Saw a movie at the Legends, never get those two hours back. But the day was saved by an incredible coconut chicken korma at 7-Spices! We also had butter naan and chicken corn soup. Service was excellent by two servers. They suggested medium spice level which was perfect. The korma was great on flavor and not just with the amount of hot peppers. The blend of spices in the korma was very tasty. The chicken corn soup in a broth with fresh corn, which was the thing that made it stand out. The naan was hot off the stove, crispy, toasted and buttery. Located at The Legends it is a large space with lots of seating. Definitely worth a visit.

7-Spices is hands-down my new favorite spot for Indian food in Reno. 7-Spices has a diverse menu, including dosas, biriyani, Indo-Chinese dishes, and the typical food you'd expect from an Indian restaurant. Pro tip: don't order your go-to Indian dishes. 7-Spices' strong suit are South Indian specialties, such as dosas and biriyani. I've ordered takeout twice and dined in once. The Vijawada Chicken Biriyani is a must order. You can order different spice levels, but the very hot will give you a run for your money in the best possible way. I'm also a huge fan of the Masala Dosa. The Chicken 65 appetizer is also a great way to start the meal. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala once and while it was good, there wasn't much chicken in the dish and compared to 7-Spices' other offerings, it felt lackluster. Overall, I highly recommend 7-Spices if you want to try new Indian dishes. I will definitely be back!

Stopped in after a movie for a light dinner. We got the Garlic Naan, Chana Masala, and some Chicken Sukka. It comes with a small bowl of rice. We got the Chana with medium spice and it wasn't that spicey, just a little kick. We will try a little hotter next time. The flavor was good. We tried the Hicken Sukka for the first time and we really enjoyed it. Good flavor and not deep fried. The Garlic Naan was okay, a Lil burnt and not enough garlic this time around. The service is great and the atmosphere is great too, plenty of space, not loud, nice and relaxing, with comfortable seating, we had a booth.

Where is the chicken?!? A $35 dollars of family pack will get you all rice and very little protein. This restaurant is a scam!

Ordered the vijayawada biryani family pack and what a disappointment! There is a mountain of rice and a few crumbs of chicken. We felt like we are paying for a big rice cooker of rice with no protein. Granted that I used the $10 coupon given to me, maybe that's why there is hardly any chicken in the biryani. You guys need to do better. Don't advertise a family pack and filled it with all rice and no protein. Or Just do a well balanced of protein and rice and charge more. If I did not live far, I would have driven back and return this and want my money back. Who would have thought that you are just buying rice on the biryani dishes. I will tell all my friends to stay away!

I came here for lunch with my husband after a movie date at the legends mall. They weren't too busy. The place is pretty spacious. I had the aloo gobi. My husband always gets the same thing. His favorite chicken vindaloo. We tried two different naan breads. The fire naan was so spicy but still good I couldn't stop eating it.

Stopped after a movie matinee and enjoyed everything we ordered - tough choices as the menu options all sounded great. Bright, airy welcoming interior and outside seating as well. Nice & attentive hostess was also our server. Enjoyed Mirchi Bajji (stuffed & fried peppers), baby corn Manchurian, and cilantro dosa. Everything was fresh & delicious! Looking forward to a return visit to sample more of their offerings!

My goal is to be fair and specific, and this one lands right in the middle for me. The food overall was very good. The goat biryani was flavorful and well cooked, the tandoori chicken was juicy and had a nice char, and both the butter chicken and tikka masala were rich, comforting, and satisfying. Those dishes are the main reason I'd still recommend this place. That said, a few things brought the experience down. I ordered a masala tea and was surprised to see the cup filled just a little over halfway. I asked the server if that was because refills were offered, and she said no, that's just how they usually serve it. We also ordered the gobi Manchurian, and that was another letdown. It felt underserved with onion fillers and not nearly enough cauliflower. If you ordered it as a standalone dish, it wouldn't be filling at all in my opinion. The biggest concern for me was safety. My young daughter needed to use the restroom and slipped and fell because the floor was extremely slippery. I don't know if it was grease, moisture, or cleaning residue, but as a parent, that's something I take seriously. Restrooms should be safe, especially for kids. Overall, the food itself is strong and worth trying. With better portion consistency, serving standards, and attention to safety, this could easily be a 5 star rated spot. Three stars feels fair. Hoping my next visit to be better.

Still my favorite Indian food in Reno/Sparks! I recently tried and fell in love with the Madras Tomato Soup. I'm not really a tomato soup fan but this is hands down the very best! It's silky, creamy, amazing flavors with bits of delicious chopped garlic. I also ordered the Vijayawada Chicken Dosa. I've never been to an Indian restaurant that will serve Dosa's for takeaway because it's hard to package, 7 Spices has solved the mystery. Instead of the normal shape they fold it to fit perfectly in a to-go container, and it is delicious. It's served with tasty Sambar, Coconut Chutney and Masala sauce on the side. My only wish would be that the owner add Raita as something you could pay extra for to add to any dish for online ordering. I always get my food super spicy and sometimes it's a little spicier than the last time and the addition of Raita would solve that. If you haven't tried this place do it now, you won't be disappointed!

This place was awesome! My co-workers and I went in about an hour before they closed before the afternoon break, but the service was top notch. The server answered all of our questions we had about the menu since we didn't know much about Indian food. The food was delicious and had wonderful flavor!! The ambiance was casual and you can smell the wonderful smell from outside. I'll definitely go back when and if I'm in the area!

It's become our favourite dosa place..especially because it's in legends. A perfect restaurant to fuel up before a long shopping day. This time for brunch we tried their Vijaywada chicken dosa and the rawa masala dosa. Both were just perfect. And we obviously called for the extra tomato chutney. I will recommend their dosas to everyone. The staff is really sweet and welcoming too!

Wow! This food was absolutely delicious. We had samosas, shrimp pepper masala, and gongura chicken briyani. Oh and garlic naan. Everything was clearly fresh made to order and full of so much flavor. Great value, great vibe. The staff is attentive and friendly as well. We will definitely be back!

Goat Masala and Butter Naan. I wasn't really impressed with this meal. I ordered it on grubhub, it came well packaged and warm which was great. the butter naan was very very dry. The goat masala was missing flavor. I had to add my own seasoning when I got it because of how underwhelming it was. The rice was cooked perfectly and was the only think I really enjoyed.

My new favorite Indian restaurant in the greater Reno area! We've been ordering for delivery from 7 Spices for a few months now but recently had the chance to dine in. The restaurant is right across from the Galaxy theater at Legends and is a big, airy space with tvs playing sports and music videos. We were promptly seated and offered water and menus...we already knew we wanted to some new dishes as well as the trusty usual, gobi manchurian. Of course the gobi was amazing, perfectly crispy and saucy. The 7-Spices chicken fry was deeply flavored and comforting and the mirchi was sneakily SPICY with heat that kicked in after a couple of bites... definitely would pair well with a minty sauce on the side. Loved the meal and will keep coming back for more!

I found myself out and about with just my son and and we both thought a char grilled kebab sounded like a fun dinner experiment. We popped in and found who were guessing is the owner's child at the register and placed our order for their signature kebab made from ground chicken and Afghani spices. The plate came with sumac spiked basmati rice, two pieces of the chicken kebab and a small green salad plus a green hot sauce. The kebab was tender and juicy with a great flavor profile and a nice bit of charcoal flavor. We thought the rice was actually exceptional light and fluffy with a hint of that citrus sea tang from the sumac, in a buttery finish, made this a nice light side to the kebab. The salad was fresh and crunchy with cucumber, lettuce, and bell peppers and that green hot sauce was really great and we used it as a dressing because the salad did not come with one. For $16 I just felt like the value was a bit often the plate needed at least one more piece of the kebab because when finished with a small tiny salad and the kebab, we were left with a mountain of rice and that is south wasteful. I just wish the plates here were a bit more valued oriented and I guess it will take more people eating here to kind of drive that up. Highly recommend giving it a try plus the market has some really fun fines too. Share your review and let me know what you think.

I have loved watching it evolve over the years,…read moreespecially the restaurant, which started as a small offering and has now really come into its own. We had to feed a crowd at home recently and Middle Eastern cuisine suited everyone's fancy, so naturally Aladdin's was the call. Using the online ordering system was simple, and the food was ready right on time. My only feedback is that the items don't all clearly describe what you get or how the dish comes, and so I added sauces thinking they came on the side but really came on top, and paid upcharges for things like pita, thinking they didn't come with it but then finding out they did and I just added a lot of extra. I ordered a few shawarma plates, an Aladdin combo, and hummus, falafel, and babaganoush appetizers. Everything was delicious, but some items were a bit surprising. The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

We were not disappointed! Here are a few things to know: - In addition to selling Mediterranean groceries, you can order at the register and there are several small tables so you can sit and eat. - I ordered the Gyro Sandwich, and my wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. Both were really good, and quite large...I, of course, polished my entire sandwich off and my wife took half home for later. - We've bought Greek cheeses, olives, bulghur, and spices at Aladdin's, both this time and in the past. It's the only place to find some of the things I need, and the prices are better on some things than even Amazon. - Service was really great. The person working let me wait to pay until after I had finished my grocery shopping, and she brought our food out to our table pretty quickly. Bottom line: Aladdin's is a go-to place for us...next time, we'll probably go again at a time which would let us enjoy lunch at the same time.
