I'm giving this 3 stars because it's just sooo big. There is just sooo much happening here. Sooo much bigger than I expected. Went here for a 50th birthday party. They had a great selection. See pic for that. I did not get a chance to try the food. But I saw plenty of empty dishes. But I don't think this place is known for the food. This place is all about beer, games, and more beers. Then every once in a while you get a glimpse of some sport being played on TV. read more

There's really nothing to NOT like about this place. It's a bar with two sides: one has arcade style games and the other has duck pin bowling, table tennis, corn hole, etc. The arcade games are free to play. Yes: free. I see complaints about drink prices, but it's a bar with free arcade games, so that's factored into the costs of the drinks. You can bring those under 16 until 9pm, but on a weeknight they were not enforcing that strictly. They have all the classic arcade games and a permanent board with the high scores by each game. A fun way to spend an evening. read more

I've been here several times, and it's always a good time. We came to Pins for a friend's birthday party which she had booked, and it was a mess! There were people in our reserved area and people bowling in our reserved lane for about an hour of the time we had reserved. We had to wait for a manager to tell them to leave. Why did they overbook things? The drinks were great and we had fun hanging out, but the other patrons were very rude and were constantly getting in our reserved area and bringing their kids into it as well. read more

My first time to experience Pins for a guys night out to catch up with my buddies. We went on a Thursday early evening and it was super busy with corporate parties and youth parties. Seems like a great place to host a birthday pizza party. Many people had catered food in to the venue. This place is loud so it isn't the best place to try to have a conversation. But if you are looking for a wide assortment of games and activities, this is the place. We played 3 rounds of Duck Pin Bowling. Similar to normal bowling but also very different. We had a good time and didn't have very much of a wait time between rounds. Overall it was a fun night, but I couldn't imagine this place on the weekend. It would be way too busy for me. read more

Pins in Dublin is a fun place to get together with friends or family for fun games, yummy snacks and delicious drinks! They have a variety of games, from iconic arcade games, giant pong, duckpins, Jenga and many more! Some of the games are free or super cheap (25-50¢). The duck pins is $7-9 a person per game. The service at the bar was pretty good, considering how busy it was. You can expect this place to get packed on the weekends, especially with large birthday parties. It does become 21+ after 9pm which is nice! We had a really fun time here at night and there were some super yummy cocktails and late night slices! read more

Fun place for drinks and to celebrate holidays. My family rented out a small section for my brothers grad party a few years ago and although they don't offer any food (you have to cater your own) they did a great job catering to all our guests drink orders! My only complaint is how busy it gets on the weekends. It's almost impossible to find a place to sit or to be able to play any games without a super long wait. The cocktails, although usually quite good are very expensive. I recommend getting a pitcher and splitting it with friends. read more

What a fun spot Pins Mechanical is! For all ages, but probably more so for adults in the evening and night hours, this place will provide hours of entertainment. We came with kids in the afternoon and then returned as just adults later at night - fun was had by all! The kids liked the duck bowling, ping pong, and games and the adults liked the same plus the drinks. Point to note: they have a bar but it's BYOF (bring your own food). Which is inconvenient but totally fine. The drinks are delicious and there are plenty of tables where you can setup to chow down. The design and flow of the whole place is well done and the staff is very friendly. We spent hours and hours here and honestly didn't want to leave, it's that fun! What added to the enjoyment was the fact that it's connected to 16-bit Bar+Arcade which provides even MORE options of a good time! If you want a hangout spot for young and old then you must check out Pins. You won't regret it! read more

Love this place! For both family and dates nights. I love how it is family friendly during the day and then caters to adults at night. Duckpin bowling is fun but can up up to a 2-2 1/2 hours wait on weekends to get a lane. Lots of pinball machines that cost 1.00 per game. You must also schedule time to rent and play ping pong, bocce ball, etc. they have lots of TVs and big screens for sports. They do not have food but you can bring food in from outside restaurants and on the weekends they have a food truck outside. read more

WOW, WOW, WOW! This was my very first time being to any pins in the Columbus area & I was beyond shocked to say the least. My friends & I needed a little change of scenery and a night out so this was our decision. I absolutely love the Bridge Park area for one and I had no idea how BIG this pins location was. I first walked in & it was definitely packed (a Saturday night) so I was expecting it. We immediately went up to the bar & ordered some of their signature cocktails. I thought they all were delicious, the prices are definitely up there if you drink several cocktails in one night. Same goes for the beer though, $8 for a short & $11 for a tall. I will say that is the only thing that I did not like but who likes spending a ton of money. That is our fault for ordering several drinks. All of the arcade machines are free to play. The pinball costs money and make sure to bring cash! They are cashless besides the pinball machines which I wish I would of known before going. We had about an hour & a half wait to play the actual pins but it wasn't too bad because they have so much to do at this location. They also have "Weenie Wonder" in the middle of everything if you get hungry. I know I definitely will be coming back very soon. The atmosphere is very enjoyable!! read more

We had a great time! We had a company event and rented two of the bowling lanes. Our server Kaedyn was fantastic. She was super attentive and really helpful. We were there on a Sunday evening, so they didn't have a lot of bartenders, but the one that helped us, Jonny, crushed it and the drinks were great. We have been coming here since we moved to Dublin a couple months ago. It's a really fun place located right in Bridge Park. Sometimes we like to do the duckpin bowling, others we play the arcade games or even just grab a drink. Went there yesterday despite the cooler weather and still had a really great energy and was a fun time! Also, really like that it's connected to weenie wonder, we love their french fries! After a few rounds of bowling, we went over there and got a little snack, and then we were able to go back and play some of the arcade games. We will be back! read more

I've been to two private events at Pins Mechanical and it's super nice. Guests get a wristband to let the bar know their drinks are paid for, and bartenders come by the tables periodically to take drink orders too. They have a good number of taps including seasonal and local beers, plus some good signature cocktails. Big fan of the pistachio old fashioned! The venue allows outside food which is great, but there's also a hot dog joint attached to the building if you need a snack or a meal. Parking is free at the garage across the street. read more

A friend and I were in the area and decided to visit the Dublin location of PINS. It had been a minute since I'd been to the one downtown so, why not? It was a Saturday night and the place was absolutely packed. The only games we even had a chance to play were some of the arcade games. A 2-3 hour wait didn't seem feasible, but I got it. We arrived at prime time. While we were there we ordered cocktails off their menu and when we got the receipt it was $37...Holy cow! Those drinks were nowhere good enough to end up costing us $17 a piece. I'd come back but only during the week when (fingers crossed) it's not as crowded. We went on a Friday around 4:30pm. It was something to do with my whole family and the wide age range of my three kids. The cocktails and beers were delicious and reasonable. Happy hour helped! My only complaint is I wish pins offered food. Yes weenie wonder is there but the food doesn't fit the bill for everyone. Prob should have checked into one of food delivery options. At least Pins offers beverages for all ages. Drinkers and non-drinkers awake. It was a nice touch having cokes for my high schooler and slushies for the elementary kids. Unfortunate but true decline of my Pins review. This place has the ability to be cool but several things knock it down a few pegs. For example.. children. Don't get me wrong, i love kids. But if i wanted to be surrounded by over 40 children on a Saturday night at 7PM I would go to a school play. I get it. Pins is fun. But the cut off for kids on weekends should be earlier. Point blank. This is a bar. Alcohol, people. No place for me to be bobbing and weaving through thralls of children at 7:00pm on a Saturday night. Secondly. It's busy. Totes get it. We signed up for duckpin bowling under the premise of a 2.5 hour wait. So we waited. Two hours. Once we got up there and we settled in, we had a staff member come over and tell us we needed to move over in order to share the space with the lane next to us. Okay! 100% valid. We moved over. Five minutes later the people on the other side overtake our side, yet did they get told to move?? Nerp. THIRDLY. During our SECOND FRAME a pin broke off the string. Instead of coming to fix it and apologize, the worker came over, fixed it, and then berated us for "throwing the ball too hard". A) We've been playing for literally 5 minutes and no, we weren't throwing the ball at 200mph, don't you think it could just be wear and tear, B) what the heck kind of customer service is that. This place is surrounded by places to eat, a north market and more. There are a lot of fun and unique games there too. The drinks are all unique and fun. My favorite is the Carrie Fisher which has a bit of sweet and sour vibes and the berry old fashioned had great flavor too. This Pins is fantastic! We got a lane on a busy evening as soon as we walked in. The vibe was pretty electric, lots of people hanging out for happy hour, it really felt like the coolest place to be. We had a waitress for our table while we played Pins and she was very quick and attentive for how busy the place was (props to the fast bartender too!). In the middle of our game we all took a break to grab Weenie Wonder. It's right next door in the same building which was super convenient. Afterwards we ventured further down past Weenie Wonder and played some games at 16 bit, which is also connected to pins. If you're on a mission for fun, this place sets you up for success! read more

I can see how this would be enjoyable with a group looking for something to do. No food, overrated cocktails and just not our scene. Kicker was the gift certificate we got from office expired on 3/31. We were there on 4/4. No customer service and they would not honor it!!! Just a little gesture to accept it 4 days later. Truthfully I prefer the downtown Columbus location of Pins Mechanical - it simply has a better feel in my opinion. I'll have to go and review that one. That being said, this Pins location has a narrow but very long open outside "patio" like area facing the west looking toward the river. Nice to view the sunset there during a summer afternoon. If you haven't tried "Duckpin Bowling" here's your chance! The pins are arranged in a triangle just like 10-pin bowling. However the pins are smaller in duckpin as well as the balls being smaller. Lanes are shorter too. This Pins Mechanical location has a bevy of pinball machines, arcade machines are nearby AND indoor lawn bowling. A fully stocked bar is on hand so that should make for fun times if you're looking for that sort of acton and some big screen TVs are available. read more
