We ordered the Apple Butter chicken sandwich with coleslaw and the Black Garlic Burger with fries. The Apple Butter chicken sandwich was very juicy. The bun to chicken ratio was good. The coleslaw was not too creamy and just had the right amount of vinegar. Black Garlic Chicken was the better of the two. It was full of umami flavor with a juicy patty. The fries were thick and crispy. The seasoning on them put it over the top. Not that I live super far from this restaurant, but for the fries to stay crispy speaks volumes. Can't wait to come dine in at Atlas Tavern.

On this beautiful sunny day in Uptown Westerville, we decided to have lunch out on the patio at…read moreJimmy V's Grill & Pub, and it turned into a really enjoyable afternoon. First off, the patio atmosphere here is fantastic. Bright red umbrellas, string lights overhead, tropical plants, and even a really cool wall fountain feature give the space a relaxed vacation-like feel right in the middle of Uptown. On a day like today, it was honestly hard to leave. Jillian took great care of us throughout lunch. She was friendly, attentive without hovering, and you could genuinely tell she enjoys what she does. There was an enthusiasm and positive energy about her service that helped make the whole experience even better. She brought a warmth and enthusiasm to the table that fit perfectly with the relaxed patio atmosphere. We ordered the Reuben along with the Philly Steak Panini. Both sandwiches were excellent. The Reuben had nicely toasted rye bread with plenty of corned beef, sauerkraut, melted Swiss, and dressing flowing together exactly the way you want a good Reuben to be. The Philly Steak Panini was loaded with steak, peppers, onions, melted cheese, and perfectly pressed bread with great texture and flavor. Even the fries were cooked well with a nice crisp exterior. One thing we appreciate about Jimmy V's is that we've had many enjoyable visits here over the years. Today was simply another reminder of why this continues to be a favorite Uptown Westerville stop for us. Good food, a relaxing atmosphere, and a place that people clearly enjoy gathering with family and friends. Jimmy V's Grill & Pub 1 S State St Westerville, OH 43081

For 4 of us, we waited maybe 5 minutes and got seated near the back, a row away from the fence. The music/band simply wasn't loud enough. We could recognize the songs but couldn't make out any of the vocals. I'm not sure if they need to adhere to a noise ordinance or not. Or if the band decided to keep the volume down. But the bottom line is that if you're there to see and hear the live music, you'll need to either stand or find a table closer to the stage. To make matters worse, there was a group of about 15 people next to us. Children included. They were really loud and kept standing around us, bumping into our chairs, etc. Since the music wasn't very loud, their shouting drowned it out. It wasn't a good live music experience. The service and the food is ok. I got a burger. It was really good. My wife got a chicken sandwich but the chicken was a bit rubbery. Maybe not quite done? The others liked their food. The fries were good. I'm not sure if we'll be back. We like to be able to sit, but we also want to be able to hear the band. If the volume can be turned up, they should do it.
