Went to Cleveland for a concert and Nada was close to the venue, so we had dinner there beforehand. Let me start by saying this place is a little pricey, but deservedly so. The food was great and the margarita was exceptional. However, I would say this is a place you go to share apps with friends. The portions were quite small, not a place you could get full at. We ordered the chicken tacos, which the waiter described as spicy, but I didn't think so. They were awesome! We also ordered guacamole, which was good, but lacked some flavor. The best part of the meal though was the Queso! It came out with the toppings in their own bowl and a pitcher of cheese that the waiter poured over top and we got to mix ourselves. When we got the food it was room temperature so I think the hostess was not communicating with the kitchen and did not go back and get the food when it was ready. Aside from the annoyance waiting for the food, our meals were delicious. No pictures because we were starving after a busy day, but I highly recommend the shrimp tacos and the cilantro rice. Got chile mango margs to go and the flavor was not for me, but the others with me liked it. It's nouveau Mexican with an Asian flare. Lots of original taco choices. On this particular night, the food was just okay. Many things were missed. My husband ordered the Mac and cheese chef style but the creeper sauce never came. My daughter had the pork belly tacos but one of the was missing toppings. Went to Nada for the first time in years to celebrate a bday this past Saturday. We started off with freshly made chips and loaded queso which were delicious. They even pour the queso in a bowl right at the table. For our entree we split three tacos : mushroom, baja fish, and pastor. I had high expectations for the tacos. Ultimately I thought they were good, but not great. They were all a bit dry and would've been better with some additional salsa. I liked the mushroom the best. The fish taco had potential but the fish was too dry. Our waitress was very sweet and brought out complimentary churros for dessert. These were the BEST churros I have ever had. They were light and came with delicious carmel and chocolate dipping sauces. After figuring that out I decided to try out the chicken enchiladas in hopes that my extra $2 would yield more food and at least get me full.... it worked! Stopped in for lunch today on my break. Was very impressed. Sat at the bar and was immediately greeted and given water and a menu. The bartender, TJ, definitely went above and beyond just in the 45 minutes I was there. He even packaged up my soup and gave me some extra chips and salsa to take home. It's the little things! I had the tortilla soup and tried their two least mild salsas with chips. The soup was seriously perfect and a good size for the $8. At first I thought it was $8 for a cup. Lol. I loved the salsas and TJ described them perfectly to me before I had ordered. Their chips are perfectly crisp and hearty, glad I got the single size! I am excited to try more off the menu. We read an article about this place, so decided to give it a try. We love it so much! The decoration is fancy, and I love those figure models in the men's room (i don't know what kind of decoration in the women's room so you'd better go find out yourself lol). The service was great, our waiter was very professional, very nice, and gave us a lot of recommendations. Parking was easy too, we paid $3 for two hour parking. A group of us stumbled our way into Nada after attending the summer Beer Fest. I've never heard of it so I wasn't sure what to expect. We were told they've had a lot of the Beer Fest goers come in and we seemed like the most sober ones. Little did they know... We ordered and things were a bit slow to arrive. Only until after we received our appetizers and our food did it click that everything is made fresh and on the spot. The wait instantly became worth it. The chips were crispy and good by themselves and even better with the 3 salsa's that we ordered with it. One was the fire-roasted tomato ancho salsa, tomatillo verde cruda salsa, and the slightly more spicier one was the habanero salsa I believe. I don't even like spicy ifoods, but these were very tolerable and had really good taste to them! We also ordered the Queso "Fully Loaded", which came with more crispy chips and more salsas! We got really creative and started dipping our chips into the queso and then into the different salsa's to find out the best combinations. It's queso and habanero, in case you were wondering. We had plenty to munch on while we waited for a bit for our freshly-made dinners. My Ancho-Rubbed Mahi finally arrived. It came with sweet corn and fregula mixed together. The mahi was really tender and tasted delicious. This entre was $21 which is a good price and worth paying for mahi that was this succulent in Columbus. Side note, I didn't order this but one of my friends ordered the Carne Asada Steak Fajitas, which seriously came out in two plates. We were super jealous, and he couldn't even finish it all. I recently visited this particular location for lunch and I was really caught off guard by how enjoyable it was. The host Ty was super friendly and while my group didn't have reservations, we were able to get a nice table during their busy lunch hour. I was first to arrive and I really liked the décor and overall vibe of the place. They have a good-sized bar, a huge dining room, and even an outdoor patio. I always love a good variety of seating to choose from. Once everyone arrived, our table started off with some chips and a trio of salsas. I loved the green salsa the most. It was light, a little spicy, and super refreshing. I'm a huge fan of cilantro and if you are too, this one will be your go-to. For my meal, I ordered their Taco Lunchbox, which comes with two tacos, a side, and a little doughnut. I went with the grilled salmon option. It included a jalapeno corn pico and fresh cilantro. Oh, my goodness they were delicious! I also got the chili-glazed crispy potatoes and I gotta say... I was a little weary. Anything described as crispy but with a sauce on it makes me question the whether or not I'll like the texture. However, I must say, they executed this well. They had a lot of flavor and the crema and scallion dolloped on top was a nice touch. I could have eaten an entire meal of just these potatoes. It has a pretty good menu with a few vegetarian choices. They get really busy in the evenings because everything happens around that place. I like the bar the best. It has some good cocktails. The happy hour is from 3 to 7. Caipirinha is made with agave nectar, Cachaca 51, and limes. The Mexican Mule is like the Moscow Mule, but with tequila. It also has good margaritas. Some are the Chile Mango, Prickly Pear, and Sangria. The food is as good but too fucking expensive. It has some great sides like black beans and rice, and the farro and sweet potatoes with kale, pepitas, and sherry viniagrette. The tacos are tiny and they cost $9 for two of them and a side. For this visit I had the avocado tacos, which tasted good, but they were not worth the price. This place is supposed to be upscale so it's no surprise. It would be nice if they had some more cheaper items. There is sorbet for dessert which is a good way to end the meal. I would come back for some cocktails at happy hour and some cheaper things like chips and salsa. The other items there are too expensive that I would be a regular. Upon entering, I really liked the decor and vibe of the restaurant. Nada is located in the lively arena district and we stopped here before heading to a clippers game. I got the Hongos tacos, which come with balsamic glazed mushrooms, pico de gallo, rice, black beans, and guacamole. They were good, but my one complaint was that the mushrooms were cut very thick. Some may like it that way, but I prefer mushrooms to be cut thinner. I ended up taking off the mushrooms on mine and enjoyed it with the remaining toppings. The other people in my party got the chili Rellenos and the enchiladas. They enjoyed it and were stuffed. On the other hand, the tacos alone were pretty small and not enough to fill me up. And now my full review: This is a cool new spot in the Arena District. I came here for lunch today not having a clue what this place was about other than it's "Mexican". I like it. It's cool looking with a very contemporary feel to it. It's trendy but not over the top. The food was very good. They have a moderate sized lunch menu with plenty of variety for most any taste. I opted for the Baja Fish Taco entree which gets you two tacos. I also got a side of Black Bean Puree. The tacos were really good with crispy breaded fish, lime cabbage, guac and cilantro and I'd certainly get them again. I have to give special kudos for the side dish I ordered. The side dish, you ask? Yeah, the side called Black Bean Puree. I really, really enjoyed this dish which is a blend of black beans, tomatoes, onions and rice topped with Queso Oaxaca. It was good, so good in fact that I'd go back for a big bowl of that alone. The only thing food wise that I'm not crazy about is that they don't give you free chips and salsa like every other Mexican restaurant in the universe. They have them but they charge for them. Their Nadarita is their version of a margarita and it was also pretty good. Think standard margarita with a slight fruity taste to it as opposed to tart. The service was also impressive. Yummo!!! Tacos are in my top five favorite foods, and Nada delivered!! Everything was simply incredible. Make sure you order the fully loaded queso. Holy moly! I am officially of the opinion that all queso should be made with smoked Gouda. It was so delicious. I didn't even get a picture of it because we dove in too fast! My pork tacos were amazing - crispy pork, spicy salsa and a little sweetness from the pickled onions. And the steak fajitas were just a showstopper. So freaking good. I had dinner at Nada on Saturday night and it was pretty much life-changing. Let me set the stage for you. Two moms and two four year olds headed downtown in the cold and walked to restaurant after restaurant on Saturday night, eager for dinner before Disney on Ice at Nationwide. The streets were slushy. The princesses' dresses were long and trailing and getting messy. The princesses were hungry. All the restaurants were packed to the gills with a 45 minute wait for tables. We didn't have 45 minutes. Things were looking bleak. I knew Nada was upscale and fabulous - it was definitely on my wish list for the next kid-free date night - but we were desperate, so we headed over with princesses in tow. Not only did they seat us after only five minutes or so, the food was pure perfection AND kid-friendly! Our server immediately brought water in kid-cups (lids and straws). The chips and salsa ($2 but well worth it) were plentiful and tasty. No kids menu in sight, but our server was well versed in kid-friendly options and eager to please. My daughter devoured her plain cheese quesadilla and our friend liked her fancy mac n cheese. As we marveled over our delicious, flavorful tacos (I got the pork belly, she the vegetarian option), we two moms high-fived in glee knowing we had gotten the ultimate gift - a truly fantastic, stand-out, gourmet meal that pleased the adults as much as the kids. This does not happen often, people. It's like a gift from the culinary gods. Thank you, Nada, for coming to Columbus to bless us with your greatness! What a treat to have our Disney on Ice night crowned with spectacular Mexican fare instead of the usual kid stuff. Oh, and Nada's decor is ridiculously amazing - the ladies room is so gorgeous we literally had a princess photo shoot in there. Who designed this place? I am in love. No, Nada isn't cheap, but the quality is absolutely superb. And besides, knowing we were heading straight into the Arena where we would soon be charged $12 for Disney-fied cotton candy, Nada seemed downright reasonable. Nada is a new addition to the Arena district restaurant scene. It a modern, dare I say "upscale" Mexican restaurant that's been successful in Cincinnati for quite a while now. My first impression after walking into the restaurant was "wow." The interior is modern and luxurious with an abundance of warm lighting and wooden trim. The atmosphere is both classy and cozy. The bar area is particularly impressive with illuminated liquor bottle cabinets and hexagonal mosaic tile backsplash. Fist bump to the interior design team. The food was good. We sampled a variety of appetizers and I pretty much enjoyed everything. The guacamole was fresh and the queso was tasty. However my favorite appetizer was the habañero "kreeper" salsa. It's truly addictive and is a must-try if you enjoy spice. It comes with the salsa tasting trio, but perhaps you can just request it with your regular chips and salsa. I ordered the grilled salmon tacos, which came recommended by the waiter. They were excellent - moist and full of flavor without being too fishy. The cilantro and chipotle crema complimented the fish nicely, adding a bit of heat and sour. $19 is a bit steep for fish tacos, but it does come with 3 good sized tacos and you are paying for the atmosphere as well. I believe the pricing is less for lunch. I was very impressed with the service, especially since they just opened 2 weeks ago. The staff was on point and there were absolutely no hiccups. My water was refilled countless times and they somehow managed to flawlessly separate the checks for us individually. I had a great first impression of Nada and I will definitely be returning. The only downside I can see is the parking. There is limited street parking, but there is a parking garage close by. It is also on the pricier side for Mexican food, but as I mentioned before, you're paying for atmosphere as well. read more

We all decided to get the "taco lunch box" which is a meal, a side and includes a dessert. Trust me, this is plenty of food. We also got queso with a salsa sampler. This is some of the best food we have had in Columbus. Very flavorful. I love Nada. I've been here several times and have never had a bad experience. The restaurant itself is well designed and beautiful decorated and spotlessly clean. Nada also happens to have my favorite public restroom in all of Columbus. It's extremely clean, well designed, and well decorated. Now, let's talk about the food... Everything we ordered was excellent. We started our meal with the trio of salsas, guacamole, and queso. The chips were extremely fresh as were the guac and salsas. I absolutely loved the kreeper salsa and the queso! The beet and empanada was excellent. The greens were crisp and cold and the empanada was fresh and warm. For our main course, we had shrimp and chicken tacos and a side of chili glazed fries. Again, the greens were crisp and cool and the proteins and potatoes were warm. For drinks, I had the pink grapefruit and the Suprema margaritas. Both were excellent and served in a timely manner. Our server, Tristan, was beyond helpful and very friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the entire menu. He was able to help my husband select his beer, made a great margarita recommendation for me, and was able to advise me on any menu items that would not be suitable for my pescetarian diet. He checked in on us frequently, but not too often as to be overbearing or annoying. He timed the meal service perfectly so that we had enough time for each course without ever feeling rushed or that we were waiting too long for the next item to arrive. Yes, Nada is pricier than some of the other Mexican restaurants in town (e.g., El Vaquero), but you get what you pay for. The food at Nada is much fresher and 100x better than the competition. Pricey Subpar Tacos Came here to have dinner with a friend from Hawai'i where good Mexican is in short supply. The Nada's menu looks incredibly enticing, but the tacos we were served were pretty uninspiring, with meat/primary ingredient portions that were much smaller than shown on the website. The flavor was okay--I probably liked the pork belly and the shrimp ones the most--but I thought the fried fish didn't taste great. In addition, the prices are not posted online; you only find out once you arrive that the tacos are priced 3x for $12-16. But that's 3x of the same taco, which makes no sense. This is probably a pricing strategy on Nada's part; if you want 3 or 4 different tacos, they're priced at 1/3 price (but rounded up to the nearest 50 cents), and then have another 50 cents tacked on top of THAT. As such, my four tacos--shrimp, baja fish, pork belly, and fried avocado--came out to $21. That's pretty ridiculous. Finally, tacos are supposed to have the option of corn or flour tortillas; we were never asked and the four I ordered all came out with flour, which I would've only wanted for fried fish.
