The Beeline looks like an upscale bar with art deco wallpaper, crystal chandeliers, and velvet seats. They pride themselves with serving innovative cocktails and $9 craft beers. The space is double-height, with railings upstairs, making you ask, "Is there a private room for parties?" Wouldn't that be neat! No! Upstairs are restrooms and corporate offices. That was a missed opportunity. Also, what was surprising to us was the service model: order at the bar, pick up at the bar, and even bring your own snacks. I saw one gentleman at the bar with his own box of Cheez-Its and a Yeti cup. The atmosphere felt very insular. When the service is "self serve" and the guests bring their own pantry, the $9 beer feels less like a luxe experience and more like a cover charge for a pretty room. We visited when the second bar was closed for a private event so it took a little time to get drinks but the bartenders were making each one with care. We dropped by on a Monday at 5:30 PM with 4 people and were able to snag a spot without any reservation. Drinks are ordered directly at the bar, no table service here. Happy hour runs daily from 3 to 6 PM and yes, the drinks are actually half price, which made us genuinely happy. They don't serve food but have an open policy that lets you bring in your own. Mondays and Sundays are also Industry Night, so in addition to the happy hour deals, they had $3 Coors Banquet and $5 pours of Corazon, Jameson, and Fernet all day. 10/10 would come back for a quick drink before dinner or before heading over to Pins Mechanical Co. around the block. Amazing happy hour and the patio is definitely one I will need to come back to appreciate in the summer. My friend had the espresso martini and shared that it was smooth and delicious. This is a fabulous bar and so far one of my favorites in the Columbus area. We stumbled on this place while waiting for 40 deuces next door, and were super impressed. Beeline is beautifully designed, and had fantastic bartenders and cocktails. In fact, we are going again today to check it out on a Saturday. This place is a great spot to bring a date or go with friends. There is a really nice outdoor area to enjoy the sunshine in the summertime, and I think there is often a dj. Side note, 40 Deuces was horrible and I wish we hadn't had a reservation there, otherwise we would have stayed to hang out at Beeline. Update: we came back on a Saturday and had a blast. There are a couple of things that are good to know. They have a dj on Friday and Saturday that starts at 9, that is inside. This place seemed to be less busy by 11. The Beeline made one of my favorite cocktails at the Spring Cocktail Contest, so I was excited to visit the bar and redeem the card they were handing out. To be fair, I went for patio drinks on one of the first really beautiful evenings of the year, so I did expect it to be crowded, but the experience was a little off. They have an awesome patio, with high tops, tables, couches, and benches scattered around the bar. Service is walk up at the bar, and for being 84 degrees and sunny, there were two very aloof bartenders in the space. It was very hard to catch their attention, and they were kept moving (slowly) making the kind of complicated cocktails Beeline is known for. I had a glass of wine and enjoyed some people watching, but the bar was running so slowly at half capacity that I'm not sure what it would be like if it were full. I had never heard of Beeline until the week before. My friends and I went to Forbidden Root for dinner and Beeline was next door. I came back into the area the following week to try it. Easy parking here too. There's a large parking lot that is free! When I walked in, it wasn't super packed, but they have a bar outside as well. I ordered one of their seasonal cocktails, Buzzed in Bordeau. It was pretty refreshing with a nice hint of lemon and lavender. My friend got Havana Great Time, which had strawberry and mint. I heard this bar was lovely inside, and wanted to check it out. I came for happy hour on a Friday night, early enough that I was the first customer. The bartenders both greeted me and explained the specials. Rather than sitting at the bar, I chose a cushy seat against the wall, facing the bar. It is indeed prettily decorated, but I wasn't impressed with the drinks. The prices were good, but I was served water in a plastic cup. It did get busier within the hour, but it probably not somewhere I would return to. I don't believe they serve food. read more

I came here on a Tuesday evening for a date and automatically fell in love with the space and their cocktail menu. For starters, the entire place was dimly lit with giant chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Very romantic in my opinion. They have bar seating, a wall of booth seats with high top tables, and even an outdoor patio. We decided to sit at the bar and both bartenders were friendly, shared their favorites, and gave us drink suggestions. They really took the time to make them and the ones we tried were great. The Bend the Rails cocktail was smooth and not too sweet. The Smokestack was pretty much their take on a margarita. It was good but a little too tart for me. We literally sat there 15 minutes. We new exactly what we wanted to order. There were no other customers sitting around us, it wasn't busy. She made a few drinks and walked away. This is a neat space with indoor and "outdoor seating". They have two bar areas available. The outside seating is covered and has plastic panels to keep the cold out but it looks like it can be opened in the warmer weather. Their drinks are good. The service was friendly. As the evening got later more and more people were running around without their masks on, and the bartender kept pulling his down more often than wearing it. The fact that the bartender was not wearing his and more patrons were walking around without theirs on was the reason my friends and I left the establishment. Was at Easton doing some errands and decided to try out Beeline while we were there. I got the drink of the month called "Dark and Stormy" which had dark rum, ginger beer, and lime. It was a great deal- only $6! The space has an elevated and fancy feel. The decor is really cool with giant chandeliers and an eclectic color scheme. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It was understandably pretty dead at 2:00 but we enjoyed our time there! My only criticism was that I did find myself wishing there were some food options there- even just some snacks/appetizers. Not to mention its essentially like being downtown except if you're like me and you live outside of 270 SO MUCH CLOSER! Parking is obviously a breeze because you're at Easton. There are lots of places around to eat at or get drinks at if you're bouncing around. What really sets this place apart to me is their happy hour. First of all, it goes until 7pm. THANK YOU. It is impossible for me to get to a happy hour in Columbus when they end at 6. This gives me a fighting chance and I am here for it. Second of all, their happy hour offers ALL beverages half off. Love. I'm so excited to go back in and try more of their cocktails during HH. Outside of HH, they also offer nightly specials that start after 7pm with some pretty good deals. I've asked for drink modifications and they're always happy to make them. The space is nice... there is a bougie feel to it with the chandeliers but then there are also plenty of TVs so you can watch games. A crowd pleaser for all types of audiences haha. There is also patio/outdoor seating that's dog friendly. Only thing that would take this to the next level is if they served some snacks, even if it wasn't a full kitchen. I am here on 6/28/24 around 7pm and was treated so unprofessionally and awful by the female bartenders who work here. Whoever trains these girls needs to seriously step it up because not only did beeline lose my business they lost my entire companies business who normally attends beeline on a monthly occurrence. I would not have a birthday party at this establishment. I had my husband's 50th birthday party here. I reserved the outside patio area. Bartender was supposed to be there from 6-9. Bartender did not show up til 630 had my guest waiting to get a drink. The seating area was all wood benches and had no cushions for my guest to sit on. So they were highly uncomfortable. Also the trashes were not emptied because we did have food catered. The bartender was rude when guest gave them a plate due to trash was overflowing. I spoke to there events coordinator with the issues I had no refund of any money was offered only a I will address this with my staff. I would suggest if you're looking for a place to have a party do not have it here the service is not worth the money. read more

The happy hour is phenomenal! The drinks are spectacular and the service was good. Please understand you will need to go to the bar to order if you decide to sit at one of their booths. When I went with my girlfriend, we had started the evening off in their outside covered patio area. The server out there was super friendly and great to talk to. It was a little chilly so we moved inside to one of the booths and it was nice and cozy. The lighting was just right and the candle added a nice touch. As for the service inside... not so great. I waited for a good five minutes before anyone got back to me and they really were not that busy. I assume since this place is new, they are trying to work out all the kinks. This place is pretty cool for what it's meant to be--- a hip cocktail bar for young professionals. The interior is beautiful, with high ceilings, a second floor, and impressive crystal chandeliers. I liked the music playing also. One long booth seat runs one wall with cocktail tables and chairs lining it, and the bar is on the other side. Backlit and beautiful, it's definitely a cool IG-worthy spot. My drink was tasty and as expected. Sweet and lemony with a little bite. Prices are as what you'd expect with the boujie interior. The service was a little off, though. It took awhile to get a drink after we ordered (on a Wednesday evening), and the bartenders seemed somewhat aloof. I also noticed one of them eating visibly behind the bar which I think is a pretty standard no-no any time you are in food or beverage service, even when we aren't fighting a pandemic.
