It's a good chill spot. The bartender are great with a heavy hand if you know what I mean. Nice all day specials and the food is good and at a good price. Now I have only said this one other time. The bathrooms are clean and well lite. Nice touch. Plenty of TV's and good music. The best part for me is that it's not to loud. Just right so you don't have to yell. Wow what a difference a bartender makes, I JUST posted a 5-star review the other day based on prior visits, in anticipation of being there this past weekend. WOW soooo beyond disappointed....went Friday night and it was as always..perfect, with Kai behind the bar. Then we went back Sat and I honestly have never had worse service anywhere. Me my wife and step daughter went up and we usually spend about $100 w/o food and tip 30%. Unfortunately the bartender, Chelsea, was just awful. I get she can't control being slammed and shame on Mgmt for only having 1 bartender and no servers on for the party of like 20 that was there. From the time I asked for another drink, 22 minutes & did NOT get one, 2 people from that party came up to the bar and she got their drinks right away. Completely ignored us.... read more

This little spot on the Northside is such a hidden gem! Great Atmosphere, great bartenders, amazing food. Best tvs around always got all the hot games on. If I could give zero stars I would. The kitchen staff was rude like he hates his job. Food disgusting could've saved my money. And the cherry on top was the duplicate charge days after I was there. No longer in Ohio and they're still charging my card. The bartenders string you along and tell you whatever just so they can hang up the phone. The general manager was extremely rude and unhelpful I see where the kitchen staff gets the nasty attitude from. Next time I'm in town visiting family I know not to go there. I was from out of town looking for a place to chill for halloween unfortunately I picked here because they were having a halloween party with karaoke and I thought it would be fun and I was very wrong! I almost got beat up by a very big man screaming at me at at their halloween party for no reason other then I had said he was sitting in the womans seat next to me who went to the bathroom in his reply was to mind my own fucking business and I said you didnt have to be rude in which he went off in which the managers and bartenders knew him and contiued to serve him while he continued to cause issues in which I guess the manager saw as my fault, I got video's of this dude straight up screaming at me, the bartenders looked dead at me doing nothing and the manager rewarded him with shots. On top of that I saw the same man groping on the bartender while she was in line for the bathroom right in back of me while I was being told he was harmless. I had said I didn't appreciate her still serving him and getting cornered in the hallway with him while he groped you at that point you know something isn't right when instead of seeing how that could turn bad she started talking down to me! I got flagged because I said something smart to a girl beating on the bathroom door and the manager was all about throwing me out. I may not be good looking enough to grope but god forbid if you are because it might not turn out well for you. Not a safe place for women and I'm glad I wasn't alone. I should have left when I realized the manager and the bartender were all drinking pretty heavy. I get it you favor the regulars and you may never see me again but enjoy this well deserved review! If your in Columbus, don't go to Renies Lounge its full of trash and trouble and trouble! read more

Totally remodeled bar tucked in a small strip mall off Karl road. They have an excellent menu with great options. Happy hour specials. A pool table. Smoker area outside that's enclosed and covered. A stage for karaoke and DJ. It can get pretty packed but that's expected for a bar this size. Bathrooms are always kept clean. Overall I'm quite impressed with the makeover this spot was given and how clean it's kept. Menu items are great!!! read more

Best service, food, and drinks hands down for this area! I come to Columbus frequently and every time I stay at the same hotel (which is right by this bar) and I've never heard of Renie's! It's truly a hidden gem. The food is great, they have a large selection of liquor and beer, all decently priced. I will definitely be returning! read more

Great bar! Newly remodeled and it is spectacular! The people are very friendly, the vibe is always good. As far as dive bars this is one of the best. I've been going here for easily over a year and it's a great place to chill...a different vibe and scene from the normal cbus gay crowd. Love it here. Probably some updates will happen since the previous owner sold it but it's still going to be Renie's and I'm pretty happy about that. $2 cuervo shots on Fridays. $1.25 draft Mondays. Other specials throughout the week I cannot remember. I think Wednesday is Captain night. Pretty rockin' if I do say so myself. read more

Saturday Karaoke nights at Renie's are great! Bartenders are always fun and take care of everyone. Nice pool table and patio. They have a great little stage which makes the karaoke feel more intimate and loungie. The karaoke host is helpful,prepared and has a huge selection. Sound is great. Can't ask for much more on karaoke night. They just opened their kitchen as well. Great pub grub as well as more sophisticated selections. read more
