I recently visited this nail salon for the first time. It was very comfortable, and the staff were all so friendly. The person who did my nail art was Lina--she did a wonderful job and was very creative. I was impressed with her work; whatever design you choose, she can execute beautifully. The only surprise was the price. I thought it wouldn't exceed $100 because that was what was listed and what I was told. However, when I paid at the cashier, the total came to almost $140, which surprised me. I also gave Lina a tip of $15 from the bottom of my heart for her excellent work. Overall I'm satisfied with the service and the venue, and I don't have any issues recommending this salon--just be sure to confirm the price with the front desk or cashier beforehand to avoid any surprises. read more

Great experience!!... we are from Palm Springs area and we found this amazing place. The wife got a builder gel mani and love it. Sherlie was amazing according to her she was very professional, she is been doing nails for 45 years, she was very pleased with her and her knowledge. I had the best pedi a guy can get. I called in earlier for a same day appointment asking if they had availability for a 5 PM Pedicure and Eyebrow Wax. The person that answered the phone said there was availability and scheduled me. Upon walking in, you have to check in on a tablet. I arrived about 5 minutes prior to check in. There was nobody at reception to greet you. It took them about 15 minutes for me to get seated. It took about 22 minutes in total to have the next nail tech to finally get to me. They offer a complimentary drink included in the service. The ambiance of the workers felt a bit chaotic, confused, and stressed. When I come to get my nails done, I go to feel relaxed and at ease. There was also a big language barrier with me and Louie. My pedicure finally started at around 5:30 PM. It also felt uncomfortable that they were talking about me in a different language because I felt judged and saw the nail tech point at me while talking. This salon is overhyped with ads on Instagram and TikTok. I also felt like the spaces between the chairs are so tight that the workers kept accidentally knocking things over. It's like they are trying to work so fast that they become clumsy and things fall over or something happens on accident. The callus remover on my left foot was on a significantly shorter period of time than my right foot. The massage part was good and then got a bit strange because at one point Louie stated picking at my scab like he spaced out for a bit while going through the motions. The nail service was good and my cuticles were cleaned well other than the things I mentioned. I got an eyebrow wax as well from Kim. She was really rough with her with pushing and pulling my head to reposition. There was one point where her thumb was sort of digging in my eye. My left eyebrow looks clearly thinner than my right eyebrow. I really wanted to support this place, but the ads won me over. I don't think I will come back. I really wanted to like this place, but I can't when something that is supposed to be relaxing made me feel uncomfortable. read more

Talk with your clients not at them or about them when then are right there. Is the 5, 10 dollars extra worth it to lose a client when you are already charging 85 for hard gel? Does the space look clean? Did you take the time to wipe down or sweep up? Or are you rushing clients in and out? Is the atmosphere inviting? I trusted this nail salon before but after my last experience, I don't think I'll be returning. I asked for a cat eye design, which is an extra cost on top of the polish itself which already comes with a fee. The design involves using a small magnet to move the metallic particles in the polish to create light reflecting lines. The polish itself is just a regular sparkly color without dimension if you do not use a magnet on it. Despite it being a design option, my nail tech was not able to properly create the effect. You can see in my photos that it just looks like a regular sparkly color. There's a littleeee bit of dimension in some parts but it's inconsistent and definitely not what you would expect for a cat eye. On top of that, my nail tech cut too deep into my cuticles and I left with two bleeding fingers. The skin around my nails peeled over the next week (pictured) and that's never happened in the 10+ years I've been getting gel on my nails. I left very disappointed. read more

Although I love coming to this place to get a pedi done, today's visit was very uncomfortable. I asked for a striped design and mind you I know it was a bit much and I asked if they can do it, they said they could. They then went to go complain to multiple coworkers that I was being "too much". I settled for a much simple striped design and they started to talk among themselves saying I was being "difficult" and "complicated". My only go-to nail salon. So far my favorite techs have been Leo, Rosé, and Tiffany. All of them are very precise and the results haven't disappointed. Glow Bakery and Nails is such a treat. I came in early December and loved everything about this place. I meant to post sooner but had an accident and a concussion, and this visit still stood out. Tiffany did my nails and she nailed it. I came in with an Instagram post and video of what I wanted, and she brought it to life perfectly. She's a true artist and even asked if I wanted Gel X or acrylic since she does both. I chose acrylic and they turned out flawless. The pedicure was just as great, and the salon itself is super cute and fully decorated for the holidays. They even had holiday curated pedicures and complimentary drinks. I had a champagne and it was delicious. Also, the tray they place across the pedicure chair so you can get your nails done at the same time is genius and so comfortable. I'd never seen that before.
