This is just an extension of the Pizza Twist location. They now offer some more traditional dishes offerings. The pricing are pretty solid. I got the larger combo that comes with two curry options, rice, choice of butter or garlic naan, raita and a sweet treat. I got mine to go and it was served in a conveniently divided tray that allowed for everything to be self contained. The food was good, service was fast and easy and the location has plenty of room for larger parties. I came late and it was still slightly busy. I do wish the naan was a little thicker. This was a very thin naan in comparison to the several places I've been to before. I got the garlic naan and I personally feel it needs more garlic to it, there was garlic on it but it didn't really have that garlicky pop to it. Also, the Raita was super heavy on the cucumber flavor. (I'm not an expert on proper raita, but others I have seemed more balanced and what I've read about). It wasn't bad because I don't mind cucumber, but the cucumber really overpowered the other flavors there. Other than that, everything was great, I got the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala this go around. The staff was friendly and quick to take care of customers. I'll def be back to try some different offerings.

Never judge a book by its cover! The food here is fantastic even though it's in an old strip mall and shares its space with a pizza place. They have one of my favorites the pani poori crispy shells filled with goodness. Also some pretty good Butter Chicken and rice. I'll be back....

The food was top-notch. I had pizza and chicken wings that were juicy and crispy. The Indian cuisine was also amazing.

Pro tip: don't order your go-to Indian dishes. 7-Spices' strong suit are South Indian specialties, such as dosas and biriyani. I've ordered takeout twice and dined in once. The Vijawada Chicken Biriyani is a must order. You can order different spice levels, but the very hot will give you a run for your money in the best possible way. I'm also a huge fan of the Masala Dosa. The Chicken 65 appetizer is also a great way to start the meal. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala once and while it was good, there wasn't much chicken in the dish and compared to 7-Spices' other offerings, it felt lackluster. Overall, I highly recommend 7-Spices if you want to try new Indian dishes. I will definitely be back!

I liked the decor but it felt a bit sparse in there. This might be some of the best gobi Manchurian in the greater Reno area. The seven spice chicken was pretty good but nothing spectacular (like the gobi). Another slight miss for me was the stuffed pepper dish, mirchi. I liked it but why was there no sauce that comes with it? We did ask for sauce and were obliged with a good coconut sauce but it's like why didn't it come with in the first place Also- the cocktails looked good, but the term taphouse is used pretty loosely here

My kids came with this time and enjoyed the pineapple shrimp curry and the mango curry (I forget…read morethe unique name of the mango dish but on the menu it had a crown icon and was not the mango one with the basil)-- both entrees were ordered in mild. These flavors were completely new to me, I've never had curries from an Indian restaurant that tasted like these. The pineapple curry was sweet but a little tangy and reminded me a bit of Thai curry (perhaps turmeric was really elevated in this curry?). The mango curry was also very sweet, it almost tasted like a sweetened butter chicken curry (specifically the northern Indian version of butter chicken-- if you know, you know). My son said the sweet flavor of the mango chicken curry reminded him of orange chicken from Chinese takeout and funny enough I thought it actually kinda did too! While these dishes were a hit with the kids (ages 7, 5, and 2) most adult tastebuds would prefer ordering them with at least some spice to balance out the intense sweetness (otherwise it can just seem "1 note"-- but 1 note "mild" was absolutely perfect for our young children who find even ground black pepper to be "spicy" haha). Maharaja Royal Bites, you just keep impressing me! I'm super happy we found these kid friendly options in your menu. Oh, ps, the kids LOVED their fried chicken appetizer too! Yelpers, ahelpful tip, we've noticed that here a "mild" spicy level can vary based on the dish. Sometimes it means literally no spice (like in the kid-friendly pineapple shrimp and mango curry) and other times we have found that it meant "yes, there is spice, and it's certainly more noticeable than black-- or even white ground-- pepper).

It is popular with an acquaintance of mine. So when I drove by this location in Victorian Square that name struck a bell and sure enough it's one in same. My friends and I arrived early for dinner on a Saturday night and we were glad we did because the restaurant began to fill up shortly after. Our waiter was very welcoming and led us through the menu and really spent time explaining it. It's a very broad menu with so much to choose from. We all were excited to try this place for a while now and it will prove itself. The three of us each chose a dish and shared them around the table. We began with the Samosa Plate. Two pastries filled with potatoes and peas, they were done in a chickpea and tamarind sauce, very tasty ; but we wished there was one more. So , my brave friend Jim chose Goat Curry, which I was skeptical of , Not a meat I'm at all familiar with, but what the heck, being adventurous here. His wife Marty chose a favorite of hers, Palak Paneer and I chose Butter Chicken. As we passed each around the table and piled on the fluffy basmati rice we began tasting each and we were finding everything to be delicious. I'll admit that my first try of the goat wasn't a Yummy moment but I did try another bite again later. The flavors of the other two dishes were perfect though. We also ordered garlic Naan which in my opinion could have been more garlicky but it was fluffy and good. The interior is very subtle in decor, but nice. I would suggest some art on the walls, maybe some of the beautiful colors found in India, but that's only my observation as an amateur interior designer. Our waiter continued to provide good service and all of us left the restaurant saying how much we liked it and would definitely return. I welcome them to Sparks and wish them great success.

We started with the Samosa Plate app and shared the Taj Mahal Lager as it was a 24oz bottle. Entrees were the Butter Chicken and Karahi Paneer! All of it was fantastic! I really hope more people who haven't been there will try it. I look forward to frequenting Clay Oven.

Thankfully, Yelp led me to this convenient haven of flavor, and we finally got to try it last week with a takeout order. We ordered the chicken tikka, chana masala, garlic naan, and samosas. Everything was absolutely delicious! They gave us plenty of rice, and the garlic naan was plentiful and only $2--such a great deal. My only small complaint is that the samosas were covered in chana masala, which made them a bit soupy. It was still tasty, but I would have preferred plain samosas, which I didn't see as an option on the menu. Ordering online was super easy, and the food was ready in just 15 minutes. Bonus points for the gas station itself being clean and offering a large selection of snacks and drinks. I'll definitely be back for more!
