sisters, mom, and I love Babylon Nails & Spa and we will for sure keep coming! read more

Welp, it started off too good, as there was no wait. Should've took that as an indication to look elsewhere for services. The venue has nice decor, was provided with water, and appeared clean. Communication is poor. Requested a basic mani/ped with callus remover, they attempted to upsale, when refused the tides turned. The service became dreadfully bland. There was little to no effort. Not really a fan. Went for a gel mani/pedi and they used a metal drill bit on my natural nails. I stopped after the first nail and asked for a sandpaper but to be used but unfortunately it didn't work out for them that way. I asked for them to just stop the manicure and they said no, they'd soak them off. They left acetone on for 2 minutes and went right back to the metal bit. I asked a second time to stop & they do is he's the gel removal. And made my healthy square shaped nails brittle and round. My toes are good, I appreciate the polish but because they were irritated with me asking for them to do my hands correctly they missed a few steps in my pedicure. So I paid for services with an expectation that they did not live up to, highly disappointed and won't be recommending this nail salon to any of my friends. Not even my enemies read more

You could improve the receptionist attitude. I called yesterday & made an appointment for my mom for today at 1. My mom went in & they told her there was no appointment made. I called & explained that there indeed was an appointment made, all the receptionist said was "so what do you want ?!" in a very rude tone. If you don't want to work then quit. They were pretty good at first but just like all the reviews above they could care less about quality work and actual service. They just go through the motions and do a terrible job. Even with an appointment they start late and don't care how long it takes. The worse part is I left and they did a terrible job. I came here to get my nails done for my wedding (we had an appointment and we didn't have to wait). I was so happy with the end result (I opted for ombre acrylic with almond shape, picture below). I received so many compliments from my wedding guests about my nails looking amazing. They did such a great job making the nails look fancy but natural. I also got gel on my toes, and it looks perfect still after a week in Hawaii (definitely had my toes buried in sand). Highly recommend! read more

I was in the area today 10/7/23 & my daughter told me to check this place out. I went in cute & quiet the lady that sits to the left in the very first stall did my pedicure that's all I ever get. She right away started on my ingrowns I didn't even have to ask her too. She asked me if ok I said YES!!! This was by far the best pedicure I have had in 20 years! Sad to have to update this. Was a faithful customer to this nail salon. I even brought my two daughters here to get manicure and pedicures sometimes. The last time I was here, I spent $170 on a gel manicure and pedicure (this is including tip) this last time around. I got back to get my nails done again, and the manicure I got just wasn't done right. The gel polish was peeling back, my nails were uneven, they were thick and not shaped the same. It's fine. I have literally never gone back to a nail salon to complain about any service, but I couldn't keep my nails like this. I was just hoping they could fix my nails and I was willing to pay for it. I went in this morning. Lily helped me out. You can tell the whole staff was mad at me. Lily told me the color that I chose is the reason why my nails were lifting and to choose a different type of gel color. She was grabbing my hands kind of aggressively, then pushing them back as she was doing my nails. On my pinky nail where the polish was lifting, she literally ripped my natural nail in half from trying to peel the gel color off with her own nails!!!! I asked her if she broke my mail and she said "no don't touch it I'll fix it for you". She superglued it together...... And then when she was done, she just stood up and went to another chair to do another clients nails. I asked her how much for the fixes, even if it's just the color change. Her reply was "no. No. No charge." Without even looking at me. No one apologized.... Every one ignored me as I was leaving... I have spent sooooooo much damn money at this place, just to be disappointed in their service today.. they made me feel criminal and as if I was asking too much, it was almost embarrassing walking out.. Rude staff. They do not care for your business. No wonder the place was empty. The first time I was assisted by a manicurists who didn't care to specify her name; Lilly or Lilith?? The second time I came in i was helped by another manicurist and I heard the same manicurist I had before tell a customer her name was Sandy. I asked for her name to be sure I'm correct and she replied rudely, "What Do You Want" And still didn't care to tell me her name. (Maybe she's gotten in trouble numerous times). Anyway, I told "Sandy", at the time, the manicurist didn't understand me and if she could clarify. The fact she didn't want to give me her name was disrespectful and how she responded ruined my experience. There are plenty of other manicurist that would be grateful to have customers who like to tip for a well enough experience and keep them happy to come back. just went in for a white tip acrylic nail set, I forgot who I had but she was rushing the whole time. She asked me what pink I wanted & proceeded to tell me they don't have two of the colors I wanted...wish she would've told me that before starting the white tip, I ended up having to do nude with the white tip which is not what I wanted. She also cut mine too short, I know that's partially my fault but she didn't show me the length until after cutting 5 fingers & then gave me a dirty look when I said too short. I ended up saying never mind & proceeded because she made me feel uncomfortable. She also didn't cover my whole nail so the sides of my nails are showing, along with the white lines not being straight & covering the ends of my nail. the ambience is nice & maybe if you get a different person the experience would be better but I probably won't come back here again. read more

Honestly, until today I was content with Babylon nails (even if their pricing was very high). But last night we called and asked is they had time to do a fill and a pedicure (it was 6:16pm). We were told sure, come in at 6:35pm, so we showed up around 6:30pm and they said you'll have to come back in a few days. What?!?! We just called for an appointment. Well needles to say, they took two walk ins right before we showed up even though we made an appointment. We spend (between the 2-3 of us) each visit around $200 plus for our fills, pedicures, and dip manicures. I guess they really don't appreciate their clients or they don't have a basic understanding for scheduling and how appointments work. Now that I think about it, I'm glad this happened because if not, I would be continuing to pay an absurd price for my pedicures. I've never had a nail salon charge $10 to remove gel polish so what ends up happening is your pedicure ends up being close to $50 ($10 to remove gel + $10 to add gel). I understand business concept and overhead but I really feel the little up-charge fees are not necessary. In short, save yourself the time & money and find a nail salon that has reasonable prices and knows how to schedule their clients. I don't know about you, but my time is very important and valuable. read more

I must say I am pleased with the way my dip powder manicure came out just not too impressed with the pedicure service. I feel the pedicure service at red Persimmom is better. Better massage and scrub. I believe the price is slightly cheaper at Babylon. So in summary. I can honestly say I am pleased with the way my manicure and pedicure came out but feel the massage is better at red Persimmom. Will I return to Babylon? Probably.
