Turkey club, fish & chips, beef stroganoff, bacon cheese burger
Jocelyn H.

Rusty Bucket serves up typical American food. We tried their bacon burger, beef stroganoff, fish & chips, and turkey club. I highly recommend the beef stroganoff! I only took off a star because the prices are too expensive in my opinion. While we were at the Easton location, we sat on the outside which does not have a barrier between the sidewalk and the table. We had an item of ours stolen from a passerby and when I left the restaurant to approach the person, our waiter accompanied me which I greatly appreciated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Keep your belongings close to you!

Went here on a Sunday night because I had a BOGO entree coupon. Immediately we noticed the high top bar table was very wobbly and our chairs were extremely wobbly too. They all probably need some screws tightened! We sat for 15 min before a waitress came to the table. After that, service was good. We ordered fried pickles. These were quarter spears with a tasty fried batter. I ordered the turkey burger with sweet potato fries and my husband ordered fish and chips. Both of our meals were good, but nothing spectacular. Average meal. Average experience.

The Imposter Burger

While in town to visit w/ family we stopped by the mall this is connected to. They have many food options but we opted to try something we don't have back home in MN. The Rusty Bucket is pretty much a standard American restaurant/tavern chain. I got the Imposter (impossible cheeseburger) came w/ fries. I know wheat is a bit healthier but I did not care for the wheat bun w/ the flavor of the burger. I feel like it made the whole thing taste a bit bland, maybe the burger itself needed a bit of season. Others ordered burgers a well and enjoyed them. They had a decent size menu, so I'd probably go back and get something else. Prices weren't too bad either. Service was bit slow but there were multiple servers coming over to check on us from time to time. They were all generally nice. It was also fairly quiet at the time we went.

Blackened Salmon Salad

I visited this restaurant with a work group while traveling on business. The restaurant was very busy and the service was excellent. We tried the nachos, fried pickle spears for appetizers and they were very delicious and satisfying. For my main entree I had the blackened salmon salad which had pecans, strawberries and goat cheese with a honey vinaigrette dressing which was excellent. Next time I have the opportunity to dine at Rusty bucket I definitely will.

We were able to get a reservation same day for Sunday during brunch hours. It was nice and chill in there but the service was a tad bit slow. The food was fresh and hot. Bacon burger might be the best I've had in a long time. Philly was pretty tasty too. Good value for the price.

This pub is cute and lively. We had to wait 10 Min and there were alot of people eating and waiting. Service is fantastic and management is attentive. We ordered bacon burger which was excellent, fried pickles and they were hands down the best! Side salad was fresh and delicious with the honey vingrette. The chili was good but nothing special.

Margarita with a shot bucket of tequila

We arrived to the Rusty bucket around 9:40pm and they still seated us even though they closed at 10pm. The margarita was pretty tasty but definitely lacked the average amount of tequila that should go in it, so I ordered a shot of tequila and they gave it to me in the cutest little bucket! I loved that! My entrée was the rusty bucket burger with fries and it was excellent! Really great burger and I highly recommend it. The fries were really good too and definitely added to the meal. If you're looking for a good burger, the Rusty Bucket is a place to stop to get it.

Strawberry Lemonade

Stumbled upon this restaurant while shopping in the area. We were greeted and seated right away. This place has a laid back vibe and seems to like to keep the lights dim. I found it odd how dark it was in the bathroom, but that's neither here nor there. The menu is your typical American food selection. I went with the Philly cheesesteak with fries and a strawberry lemonade. The strawberry lemonade was a little to tart for my liking. The cheesesteak was very good. I enjoyed the horseradish sauce that was provided. It really hit the spot. Our waitress while friendly seemed to disappear whenever it was time to get our check and leave.

Haven't been to a Rusty Bucket in a while. The covered patio was a nice place to be on a sunny Sunday. People watching and we saw a Lamborghini cruise by. Our server did a great job of holding down the patio area. Food is always consistently good at Rusty Buckets. They even had Mimosas; which were not on the menu. Looking forward to getting out on the patio again before fall.

Beef stroganoff

This was my 2nd time coming to Rusty bucket. I sat at the bar and the attention was bad, like bad! I don't know why I had the feeling I was being ignored for a moment, the bartender did not greet me just ask me what I wanted to drink, I told her a needed a couple minutes and she ignored me for 10 min until finally I told her I was ready to order, the restaurant was not even crowded, but whatever I ordered my food, beef stroganoff, this dish in particular was the first I learned to cook when I was around 13 years old and based on that I think the make a good version but is not definitely the traditional stroganoff. If it wasn't for the attention my experience would've been good.

Hostess was not friendly and couldn't care any less about helping anyone even when we were trying to be polite with her. The restaurant had the air conditioning at 55 degrees which made it completely uncomfortable to sit inside. We requested to sit outside because of how cold it was inside and our chairs had bird poop on them. Our waitress, Krista, was polite and friendly and would recommend her again.

Just average bar food. It's not horrible but if you're looking for a decent meal, this big chain bar food joint might not be for you.

Fun atmosphere and great pizza. Get there during happy hour and it's half off. I feel like I'm stealing it's so cheap.

Ask the Community - Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern

Are reservations recommended or needed, especially on a Thursday night for dinner?

I have never needed reservations at a Rusty Bucket. You should be able to walk in and get a seat no problem. Their chicken sandwich is awesome btw !

I can't prove this, but I believe they have the largest whisky selection in the city. Hey make a mean fish and chips, and there is even a day of the week you can get it for half-off (shhh). It can get crazy busy, so be prepared for that. We come back way too often!

McClellan's Pub delivered a plate of Fish & Chips so good I briefly considered applying for dual citizenship with Ireland and Great Britain just to honor both sides of the dish. Perfectly crispy, piping hot, and seasoned like the chef whispered sweet nothings to the fryer. The whiskey selection? Huge. Titanic. Practically its own ZIP code. But not a drop of Powers. , A tragedy Shakespeare himself would've rewritten entire scenes for. So, like any self-respecting Irish-at-heart patron, I defaulted to good old Jameson--reliable, comforting, and always there for you, like that one friend who helps you move because they "actually like lifting things." I also grabbed to-go orders for the home tribe: bourbon meatballs, prime rib sliders, and meatloaf. The feedback? Universal acclaim. They devoured everything like I'd brought them a peace offering after years of conflict. If McClellan's ever launches a catering service, entire families could be reunited. The place was packed through Happy Hour and well beyond--apparently, half of Columbus had the same idea. If popularity is a metric of quality, this pub is basically Beyoncé. Temperature-wise? A bit chilly. Could've been the weather... could've been the pub... could've been the frigid realization that they were this close to having my favorite whiskey. Hard to say. Bring a jacket just in case. All in all, McClellan's is a rock-solid choice for hearty pub eats, stellar vibes, and enough whiskey to make you forget they didn't have the one you wanted.

I've had this place bookmarked for a while but never found ourselves in downtown cbus until today…read more We saw a matinee show at the Ohio Theatre (highly recommend) and then walked over to Pat & Gracie's for a late lunch. Arrived approximately 3:30pm - restaurant basically empty (maybe 5 tables total occupied). Went to check in for 2 and the host said he had reservations at 5. Huh? So I asked do you mean you can't seat us until 5? And he said no, that we need to leave by then because other people are coming. I thought that was very weird and unprofessional. I've never had an experience like that before. It's a basic sit down place, why would you think we'd linger for more than an hour and a half? Whatever, weird feeling, but we were seated. Seated in the walkway. Not like in a path but literally blocking the walkway where you step down. Why do I say this? Because people walking by kept banging into me. Not their fault. Why is there a table there? And why were we seated there when at least 80% of the restaurant was empty???? Ok whatever. Ordered food including their signature made in-house tots. Waitress comes back and says they were slammed in the morning and they're out of tots. (Man I feel bad for the people coming at 5. LOL) whatever except the people at the next table appeared to be served tots. Food was tasteless. The Mac and cheese had a weird texture like the roux wasn't cooked properly. My patty melt was mostly bread as the patty was too small for the bread. My husband had the signature chimi burger and it completely lacked any chimichurri flavor. Like at all. We were out by 4ish (plenty of time for them to prepare for their expected onslaught) and needless to say I've unbookmarked this place from my yelp. Maybe we'll try the Mexican place across the street next time. ‍
