Build your own burger- with bacon jam
Toi N.

I will return for the sprouts- OMG! My burger was delicious however I will not do the bacon jam again. It was not jammy it was more of a spread-not sweet like one would think or expect if they were to order "jam" ie...sweet. The over all vibe was retro meets modern. I enjoyed the idea that children could play arcade games while they waited for food. Our server was knowledgeable and clearly loved her job. I wish I kept her name to give her credit

Games!

I've been gluten free (not by choice) for several years and was excited to be able to eat fried pickles and fried chicken. The service was fantastic and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The arcade games were pretty awesome too! We will absolutely be going back for more gluten free goodies and delicious milkshakes!

Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

Decided to try a new place at Easton and it was pretty good. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Food came out pretty fast and was piping hot. The decor is sort of a fancy diner with a few arcade games and free popcorn. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich which was good with a nice hot sauce and plenty of blue cheese. My wife had the BLT and fries. The BLT was good but nothing special, but the fries were very good. Typically fresh cut fries are not really crisp but these were and they were not overly salted. We will probably return but probably try some of the other menu items.

Brussels sprouts

The best thing there was our Server. Everything was expensive for the ambiance. The cheapest thing was my margarita for $7. Cheesesteak was good but $15 and Brussels sprouts I think was $12. The total was over $40!. I believe that's pretty pricey for one person

The Green goddess sauce

Free arcade, games, great throwback music playing, and absolutely the best onion rings I've ever tasted. Even their salad has a green tzatziki sauce. Which reminds me of the Fisherman's Wharf days. Great staff. Delicious Food.

The updates to the space are impressively refined. From the moment we entered it felt like a new and elevated dining experience. We were promptly greeted and ushered to a lush padded booth surrounded by greenery. The waitress was quick to make tasty recommendations and the food quickly arrived. Upgrading to a combo allowed us to try fun beverages and various sides. The crisp fries on the supreme burger didn't add much but the onion rings were amazing as was the smashed blue cheese on the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich.

Standard cheeseburger and Salad.

We stopped in unknowingly during their soft opening. The inside of the restaurant was pleasant and clean. They had several TVs with a variety of different programs. The hostess, our server and the manager were all very friendly. I ordered the classic cheesesteak with fries. It was good. My wife ordered the standard cheeseburger with a salad. Salad was good. Cheeseburger was ok. If we were looking for a burger, this probably wouldn't be our 1st choice. Now they did have several other options in the burger category that may be better. Prices were reasonable for the area.

I loved the vibe and all the plants, the staff was incredibly kind, great cocktails, and I found so many things I loved to eat - it was hard to decide! (I was pleasantly surprised because I'm gluten free and typically eat pretty healthy.) Loved their popcorn chicken, I usually can't have food like that but theirs is gluten free! Also loved their sweet potato fries. Another person in my group got a chocolate peanut butter milkshake and said it was delicious! I'll be going back soon!

Bareburger Impossible Burger, fantastic French fries, and the topper...a vegan Vanilla shake!! Yum and fun!
Julie B.

We were so excited to see Bareburger at Easton Town Center! We searched for restaurants while shopping and couldn't wait to visit again. The restaurant is beautiful with plenty of space. Our server was Jules and she was fantastic. I am vegan and she checked several items for me to make sure I had what I wanted. My husband and I got burgers and fries. Impossible burger for me. The garlic aioli was vegan (Jules checked) and made the impossible burger even better. The French fries were perfection. The topper though was vegan options for milkshakes! Thank you, Bareburger for including vegan dessert options. It's rare. We had a wonderful meal with excellent service. We will definitely be back.

It's truly special when a server makes the effort to get to know everyone at the table, make jokes and join in on the laughs. I was visiting Columbus for the weekend, and throughout the rest of my stay after dinner, I can say this meal was a highlight! The atmosphere was beautiful, and we were seated right away! The cocktails were amazing, I had a strawberry fields. Now as for the short ribs, they melted in my mouth! They paired perfectly with the risotto, truly a great plate of food that felt like home! I have already recommended this place to friends visiting Columbus soon!

We visited yesterday around 3 PM after seeing the new Mario movie. We didn't have a reservation, but seating wasn't an issue at that time. As always, the restaurant was clean, lively, and welcoming. The staff was very kind, and our waitress was attentive throughout our visit. We ordered many of our usual favorites, but my entrée--the braised short rib--was not quite up to the standard I've come to expect. While the meat itself was still tender, moist, and flavorful, the risotto was disappointing. It lacked its usual creamy texture and was noticeably too thick. Additionally, the dish was served with only carrots as the root vegetable, whereas in the past it has included a variety of vegetables that really elevated the overall flavor and presentation. I was especially disappointed because this was actually the first time I remembered to take a photo of my meal before digging in. I came in fully intending to finally leave a glowing five-star review based on all of our previous great experiences--but unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to that expectation. This was surprising, especially given how consistently great this dish--and the restaurant overall--has been during our previous visits. We've dined here at least five times this year and even celebrated our son's third birthday here, so this experience felt out of character. One difference worth noting is that we typically visit for dinner, and this was our first time coming during the afternoon. It's possible there may be differences in the kitchen or service during that time. We do plan to return, as we're hoping this was just an off day. This place has earned a lot of goodwill from us over time, but we wanted to share this experience in case it's helpful for others.

Their visual chart is a…read moregodsend for cocktail explorers, and all of the drinks came out delicious and exactly as described. It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.

The tea sets that our teas were served in were all different which was nice so we could admire the different ones. Very beautiful pieces. Our servers, which were multiple, were very kind. Downside was they were not checking on refilling our tea pots unless we asked for a refill. Another disappointing part of the service was we were working on a Prix Fix menu but at no point did they ask if we wanted anything additional which I did. The food and teas had a mixed review amongst my group. My highlights were the deviled egg tea sandwich, chicken salad tea sandwich, and blueberry lemon scone. Personally wasn't a fan of the house salad and custard. The salad was plain with almost no dressing. While looking what other tables were having, there are a few things such as the tomato soup and poutine that caught my eye. Willing to come back to try the regular menu as well as iced teas. The food was great, and overall the service had the potential to be as well. I'm writing this…read morereview specifically because of the waiter we had, he was also covering the bar, and he was working incredibly hard. I honestly felt bad for him. He was doing everything he could to take care of us while also managing a full bar, which had to be at least 15 people deep at times. That's not fair to him, and it ultimately impacts the guests as well. To be clear, this is not a complaint about him, quite the opposite. He was outstanding. At one point, I literally saw him running to keep up with everything. He remained kind, attentive, and positive the entire time, despite being clearly overworked. Unfortunately, I also noticed several other staff members standing around near the prep area chatting instead of helping, which made the situation even more frustrating to watch. We experienced delays with our food, and it was noticeable that other tables were being served ahead of us simply because our waiter was tied up making drinks at the bar. Even something as simple as running out our appetizer wasn't supported by the team--he had to step away and do it himself. That's a breakdown in teamwork, not a reflection of his effort. The food itself was good, but the staffing and support structure need attention. Asking one person to handle both the bar and multiple tables, especially when they're spread out, is setting them up to struggle. If we are seated in a situation like that again, we would likely choose to leave. That said, I truly want to emphasize how hard this individual worked. He did everything right, and it showed. Management should take note, he's the kind of employee you want representing your business.
