The vibes here are fun & great for a date, after work drinks, or getting together with friends. You have to say hi to the moose, and there's always a special or theme for the occasion going on here! There are a ton of amazing drinks here & it's so consistent! The Naturalist is one of the best cucumber cocktails in Columbus hands down; you taste every ingredient in it & it's wildly refreshing! The Ketel Hill is another fantastic cocktail with sweet fruity flavors! I absolutely love the ambiance here and you truly can't beat the quality of their cocktails. Their happy hour is a steal with half off drinks M-F from 3-6. The only downside here is it gets very busy. There are a few tables to sit at with a group, but it fills up fast. There are mostly bar seats, which are at least nice seats. I feel like service can be slow because of the nature of it being a busy spot and everyone ordering craft cocktails. I visited Roosevelt Room in late November and it was very nicely decorated for the holidays. Including tinsel hanging from the ceilings and a moose head on the wall with Christmas ornaments hanging from its antlers. The place itself wasn't very large and was pretty packed when I arrived. For my first drink I ordered a Starry Night. It tasted a lot like an Old Fashioned but with a hint of cinnamon. It was extremely tasty. For my second drink I ordered an Espresso Martini. This place is fun. It's got a speakeasy feeling right in the heart of Dublin in bridge park. It's small so when it's busy it's crowded. The drinks aren't cheap but they are good. We stopped in for a holiday cocktail on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too busy, maybe half full. The bartender took her time coming over to take our order even though she was not terribly busy, and when she did finally wait on us, was very unfriendly. Basically asked us what we wanted and gave us the check, no effort to be pleasant at all. I understand it's a busy time of year and people in the service industry are often overloaded. But it would have taken zero effort to smile and be pleasant, and would have made our visit much more enjoyable. After all, that is her job. A really immaculately decorated place with an upscale theme. I'd like to see more staff and a bit wider range of cocktails, but we'd come back in a heartbeat. We had a really good time here (and it's hard not to take photos here! It looks fantastic!) It's a place to definitely impress, vibe-wise. They don't serve food, but they're surrounded by restaurants within a two block range. I'm not sure what their policy is on bringing in outside food. PROS: -Beautifully, beautifully, BEAUTIFULLY decorated for Christmas in December 2023. I'm hoping this is something they do all the time. -Speaking of, they had a three-drink cocktail menu just for Christmas drinks including alcoholic whipped cream and served in super-cute Christmas mugs. So bonus points for those. -Evcen when it isn't December, the ambiance here is really cool. Think "rich person's mahogany library", and you've pretty much nailed it. From a gigantic moose head to lots of deep browns to well-placed lighting that illuminates the bottles they have in storage, everything here looks very high class. Dim lighting and stained glass helps even more. It doesn't feel "sultry", but it does feel very upscale. -Really lovely variety of seating. They have booths, bar seating, high top tables, low top tables, and some cool half-booths with tiny tables (since you only really need drink space anyway!). -Really well-located if you're in Bridge Park anyway. If you're not in Bridge Park, it's (literally) across the street from a gigantic free parking garage. (Don't drink and drive.) If you want to get dinner before or after, there's also a ton of restaurants within a two block walking range including the Dublin North Market. -Drinks themselves were pretty good! None of the drinks were necessarily "calling out to us", but the ones I got were good enough that we'd definitely go back for a second. The drinks here definitely run a bit more on the "what you'd imagine a President would drink during a high-end business meeting" sippers, which, y'know, is the theme of the place. They might consider a few sweeter/fruitier drinks just to make sure everybody has an option as it sounds like other reviewers also had to ask bartenders to modify the recipes a bit. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off or what, but a single bartender was taking care of the entire establishment on a Sunday. She was really, really friendly when she had the chance to pop in, but she entirely on making drink-after-drink, and I'm not sure what would have happened if I'd seen her run out of something or, god forbid, need to pee. -Presentation on the drinks wasn't amazing, but I'm not sure that's her fault. Oh my goodness, this is not my kinda place. This is a heavily removated, loosely Western themed, cheesy cocktail spot a la Disneyland. I bet they would like to jokingly call themselves a waterin' hole, but really, it's an awkwardly decorated flash mob of middle aged+ wine moms out for an edgy drink outside their luxury condos... and in its mediocrity it does these kind women a disservice. The world has gone absolutely mad, and it is evidenced in hyper commercialized, dead-in-the-eyes locations like this. Went here for happy hour, figure since there is no kitchen they must have amazing cocktails. WRONG....my margarita tasted like a slushee from a gas station. The day we went it was an unusually warm day for February and the breeze felt good so we ended up staying awhile and had my drink been made properly, would have had a few more. Took me two hours to drink the sugar water with no tequila or triple sec. did give a few stars for atmosphere and the fact that you can bring in your own food. It is not a big place, but never seems to be too packed, there is always a table or place to sit at the bar! There are so many different drinks to choose from, an amazing selection! I have been here twice before and have had no issues prior but my most recent trip I had a incorrect bill where I ordered 4 martinis during happy hour ($12 each) but I was charged for $62 (without tip) and didn't realize this until the morning after. Bartenders looked miserable- very unfriendly, unhelpful and looked mad that you were even there. Talked to a friend who had been there earlier in the night and someone else who had been there the day before and they ALL separately mentioned having bad experiences with the staff.
