The bartenders are fun and good. I've had wings, sweet potato fries (no brown sugar toppings if you think they do). A friend of mine told me she wasn't going to order them because of the sugar and I was like ummm way to judge - they don't have sugar. So now that we have stablished they don't come with sugar - their ceaser a with blackened salmon is great! So is the blackened chicken. Rusty Bucket is all over Columbus. This 4-star rating is specific to the Easton location. It's a chain, so the menu is mostly the same regardless of location (from what I've seen in Columbus). And in my opinion, the menu is worthy of 3.5 stars, if half stars were a thing. Nothing is bad, but nothing is stellar, either. The kicker for me is that the prices are not proportional to the quality and type of food. It's like an expensive, elevated Applebee's, in my opinion. They do have a solid happy hour- definitely worth checking out. And they do have a couple stand-out items (buffalo chicken sandwich & bone-in wings) that I am fine paying full-price for, even if I still think they're priced too high. I'm increasing the Easton location to a solid 4-star rating because of the service. Host stand very friendly and accommodating, server was attentive and personable, and the food came out quickly (and hot)! Friday night at Easton should be hopping, but not at this Rusty Bucket location. It took forever for the waiter to come over and acknowledge us. Then it took forever to get our drinks. We ordered one Simple Salad and Spinach Con Queso as our starters. Instead of getting these as starters, we got our meals first. We asked about our starters and our waiter said "I put those in to come out at the dame time as your dinners." In what realm would this be acceptable or the norm???? We got the BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad and The Bucket Burger. For dessert, we got the New York Cheesecake and the Chocolate Icebox Cake. Both desserts had the feel of premade, brought-in items. Rusty Bucket serves up typical American food. We tried their bacon burger, beef stroganoff, fish & chips, and turkey club. I highly recommend the beef stroganoff! I only took off a star because the prices are too expensive in my opinion. While we were at the Easton location, we sat on the outside which does not have a barrier between the sidewalk and the table. We had an item of ours stolen from a passerby and when I left the restaurant to approach the person, our waiter accompanied me which I greatly appreciated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Went here on a Sunday night because I had a BOGO entree coupon. Immediately we noticed the high top bar table was very wobbly and our chairs were extremely wobbly too. They all probably need some screws tightened! We sat for 15 min before a waitress came to the table. After that, service was good. We ordered fried pickles. While in town to visit w/ family we stopped by the mall this is connected to. They have many food options but we opted to try something we don't have back home in MN. The Rusty Bucket is pretty much a standard American restaurant/tavern chain. I got the Imposter (impossible cheeseburger) came w/ fries. I know wheat is a bit healthier but I did not care for the wheat bun w/ the flavor of the burger. I feel like it made the whole thing taste a bit bland, maybe the burger itself needed a bit of season. Others ordered burgers a well and enjoyed them. They had a decent size menu, so I'd probably go back and get something else. Prices weren't too bad either. I visited this restaurant with a work group while traveling on business. The restaurant was very busy and the service was excellent. We tried the nachos, fried pickle spears for appetizers and they were very delicious and satisfying. The margarita was pretty tasty but definitely lacked the average amount of tequila that should go in it, so I ordered a shot of tequila and they gave it to me in the cutest little bucket! I loved that! My entrée was the rusty bucket burger with fries and it was excellent! Really great burger and I highly recommend it. The fries were really good too and definitely added to the meal. Stumbled upon this restaurant while shopping in the area. We were greeted and seated right away. This place has a laid back vibe and seems to like to keep the lights dim. I found it odd how dark it was in the bathroom, but that's neither here nor there. The menu is your typical American food selection. I went with the Philly cheesesteak with fries and a strawberry lemonade. The strawberry lemonade was a little to tart for my liking. The cheesesteak was very good. This was my 2nd time coming to Rusty bucket. I sat at the bar and the attention was bad, like bad! I don't know why I had the feeling I was being ignored for a moment, the bartender did not greet me just ask me what I wanted to drink, I told her a needed a couple minutes and she ignored me for 10 min until finally I told her I was ready to order, the restaurant was not even crowded, but whatever I ordered my food, beef stroganoff, this dish in particular was the first I learned to cook when I was around 13 years old and based on that I think the make a good version but is not definitely the traditional stroganoff. Stopped by the Easton location before a Funnybone show. It's right next to the mall and the venue and was a perfect light dinner. The restaurant is pretty large with ample seating, patio seating and large bar top. We sat at the bar as we didn't have much time to spare and got drinks. Wednesdays are a $7 whiskey/ bourbon day and I got a really nice old fashioned. The bar tender was awesome! She was friendly, efficient and helpful! They have a nice selection of draft beer and my partner really enjoyed his ice cold Sam Adams. We got a Ruben and fried pickles to share. Both were executed perfectly! I was shocked at how good the sandwich was, perfect amount of meat and amazing dressing. The size is very generous as well and was great to split! The pickles are perfect. This restaurant scored an F! There was a 45 minute wait in a freezing, cold foyer while half the restaurant was empty with Uncleaned tables, meaning staff shortage. After a while, we decided to just sit at the bar and eat, and half of the time sitting there I was staring at a huge plate of half eaten wings from the person next to me. He had shove them up towards the front for the lady to pick them up. However, she ignored them. Even after he left, they still sat there in front of me. And from the moment I sit down, I smelt the strong stench of mold, which was coming from ice container (I used to be a bartender back in the day so I know exactly what it was). The bar itself was tacky (sticky from beer spills). I will say the bartender was working alone with way too many customers to take on....but you should still be friendly, even if you're irritated working. She never told us her name, we ordered water for the beginning, and never got it, our alcoholic drinks were completely packed with ice to where you couldn't even stir them up. This is how company save money by cheating the customers. And our food was exactly the same, as you can see in the picture, the coleslaw and tartar sauce. We're only halfway filled, and didn't even get a lemon wedge for my the fish. Not to mention I only got a handful of fries for $20. Lol Which, as soon as I set them down, I took a bite and they were completely cold, my fish was over cooked shriveled up and hard. Of course she didn't come back to check so I had to sit there while my date ate his food trying to flag her down just to get warm fries. She did not apologize, but said she would order new ones, but that was after she took the time to cash out for other customers. I didn't notice she was on top of the family of four and even waited on them before us, and of course we were there first. Possibly she was thinking well maybe they'll be a bigger tip with them. Anyway, when my fries came, they were exactly the same temperature as the originals. I had to get up to go get ketchup, salt, pepper and napkins....the people beside me ask if we could share. Oh, and I had to go get menus from the hostess. In reality, we should not have tipped her butt due to working in the industry we did. Also, everyone at the bar was freezing due to four ceiling fans directly above us, turned on high, I finally asked if she could turn them off. Everyone was eating with their coats on. But before dinner, I ran to the restroom and it was disgusting, reeked of urine, and as you can see by the pictures complete disarray! You can imagine with the kitchen was like. A young lady showed up to get her take-out order, she leaves, and comes back to the restaurant because they had forgotten something. I never saw the manager anywhere perhaps they were helping the cook. Pretty sure with all the other restaurants at Easton this one will sink eventually unless there is change. And I think the change starts with hiring adequate staff and training your employees. Moral of the story, when you go out for an evening you expect good food, and to be waited on. I would've been happier to go through McDonald's drive-through for a fish sandwich and fries. read more

This is the second location I went to during my stay in the Columbus area. The group I was with was wanting to watch the game at the bar so I came along. I was craving a steak so I ordered the New York Strip not knowing what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised when the steak arrived cooked exactly to medium like I ordered. It was large, flavorful and tender- you couldn't expect more if you were in a steakhouse. The server had brought a bottle of steak sauce but there was no need to enhance the flavor of this steak! In Columbus for the day and I decided to go to the mall. This is a spot located within the huge Easton mall. Our waitress Bre was great. She was very attentive to us and the other tables in the area. My friend ordered the peel and eat shrimp, and a double nickel salad. She also got the fried pickles, and they weren't anything to write home about... That's her go-to meal, so she sticks with it. I have never been here, so I decided on the spinach dip and a Cobb salad with no bacon. First, the spinach dip didn't really have any flavor to it, I wasn't impressed at all, but the chips were good... the first Cobb salad I was given had bacon on it, so that turned me off. The next one was without bacon, so I was able to eat it. It was pretty good. If I ever decided to come back there, I would get the salad again. read more

I've passed up several Rusty Bucket locations since moving back to Columbus and after giving them a try last week, I regret that it took me so long to try it. I had no clue that they were a Cameron Mitchell restaurant until my sister mentioned it. From what I hear, it's the only Cameron Mitchell restaurant that can be franchised, which is obviously why there is more than one location in the city. Knowing this, I immediately had more faith in their food and was ready to dive in. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and we were seated right away. Our waitress came over immediately, brought us waters and asked if we had any questions. After looking over the menu I decided on fish and chips. I hadn't eaten anything all day and I was looking for something filling. My sister ordered a salad and wings and it didn't take too long for our food to come out of the kitchen. Our plates arrived at our table piping hot and we went to town! Hey now, after shopping for hours on end, you can really work up an appetite! We both ate every bite of food on our plate and left with a fully belly and smiles on our face. I definitely won't wait too long to give them another visit. The Hostess with the attitude and missing waiter.. We were told a 20 minute wait, which was fine for a part of 5. The restaurant had several areas closed. As we watched at least two parties of 4 get seated before us in the "closed sections". When we asked if we could be seated as others before us were, they put us in the back of the restaurant at a table under the AC. When we asked to move, they put us at a same size table closer to the middle... We ordered soft drinks, and cocktails and Spinach Con Queso, drinks came one short soft drink and no Spinach Con Queso. No place setting, no App missing waiter. Main course finally comes out, 3 plates....wait... 1 plate..... ask for utensils.... Wait any finally 5th plate. Still no app and no waiter Waiter only stops by once for refills during our meal... and the hostess keeps walking by, not to ask if we are all set, just to look at us out of the side of her eye. Went in on a Saturday afternoon, was told it would be about a 45 minute wait, which was shorter than 3 hour wait at all the surrounding restaurants, wait only ended up being 15 minutes, our waitress was very busy with a few parties so service took some time but she was very apologetic and polite. The appetizers were very good and the chicken parm with the Alfredo noodles was delicious.
