I've had nothing but consistently good food here. They even have take out and delivery (through doordash). The food is one of the best mexican out there. It's not a big place and kind of hidden. it's worth finding it. There are other mexican restaurants with bigger venues or more entertaining servers. This is a place you just go for authentic food. It is a chain, so you might pay a little more than some places, but it's well worth it. I still don't know how to pronounce it. But hey, pass the hot sauce, let's go! read more

Seated immediately. Waitress was positive and nice. Food served was hot! I ordered hard shell, corn : shrimp and crab tacos!! Filled with seafood. Delicious!! Hubby had lunch portion of fajitas. I wisely chose the "smaller" mini monster and was pleasantly surprised at how ginormous even this smaller portion was as it had the same length just half the toppings. This was my first time ever eating here. It has been difficult to fill the void that was left when Abuelo's at Easton just up and vanished. It was delicious, albeit not truly authentic. For my tastes, though, Abuelos's enchiladas were amazing and definitely what I hold the standards of a good enchilada to. The food here at Tlaquepaque was just ok. Adequate at best. The Heath Location is much better. I ordered the enchiladas as I normally do when eating Mexican food. My dining partner had the Tacos de Carne Asada. The sauce on my enchiladas was not really flavored, as it tasted like tomato paste from the can with no other detectable seasoning. The salad: cheese, lettuce, tomato, and rice were the best tasting part of my order. I was told by my dining partner that the Heath location tasted much better after she confirmed that my enchilada sauce tasted like straight-up tomato base from a can. I can say that her taco's looked great but when I sampled a piece of steak she again confirmed that her meat tasted plain and very much unseasoned. The best tasting part of the whole excursion was the pre-meal complimentary chips and salsa of which the chips were warm and the salsa had a little kick. The server was attentive and kept drinks, salsa and chips filled. The price was also reasonable for the meal. It was very quiet and peaceful inside due to us choosing an off hour to dine. The time between lunch rush and dinner. It could also have factored that 270 and 161 had lanes blocked due to an accident that no one made it out of the city the quick way. Horrendous service. We were treated like criminals. And main waiter had the worst attitude and when we asked to have our food packaged up he tried to charge us TWICE for that service. We felt discriminated against at the "establishment" and I recommend everyone avoid this place like the plague. read more

I've been here a couple times and always been satisfied with my meal. I stopped in a few days ago with famil. The restaurant is decent size but they sat all 5 parties back to back. It was a little odd but not terrible. They immediately brought out complimentary warm chips and salsa. We also ordered a side of queso which had great flavor. We had a little bit of trouble communicating with the waiter due to a language barrier. I ordered 2 enchiladas (1 beef, 1 chicken) with beans and rice. Both were good but I preferred the beef a little more then the chicken. Overall a decent meal and we'll be back. read more

My boyfriend and I went in to eat. we had just gotten our food when my bf realized he left his wallet at home. I went back to get it. next thing I know, he calls me saying they called the police saying he was not prepared to pay and two sheriffs showed up. I had been gone less than 10 minutes. I took a picture of his card (front and back) HE PAID LIKE HE WAS PREPARED TO DO FROM THE START. OVER $70! And they did not even package up our over priced food we never got to eat. This was THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD! TERRIBLE SERVICE! When I went back and showed the receipt and demanded they package our food, he started to call to police again. Over nothing. I will never dine here again and will continue to post about this and let everyone I know know how terrible they treat paying customers who just wanted to eat Mexican cuisine after a lovely day swimming. read more

I tried this place yesterday for the first time. The inside dining area is nice and the bar area is nicely decorated. The food was good and hot when we received it. They did mess up on our order but was fixed quickly. The queso dip had a good flavor but was a little runny. Our female server was very prompt and made sure we didn't need anything throughout our visit. We will definitely be back again soon. read more

This was our first visit to Tlaquepaque in Pataskala, which has a great menu with many choices. Complimentary chips with excellent salsa came immediately. Our servers were very prompt, pleasant, and helpful. However, the booths are straight-backed and uncomfortable. Ambient music was too loud (volume was finally turned down) and the high-backed booths made it dark and gloomy; we should have requested a table near the windows. We ordered a quesadilla and burrito from the lunch menu; both were excellent as were the accompanying sides, all served on blazing-hot plates. All in all, we had a very pleasant lunch and we plan to return. read more

This is a difficult review to write. The service was horrendous but the quality of the food was outstanding. The margaritas were tasty and the queso appetizer was fantastic. The dinner was very good as well. The horrendous part unfortunately out weights the food. Our service was downright terrible. Our dinner took over 70 minutes to arrive. Our server was "busy" with other tables and didn't come to our table. We asked other servers for bar drink refills and such. We saw tables come and go as we waited for our food. I was with shy people so we didn't say anything, but man, I was a sever and I haven't had service this bad in over 2 decades, and I eat out often. It's unfortunate because the food was great. I'm not sure I can talk anybody back here. Maybe come on an off hour? We came at 5:00pm and didn't leave until after 7. read more

This restaurant is worth checking out, most Mexican restaurants have the same kind of menu but this place has much more than the same old menu, we had a pitcher of blackberry margaritas and they were fabulous, food was very good and prices were very reasonable, we will definitely be back, thank you for a nice eating experience. read more

My wife and I like this place a lot. We normally go on Thursday because happy hour is All Day and the Margaritas are half price. I usually have a 3 item combination plate with rice, refried beans, and my favorite items 1) A chile relleno, 2) a pork tamal (tamale), and 3) a beef burrito. This is a LOT of food, so I always have leftovers for later in the week. I also recommend the golden margaritas. read more

We liked the original restaurant however, this restaurant magically appeared overnight. The menu was amazing. The staff is amazing. The food is 100% better than the original standard fair Mexican restaurant that was there. We eat here at least every two weeks if not once per week. read more
