Wanna get smashed? Of course I did when I was in Columbus and Smash Park fit the bill. It's in Westerville, OH in an industrial park/hotel area off the beaten path, but it was a good time. There a quite a few bars and seating areas strewn about the facility, and depending on your reason for going. Food wise, the catering wasn't all that great. Admiringly, there were a lot more people at the event than were anticipated. I was lucky enough to get some food and it was food. That's about all I can say. The bartenders were absolutely crushing it! They were taking care of people left and right and if one wasn't serving me, another one was asking me if I needed anything. That's service! I felt seen for once... The main reason for this place is the games... they have a small arcade, and area for corn hole, and indoor pickleball courts... which was all great in the winter when it was 0 degrees outside. read more

Smash park offers so many fun activities suitable for adults and kids alike. I like that you can reserve time on the app ahead of time so you're not waiting and the price per activity is reasonable. There's a huge outdoor area with a ton of activities and seating to eat, take a break and hangout. I wish they would improve the food experience. I've eaten here a few times and the food isn't great. When I went last night we got the Birria Nachos and the beef was inedible it was so fatty and chewy. The drinks are good & decent price- good selection. Been here twice now and both times had great service and good food. First visit was for a bday party with darts and pickle ball, second was for karaoke. The facility is enormous with outside courts, cornhole, mini bowling, an arcade and large bar area with ample seating. Even though it's a bar there are always so many children running around so be prepared you're not just going to a "bar". Similar to Pins if you've been there, except activities are a little more separated and I think it might be larger because they have the outside areas as well. This was my first time here at Smash Park. I'm in Columbus so it was a good 30 minute drive. First thing I realized was that Smash Park is huge. We were welcomed coming in and shown where to go. The parking lot was full so that's a good sign. People are interested in spending time here. Our event was upstairs in a large room with 15 tvs. I'm deaf...none with closed captions but then again I wasn't there to watch tv. A buffet was set up and I had the Mac and cheese and wings. Every one enjoyed the Mac and cheese. You can't go wrong with them. My favorite go to are wings. These wings were a bit drier than I would have liked. They might have been overcooked a bit. But a few sauces were provided. For dessert we had s'mores. Can't go wrong with that. The place is well kept and the workers were very attentive to our needs. We played darts and that turned out to be fun. They have a good automated dart system. Then we played corn hole. Another fun game. We didn't get a chance to play ax because our time limit expired. We had a good time overall. We didn't get a chance to see everything so we want to come back for a play date. I'm glad we went to see what Smash Park was all about. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I visited Smash Park during their Open Hour today and was completely impressed by everything they have to offer. First, let's talk prices--super reasonable for the amount of fun you get. Their Happy Hour is already on my list to come back for: Monday through Friday from 2-6 pm with $4 bites and $4 drinks. The food comes from a scratch-made kitchen and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Dip--it's creamy, tangy, loaded with smoked chicken, and finished with blue cheese and green onions. The flavors were balanced and delicious without being overwhelming. We also got to sample several items from their catering menu, which was a great bonus. As for entertainment, Smash Park has it all: virtual axe throwing, darts with a digital scoreboard, cornhole, bocce ball, cyber shuffle that tracks multiple games, indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, an arcade, duckpin bowling, and even a karaoke room. And a special shoutout--make sure you look out for Alexa and Christie. Their customer service was absolutely impeccable and really made the experience stand out even more. We finally had a chance to check out this new place we heard so much about. We were a little pressed for time so we didn't get to play any games. Surprisingly the menu had a lot to offer more than we had anticipated. Initially, things started out a little rocky because they got my order wrong. They sent my plate back and re-cooked my order, only for it to come out undercooked. I was a little disappointed to say the least, but I managed to at least eat half of the properly cooked portion of my meal, which was actually pretty decent. The manager and our waitress were very hospitable, and super apologetic about the multiple issues. They comped my meal, gave me a free appetizer, and gave us all free game play cards. Went here to eat after our pickleball time. The pickleball courts were great and reasonably priced. Ate afterwards. Service was decent. They have $4 apps for happy hour but felt like they were small portions so we opted for the regular menu. Got the chicken sandwich (it was ok, not as crispy or breaded like the picture), loaded nachos were ok, pulled pork was average on them and some of the chips were burnt. The avocado toast was good and the garlic fries were good. Daughter loved the bao chicken. Came in for the first time on a whim! Wasn't planning on eating but there were no available reservations for 5 hours so we grabbed a bite and some mocktails and hit the arcade! We came for happy hour/dinner and waited 15 minutes before a server came to our table. Once there, she was friendly although she wasn't sure what the happy hour specials included. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The boneless wings and pretzel bites seemed cooked from frozen. Special shout out to the sweet potato fries though. Those were really yummy. Went to Smash Park last night for a birthday celebration with a pretty large group, and overall we had a really great time. Considering the size of our party, the service was impressive--our waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and everything came out in a timely manner. The food tasted fresh, and there was plenty to do, which made the whole experience fun and engaging. No complaints at all on that side. The only thing that stood out (and honestly felt a bit odd) was my experience with the drinks. I ordered a lemon drop after seeing others served in martini glasses, so I expected something similar. Instead, mine came in a different glass--and what made it more confusing was that it was only about half full. There wasn't any explanation given, like running out of the proper glassware or a difference in how it's served, it was just dropped off as-is. Even if that was technically the correct pour, the presentation made it feel like I was getting less than I should have, especially given the larger glass it was served in. I didn't make a big deal about it at the time, but it definitely felt off. If there's a reason for a different presentation, it would go a long way for staff to communicate that. Otherwise, it just comes across as inconsistent. Overall, still a fun spot with great service and atmosphere--just hoping for a little more consistency (or communication) when it comes to the drinks. read more

When it's dreary out, there's a perfect place in Westerville for you to get in a game of pickleball, sing some karaoke, play some duckpin or arcade games, or even try your arm out with axe throwing and darts. Along with a relaxing vibe and plenty of space to spread out, there's also some pretty yummy grub and delicious drinks you can take throughout the venue. I saw some private areas for your next large gathering or work bonding event too. The wait staff and workers there were really friendly and plentiful...One was always around to help you with another round or steer you in the right direction (since it's quite a large space). I'm actually looking forward to my next visit when the weather turns nice and I get to see their outdoor patios and courts too. The good is excellent and well priced in comparison to other places that don't have everything It offers. We had nachos, wings which were top notch asking with a few other things that hit the spot. Directly from the dishwasher to your hand. I do not enjoy warm beer personally. Games: The app they pushed on us did not work. The payment system at the counter did not work. We got to spend a half hour on app, in lines, and asking questions. They also request a tip at checkout - then you go find the game and play without anyone helping you. Service: People seem nice (waiter/bartender/front), but can't solve the overall disfunction of the place. Cleanliness: No issues, everything seemed clean. I have zero plans to come back here. I sat at the bar for quite a while, clearly waiting to be served, while multiple people who came in after me were greeted and had their orders taken right away. Despite making eye contact several times, the bartender completely skipped over me. After waiting and being passed over again, I decided to just walk out. Disappointed. I reached out via the contact form on the website and have not heard from anyone. I booked 2 hours from 6-8 pm of the advertised "glow pickle ball" for NYE with 3 others. When we got there, we had to ask them to turn the glow lights on, stating they were too busy and must have forget. The lights were turned all the way back on at 7:30 before our reservation was over & tv's were blasted at full volume. We ended up having an hour out of the two hours of glow pickle ball we booked when it was advertised in all emails "glowin' from 6-9PM. As we packed to leave we noticed glow sticks and headbands left on the table nearby us that must have been dropped off to us, but nothing was mentioned. Again, highly disappointed, especially for a place we have regularly given our business to at $30 an hour to use the courts. I just don't plan to be back. read more
