1/2 lb peeled shrimp in Shake Sauce
    Myra B.

I made a reservation for 2, but it was not needed. They were almost empty on a Friday evening, but had several carryout orders. My friend and I did the All You Can Eat (AYCE) seafood boil and added snow crab since it's not included. She also got the mussels, which are included. I got the Shake Sauce, which was not that spicy but very flavorful. She got the garlic sauce and said it was good, but she liked the Shake Sauce better. I also got the onion rings, and they were just ok. My friend got hush puppies, which I tried, and that was just ok. The shrimp, crab, corn, and potatoes were all cooked perfectly! I'd skip the apps and go easy on the sides. Server was super informative, helpful, and attentive. I would go back!

When we first got there we was seated immediately. Our waiter showed up 20 mins later and started out rly good she was very informative and help us decide what to get. My fiancée never had any seafood so I thought this would be a good idea to try on Valentine's Day! We got the combo B with added corn and potatoes. The combo was $20 extra corn (3 pieces) $2.50 extra potatoes (3 pieces) $3. I got the wings $8 I think plus an extra $1 because I got all flats; and a basket of fries $4 Here is when it went all wrong! I got a fruit slushier peach which is $6 and my fiancée asked for shots of tequila and she said it was $9 a shot. We said cool so we got 2 shots she brings us these big glasses and we like well ok for $9! My slushier was nasty so I asked for her to take it back. She asked me if I wanted something else I told her now. She said she will take it off. My food comes out first then 30 mins later his boil comes out and he eat and everything is fine. We're done and I ask for the bill and it's $97!!!! I was like wait how!!!!! We look at the bill and she charged us $21 for DOUBLE SHOTS! we didn't ask for and she didn't remove the slushier. So we said something and she said oh let me change that for you. She removed the slushier and separated the two double shots and took $8 off one shot! So we still paid $21 for a double shot and $13 for the other when we asked for single shots and was quoted $9! So we should have paid $18!!!! Instead of her fixing her mistake she decided to argue with my fience instead of saying I'm sorry I miss quoted you and still give us the price she stated! He was very upset and i said it was ok because it was packed and I didn't wanna make a scene! She brought us out two strawberry hearts which was delicious! But we was very upset! I paid the bill and left. My fiancé wanted to speak with a manger but the line was out the door and he was really upset didn't wanna disrupt everyone meal! I don't like leaving bad reviews but servers if you don't know what something is then I would rather you find out then let us know rather then us being surprised when the bill come. No we didn't tip (so not like me) not only because a) you was arguing with us, b) you didn't right your wrong c) we felt very uncomfortable about the whole situation. The decoration was beautiful they had heart ballon's on the walls and big crabs with nets and low lighting! It was very beautiful! They gave us flowers also! But happy Valentine's Day to us! Just put a damper to an exciting new adventure for us and we didn't have a good experience!

Trash - never coming back. king crab you can tell was frozen but it was still ok. Hard to mess up. Crawfish definitely frozen like gross not flash frozen like other seafood boils. Tasted like they grabbed a bag from restaurant depot. We only got 4 pieces so guess it's good we didn't grab a lb. Oysters were bad you could smell it. Tasted horrible. Sauce wasn't that good - salty - we ordered medium it was no spice. Asked for hot version of sauce they brought out the hot concentrate that's supposed to mix into sauce - hoped she would bring out a mixed version we could dip. I wish shrimp had heads on them because they were over cooked. Just more bad than good. Calamari and wings were good that's it. Not worth returning for. No Mic Ultra beer either. Sigh - wasted calories Service/waitress was good. I usually try a spot twice before judging but not here.

Thank you kay, your recommendations and service was exceptional. This place needs more people to come and eat their amazing seafood boil

As soon as we entered Seafood Shake boil, we were greeted by a friendly staff. The restaurant is very spacious, clean and has a nautical vibe to it. Plenty of TV's on the wall to watch different types of sports/games. We had the seafood boil that had shrimp, crab legs, mussel, corn with Garlic Sauce. It was so good. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had the raw oysters, which was fantastic, no fishy smell to it at all. We also had tacos, which tasted great. Light and crispy shell with delicious chicken inside. All of the food were just fantastic. The staffs were very friendly and attentive. If you are craving seafood then I definitely recommend this place. It's a great place to come with friends and family.

I loved coming here!! I would come here earlier since it is in the Easton area. The service was amazing, the staff was awesome!! There were many places to sit. The food was great! I could not have asked for a better experience. I posted a picture of all my glorious seafood boil food hehe. I would come here with the family or friends! It was so cute, clean and updated inside.

Seafood boils are one of my favorite places to eat at, I wanted to love this place, but it didn't work out that way, unfortunately. For starters, the service was great! I had no issues with being seated promptly, and our server did a very good job. For the meal, we picked out a restaurant week special which had a lobster bisque, a calamari, and a sea food boil where I got crawfish, clams, corn, sausage and egg. The crawfish was bland, chewy and not good. The corn was sweet and delicious, the sausage was good, but the sauce was bland, bland, bland. No pronounced flavor of garlic, no spice despite ordering their hottest sauce, but to be fair on the sauce, there was something else the waiter mentioned to increase the spice, but I thought getting the spiciest sauce would be fine. Maybe I would give this place another try, but overall, I found this place to be in the lower tier of similar restaurants that I've eaten at.

The aroma of when you walk in the door it really hits you highly it's lovely with all the seasonings. We then was directed to be seat then there was a period of 10 mins before we even got someone to drink us water at the beginning & take our order. Ordered drinks that took 15 minutes to come out the name on the cheque is Kayla c but a guy served us, this was about 9:40 they closed at 10:30 two different ladies who didn't ever wait on us came to the table to ask if we ordering anything else cause they closing & how long would we be. Ultimately the food was good but the service was shit.

loved our service with ella! seafood was delicious. TVs everywhere which was nice to watch OSU game. can't wait to come back

Great tune here tonight for the Mother's Day special!! 4 courses for $40. I got the lobster bisque, sweet potatoes fries, lobster love boil!!, and the raspberry cake. We also got the dragonfruit mojito. It was sooo yummy!! My partner got the tilapia whole fish it was huge!! But it was hard to pull about the "meat" parts. My favorite was the lobster love - I got the Cajun sauce and it was sooo good! It came with shrimp, lobster, crawfish, kielbasa, potatoes and corn. They gave a lot of options here! I'd love to come back and try more

I really liked this place. We showed up on their soft opening and the place was wide open. I love that there is tv screens all over the restaurant so my husband can watch his sports. Ambiance: The seating was large enough that our party of 5 could be seated at an 8 top to accommodate us ordering multiple dishes. The service was pretty good. She was very attentive. I'd like to compare this to a Joe's Crab Shack and this place was just as good but I'm pretty sure a bit cheaper. My husband decided to just have wings with his beer for dinner and he said they were good. The we all had different sauces to try and they were all super yummy. My clam chowder tasted great definitely not a canned clam type of soup. Even tho we will likely never go back to the city lol I recommend locals and tourist to go! Great food and service.

I went for 614 Restaurant week & overall was satisfied. The decor is cute and the place is very clean. The service was amazing from Layla which I then found out she's new to serving. Honestly, I feel when you've got the right personality & work ethic, you just have it. She was attentive without being overly attentive. I never really had to wait for anything & I was seated towards back of restaurant when all her tables were towards the front. Management seemed great too. Now onto the food...this place has an AMAZING happy hour that I will probably frequent even more than for the boil. By this I mean mostly the food options which are all 1/2 off. 6 raw oysters for $7.50 is great! The other appetizers on the list (which is large) all sound good too. Small beer selection which is around $3 each. Only thing that would make it way better is if they put some of their cocktails on it. So for 1st course I had the clam chowder. It was pretty good, nothing mind blowing but the bowl is huge for the portion you get...a smaller bowl will make patrons feel like they're getting more of a deal. Maybe it's smaller portions for restaurant week? I don't know but other places don't do that for the special that I've been to. For the 2nd course I got the raw oysters. They are from Korea and unlike any raw oyster I've ever had. If you're afraid of trying them, start here, as they have no fishiness or strong smell or taste to them. Very clean tasting. 3rd course was the boil & I went with the crab choice & house sauce. Heads up if you ask for extra sauce it's about $2 or $3 but you get a nice big bowl of it. The house sauce is tasty & has flavor without being too spicy. Once again, the portion just seemed a lot smaller than I've had at other boil places. The crab was pretty wimpy too. I did enjoy the sausage in it more than I thought I would though. Overall, I will definitely be back to try some of their fun looking drinks & other food items that are not necessarily the boils. It all looks amazing & like their convenient location as well!

Thankful I don't live closer to Easton or I'd literally be here every day. The king crab legs are a must try. I got the house sauce extreme spicy - so good! Not overly spicy, but a good kick. Fries are crispy! Put this on the list of must try places!

It's truly special when a server makes the effort to get to know everyone at the table, make jokes and join in on the laughs. I was visiting Columbus for the weekend, and throughout the rest of my stay after dinner, I can say this meal was a highlight! The atmosphere was beautiful, and we were seated right away! The cocktails were amazing, I had a strawberry fields. Now as for the short ribs, they melted in my mouth! They paired perfectly with the risotto, truly a great plate of food that felt like home! I have already recommended this place to friends visiting Columbus soon!

We visited yesterday around 3 PM after seeing the new Mario movie. We didn't have a reservation, but seating wasn't an issue at that time. As always, the restaurant was clean, lively, and welcoming. The staff was very kind, and our waitress was attentive throughout our visit. We ordered many of our usual favorites, but my entrée--the braised short rib--was not quite up to the standard I've come to expect. While the meat itself was still tender, moist, and flavorful, the risotto was disappointing. It lacked its usual creamy texture and was noticeably too thick. Additionally, the dish was served with only carrots as the root vegetable, whereas in the past it has included a variety of vegetables that really elevated the overall flavor and presentation. I was especially disappointed because this was actually the first time I remembered to take a photo of my meal before digging in. I came in fully intending to finally leave a glowing five-star review based on all of our previous great experiences--but unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to that expectation. This was surprising, especially given how consistently great this dish--and the restaurant overall--has been during our previous visits. We've dined here at least five times this year and even celebrated our son's third birthday here, so this experience felt out of character. One difference worth noting is that we typically visit for dinner, and this was our first time coming during the afternoon. It's possible there may be differences in the kitchen or service during that time. We do plan to return, as we're hoping this was just an off day. This place has earned a lot of goodwill from us over time, but we wanted to share this experience in case it's helpful for others.

It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.

Came here attempting to kill time before my flight back home and glad that we found this spot on…read moreYelp. I've been axe throwing before but I've never really enjoyed it until this time! First of all, I'm absolutely terrible at throwing axes. I think I've managed to get it stuck on or two times in my life even thought I've gone multiple times. The check in process here is quite easy. We filled out the waiver and then were walked to our spot. At our spot, they went through safety training and all the games. There's multiple games you can play if you're really good. We stuck with the originally one though. I kept thinking, oh gosh, this guy training us is going to be pissed cuz I'm never going to get it to stick on the board. Well, he ended the best trainer I've ever had! I actually got it to stick on the board more often than not!!!! Now I fully get the appeal of axe throwing. The nice thing about this place is that they also have food and drinks if you want. There's a full bar. I just got a stout beer which was delish. We only had about an hour so we didn't order food or anything but that also looked really good. There were some other groups in here throwing axes too. Definitely a bigger space, too, so if you have a birthday party or a large group, this would be such a fun activity to do. And again, staff is incredible and did such a good job taking care of us!

Dueling Axes - New Albany | Axe Throwing Bar…read more We had the space to ourselves and the staff tonight was great. Showed me how to throw correctly and cheered me on when I had a good follow-through. Great way to start my weekend. I recommend Dueling Axes - New Albany | Axe Throwing Bar.

Awesome deals and delicious bites and drinks at happy hour! Had great service at the bar. Check…read morethem out!

The food was great, and overall the service had the potential to be as well. I'm writing this…read morereview specifically because of the waiter we had, he was also covering the bar, and he was working incredibly hard. I honestly felt bad for him. He was doing everything he could to take care of us while also managing a full bar, which had to be at least 15 people deep at times. That's not fair to him, and it ultimately impacts the guests as well. To be clear, this is not a complaint about him, quite the opposite. He was outstanding. At one point, I literally saw him running to keep up with everything. He remained kind, attentive, and positive the entire time, despite being clearly overworked. Unfortunately, I also noticed several other staff members standing around near the prep area chatting instead of helping, which made the situation even more frustrating to watch. We experienced delays with our food, and it was noticeable that other tables were being served ahead of us simply because our waiter was tied up making drinks at the bar. Even something as simple as running out our appetizer wasn't supported by the team--he had to step away and do it himself. That's a breakdown in teamwork, not a reflection of his effort. The food itself was good, but the staffing and support structure need attention. Asking one person to handle both the bar and multiple tables, especially when they're spread out, is setting them up to struggle. If we are seated in a situation like that again, we would likely choose to leave. That said, I truly want to emphasize how hard this individual worked. He did everything right, and it showed. Management should take note, he's the kind of employee you want representing your business.
