First visit. Nice open bright space with lots of natural light. Outside the windows and patio doors there's lots of greenery, which adds to the vibe. The place is airliner themed m, which is fun. There's a sort of diorama behind the bar of a plane flying over mountains, airplane window diagrams, and they give you "flight snacks" when you order a flight! Fun! They're part of the Seventh Son Brewing group and they have their own beers as well as some from Seventh Son and Antiques on High. The getaway beers were lower in abv and tended to be lagers and pilsners, although they had a delicious porter on tap - all roasty and bitter chocolate. Food was great! I had baked wings and Neapolitan style pizza. The wings were seasoned really well and not mushy, as can happen with baked wings. The pizza has a nice chewy crust and tasty toppings. This brewery has a quick fire pizza place inside called Pizza Box. Here you can get one of 12 pizzas with a Neapolin or Detroit style crust. Happy hour until 6:30 and a charcuterie vending machine. We sampled beers made by Getsway and Swventh Son and the white veggie pizza. I ordered the Sunlit Shores, their version of a margarita. Next time I will.order the weekend jaunt for a pina colada experience. Free parking in the lot across from the library. Or the garage next to Gateway. Bring your ticket for validation. We sat at the bar and had interactions with every bar tender. The pizzacame out in about 30 minutes. The pizza was cooked more well down than I typically like. We will return! read more

First time here last night. There's garage parking very close. The place is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Along with the bar, there are tables/chairs in the dining area, in the sunroom, and on the patio. The staff was great; Peyton "P" and Valentino "Tino" were so personable they made me want to return. This place is a hidden gem in Dublin. I parked next to it in a garage and kept my parking pass with me. Getaway validates your parking so you don't have to pay to park. I did get lost in the parking garage and went down to Level 1. FYI: You have to go to Level 5 to exit into the street level. First impressions: It's so clean and has a nice welcoming energy to it. As soon as I walked in, I noticed all the plants: some were hanging and many were near the windows throughout the whole place. They were real and very healthy. Someone who works here must have a green thumb. There were many tables and chairs, a long bar and a separate area for private parties. There is a QR code to order at our table but I ordered from the bar because it was not too busy. My bartender was very friendly. She acknowledged me right away, and came to take my order as soon as she could. I ordered the margarita but all the cocktails looked so good. The decor behind the bar was beautiful! It was a long picture of a runway with a plane taking off. There were also airplane windows that were so cute and went with the whole airport theme. I came up later to order shots for our table. The same bartender once again helped me find the right shot for my friends . I also tried the Kitty Paw hard Steltzer drink. It was refreshing and I loved the hint of Guava. The whole place wasn't too loud. We could carry on our conversations without shouting. They had an etagere near our table full of board and card games. My friends grabbed the Truth or Fear game. They even have air plane windows towards the bathrooms that have tiny tiny items that someone made. Very creative! I'm not sure if they're a well-known place yet but it never got packed inside. We sat at the bar and a bartender asked if we had questions on the menu. Can't remember what we had but we both liked our drinks! They also have non-beer alcohol if beer isn't your thing. I didn't pay much for my beer. Under $6. Not sure if it was an HH special or the usual price. They don't have food here, but you can order food and bring it in. There's a vending machine with charcuterie but I didn't really see anyone go over to it. It's kinda pricey. They do validate parking if you parked in the garage next door! This is going up there as one of the top brewery/cocktail spots in Columbus for me - ESPECIALLY during daylight hours. Their gigantic sunroom lets in SO much beautiful natural light that it's impossible to not feel at home here during the day. Add that to the fireplace they added to the sunroom, and I think I might have a hard time leaving. PROS: -THIS PLACE IS GORGEOUS. For a photographer, literally everything about this place and its natural light is next-level. Everything looks so bright and pretty during the daylight. This sunroom overlooks the nearby forest and gorge, and it feels like you're outdoors without the actual outdoors part. I love it. (For people who don't necessarily love the sun, my tablemates were impressed by the Southwestern/Adobe vibe of the place.) -Everything we ordered was delicious. Their cocktails are well-mixed (and decently to heavily poured), and they have some great flavor to them. I loved some of the Tequila/Mezcal vibes. -They even have some great mocktail and non-alcoholic beer options for people who weren't drinking. Nobody felt left out here. -No blasting music that made it hard to hear or talk. Other conversations got a bit loud around us, but we weren't fighting music - just a busy establishment. I really appreciate that here. -Super friendly service. SUPER friendly service. They were really knowledgeable about their drinks, joking around with us and each other, and offering help at pretty much every turn. They didn't even bat an eye when we wanted to stay longer and started a whole new tab again. -They took a "DIY Food" approach at Getaway, and it works for them. You won't find meal-level portions/fulfillment here, but if you've had some alcohol and want to munchie on things, you're going to be happy. First off, they have the Charcuterie Vending Machine - which is exactly how it sounds. They have pre-packaged meats, cheeses, jams, and crackers in this machine, and you can buy what you want and make your own Charcuterie board with the provided plates and silverware. It'll probably cost more than buying a Charcuterie board at most places, but you'll only have the meats and cheeses you actually want - and bigger portions of them. (All the expiration dates I could read through the machine were months in the future, so A+ there.) Second, they have pre-packaged S'mores kits you can buy. If you let them know, they'll bring a small fire to your table so you and your tablemates can roast S'mores with your drinks. Seriously adorable, and I can't wait to try this in the future. -Tons of different seating. They have high-top bar seating, regular tables and chairs, couches, and armchairs. I'd probably prefer a few more armchairs (just 2, I think, in the whole place), but they have a range of seating that you'll probably find something comfy. CONS: -I really have pretty much nothing. If I *had* to nitpick, it was 50 degrees out, and they had one of the doors open. It made it super cold in one spot of the brewery, but the rest of the room was fine (and they had the fireplace on). I love this bar! It's super chill and not too loud like other bars in the area. There is plenty of seating and I really like how there are board games that are free for customers to use. The flavor is very unique as it have combination of both coffee and tea, along with pineapple juice, coconut cream and lime. I like that there's a green room and the main part of the bar- the main area has more of a classic bar feel but the green room feels like you brought the gals over for afternoon tea but then drank the night away for cute cocktails. First off, the beers. They are more than "just another brewery." Clearly, after Seventh Son and Antiques on High, this latest concept is just as much "the vibe" as it is on "good examples of styles." The worst beer I had was the one with orange blossom - but that's not saying much, overall their beers were great. Their cocktail list is really nice and special shout out to Steve who was awesome at explaining the drinks, the Getaway, the decor is everything! Feels like you are waiting for your flight (of beer?) at some airport Terminal. Ambiance and decor is spot on with the vibe they are looking for--no food but they allow you to order delivery from neighboring restaurants for your food fix and location is perfect for grabbing food and bringing in while you sip. Gateway is a really fun place to come during the summer -- the ambience gives off a tropical and fun vibe (a pity Dublin doesn't have a beach close by ). Nestled right next to a wooded area, so even though you're on a main street, sitting in their enclosed "sunroom" area, you feel like you're enjoying a relaxed brew "deep in the forest." What a refreshing, convenient, welcoming find after a long(ish), HOT walk through Indian Run Falls Park and the N. High St. area. No trouble finding a place to sit, great service at the bar, and plenty of reasonably priced brews, wines, and cocktails. No food, but they've got menus from a couple of local restaurants, and we saw quite a few people enjoying their late lunch/early dinners at about 4-5pm. The Mr. was happy with the IPA's he ordered, and my fruit-flavored sour was good as well. I loved the travel-themed decor, and comfy seating options available. This place is a short walk across the Bridgepark bridge. It's perfect for a happy hour, or a before/after dinner hangout. It offers local brews, & fun cocktails. The stout I picked was called the Boiler Fixer - super sweet and substantial - probably a good dessert sipper. It had that decadent dark chocolate feel with a heavy sweetness that is almost cloying if not for that slight bitter and hoppy finish. I enjoyed it ok, but will probably try something else next time. Their ambiance changes as you move through the space. In their greenhouse room, the plants and open windows give you that Floridian feel. I think they utilize it as more a special events space. While the bar area reminded me of my last airport lounge experience - In the best way. It's that same relaxed carefree vibe you get when you're all checked in and through security, have an hour to kill bf boarding your flight to that tropical island. Came in on a Tuesday evening and bellied up to the bar. $5 pints until 7, so I had 1....then 2....then 3. Have no idea what I was drinking, but asked the bartender for a west coast IPA and he delivered. Three times. All were very tasty. Got into a conversation about music, jazz and blues. The bartender is a bass player and mixes up a dynamite slurry of blues before they open, but the owner demands something more contemporary when the doors are open, so I left.
