Every good Indian food. Had their tandoori chicken and my friend had the chicken tiki masala. We split a garlic, naan bread. Servers were attentive and friendly. Large space only complaint was the videos they were playing on their TV. Would recommend. read more

Yum yummy! So glad we have some more excellent Indian food in Sparks! Coconut Korma Chicken is SO GOOD!! We ate it so quick I didn't get a pic! They are open late Friday and served the perfect post-movie dinner! They have a full dosa menu (my favorite!) and we tried their veg pakora starter which was also great. Mango lasso and rose milk were also splendid. I will happily return even when I don't have a movie to see! read more

Saw a movie at the Legends, never get those two hours back. But the day was saved by an incredible coconut chicken korma at 7-Spices! We also had butter naan and chicken corn soup. Service was excellent by two servers. They suggested medium spice level which was perfect. The korma was great on flavor and not just with the amount of hot peppers. The blend of spices in the korma was very tasty. The chicken corn soup in a broth with fresh corn, which was the thing that made it stand out. The naan was hot off the stove, crispy, toasted and buttery. Located at The Legends it is a large space with lots of seating. Definitely worth a visit. read more

First time visiting Seven Spices and I already can't wait to go back. It's a great spot for date night -- quiet, chill, and just a good vibe overall. Heads up: service is on the slower side, but the food absolutely makes up for it. So many options, and the flavors were outstanding. I love spicy food and this place really hit the spot. Everything was full of flavor, plus they have many gluten‑free options. The décor is simple, but honestly the food carries the whole experience. read more

I'm on the fence between a 4 and a 3 for this place. It was quiet and kinda slow when we went for lunch on a Saturday (we were 1 of 3 total "parties" dining at the restaurant. I was impressed with how clean the restaurant was and the butter naan was the best I ever had. You might be thinking "It's just naan-- don't they all taste the same" but there was an extremely light almost even crispy-ness to this naan. I will say (surprisingly) the garlic naan wasn't as good so definitely order the BUTTER naan. We got the butter chicken in medium but I'd say it was more of a mild, however our other dish (I forget the name) with garbanzo beans was a true medium. So apparently spice level varies by dish. The butter chicken wasn't as rich / umami-full as I like, and there was a slight hint of lemon to it, but I will say the chicken was cooked perfectly and was clearly cleaned/prepared well (no cartilage or bones-- great, thank you!). read more

Stopped in after a movie for a light dinner. We got the Garlic Naan, Chana Masala, and some Chicken Sukka. It comes with a small bowl of rice. We got the Chana with medium spice and it wasn't that spicey, just a little kick. We will try a little hotter next time. The flavor was good. We tried the Hicken Sukka for the first time and we really enjoyed it. Good flavor and not deep fried. The Garlic Naan was okay, a Lil burnt and not enough garlic this time around. The service is great and the atmosphere is great too, plenty of space, not loud, nice and relaxing, with comfortable seating, we had a booth. read more

I came here for lunch with my husband after a movie date at the legends mall. They weren't too busy. The place is pretty spacious. I had the aloo gobi. My husband always gets the same thing. We came here for dinner tonight for my birthday. Having been here several times before and enjoying it, we thought it would be great. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has gone down significantly. My chicken coconut korma was so salty, I couldn't eat it. We also tried to order a dosa and were told that they were out of them tonight. The restaurant also was really dirty. It was not a good visit! read more

7-Spices is hands-down my new favorite spot for Indian food in Reno. 7-Spices has a diverse menu, including dosas, biriyani, Indo-Chinese dishes, and the typical food you'd expect from an Indian restaurant. Pro tip: don't order your go-to Indian dishes. 7-Spices' strong suit are South Indian specialties, such as dosas and biriyani. I've ordered takeout twice and dined in once. The Vijawada Chicken Biriyani is a must order. You can order different spice levels, but the very hot will give you a run for your money in the best possible way. I'm also a huge fan of the Masala Dosa. The Chicken 65 appetizer is also a great way to start the meal. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala once and while it was good, there wasn't much chicken in the dish and compared to 7-Spices' other offerings, it felt lackluster. Overall, I highly recommend 7-Spices if you want to try new Indian dishes. I will definitely be back! read more

My goal is to be fair and specific, and this one lands right in the middle for me. The food overall was very good. The goat biryani was flavorful and well cooked, the tandoori chicken was juicy and had a nice char, and both the butter chicken and tikka masala were rich, comforting, and satisfying. Those dishes are the main reason I'd still recommend this place. That said, a few things brought the experience down. I ordered a masala tea and was surprised to see the cup filled just a little over halfway. I asked the server if that was because refills were offered, and she said no, that's just how they usually serve it. We also ordered the gobi Manchurian, and that was another letdown. It felt underserved with onion fillers and not nearly enough cauliflower. If you ordered it as a standalone dish, it wouldn't be filling at all in my opinion. The biggest concern for me was safety. My young daughter needed to use the restroom and slipped and fell because the floor was extremely slippery. I don't know if it was grease, moisture, or cleaning residue, but as a parent, that's something I take seriously. Restrooms should be safe, especially for kids. Overall, the food itself is strong and worth trying. With better portion consistency, serving standards, and attention to safety, this could easily be a 5 star rated spot. Three stars feels fair. Hoping my next visit to be better. read more

Ordered the vijayawada biryani family pack and what a disappointment! There is a mountain of rice and a few crumbs of chicken. We felt like we are paying for a big rice cooker of rice with no protein. Granted that I used the $10 coupon given to me, maybe that's why there is hardly any chicken in the biryani. You guys need to do better. Don't advertise a family pack and filled it with all rice and no protein. Or Just do a well balanced of protein and rice and charge more. If I did not live far, I would have driven back and return this and want my money back. Who would have thought that you are just buying rice on the biryani dishes. I will tell all my friends to stay away! read more

This place was awesome! My co-workers and I went in about an hour before they closed before the afternoon break, but the service was top notch. The server answered all of our questions we had about the menu since we didn't know much about Indian food. The food was delicious and had wonderful flavor!! The ambiance was casual and you can smell the wonderful smell from outside. I'll definitely go back when and if I'm in the area! read more

Stopped after a movie matinee and enjoyed everything we ordered - tough choices as the menu options all sounded great. Bright, airy welcoming interior and outside seating as well. Still my favorite Indian food in Reno/Sparks! I recently tried and fell in love with the Madras Tomato Soup. I'm not really a tomato soup fan but this is hands down the very best! It's silky, creamy, amazing flavors with bits of delicious chopped garlic. I also ordered the Vijayawada Chicken Dosa. I've never been to an Indian restaurant that will serve Dosa's for takeaway because it's hard to package, 7 Spices has solved the mystery. Instead of the normal shape they fold it to fit perfectly in a to-go container, and it is delicious. It's served with tasty Sambar, Coconut Chutney and Masala sauce on the side. My only wish would be that the owner add Raita as something you could pay extra for to add to any dish for online ordering. I always get my food super spicy and sometimes it's a little spicier than the last time and the addition of Raita would solve that. If you haven't tried this place do it now, you won't be disappointed! read more

Goat Masala and Butter Naan. I wasn't really impressed with this meal. I ordered it on grubhub, it came well packaged and warm which was great. the butter naan was very very dry. The goat masala was missing flavor. I had to add my own seasoning when I got it because of how underwhelming it was. The rice was cooked perfectly and was the only think I really enjoyed. read more

My new favorite Indian restaurant in the greater Reno area! We've been ordering for delivery from 7 Spices for a few months now but recently had the chance to dine in. The restaurant is right across from the Galaxy theater at Legends and is a big, airy space with tvs playing sports and music videos. We were promptly seated and offered water and menus...we already knew we wanted to some new dishes as well as the trusty usual, gobi manchurian. Of course the gobi was amazing, perfectly crispy and saucy. The 7-Spices chicken fry was deeply flavored and comforting and the mirchi was sneakily SPICY with heat that kicked in after a couple of bites... definitely would pair well with a minty sauce on the side. Loved the meal and will keep coming back for more! read more

Amazing Indian food! The best Lamb Vindaloo and goat curry in town but everything is really on point and delicious. Yes it's at Legends which isn't ideal but I'll always go out of my way just to eat here. Omg , I love this place . If you come in to dine , the staff is so nice and attentive and food comes out pretty quick and you get the same effort when you order for delivery. I do need to try other items on the menu because when I am dining in I see other people food and I'm always saying that looks so yummy I need to try that haha ! But I can say with confidence those three items are amazing ! You can smell how good the food is from outside the restaurant, so yea you gotta try it out for sure ! read more

We rolled in with a large group of 24, 1 hour to close. The staff was accommodating and did their best to keep up with us. They had good quality water, brought to us in bottles to refill our glasses. Stumbling upon this restaurant after watching a Galaxy movie was such a pleasant surprise! It was my first time trying a dosa--and it did not disappoint. The dosa was crisp and golden, filled with a flavorful spiced potato curry and served with delicious dipping sauces. Easily big enough to share between two people. They also have an impressive selection of dosas to choose from, which I'm excited to try next time. We also ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken--both were rich, well-balanced, and full of flavor. This has quickly become my favorite Indian restaurant in Sparks. This restaurant is amazing...I only blame myself for ordering too spicy after fair warning from the waitress...it was still great, but the curry did blow my head off!!! Started off with the Masala Dosa....Dosas are very hard to find anywhere...there are only two restaurants in Vegas that do them, so when I saw this on the menu, I jumped! The Dosa is better than the Vegas versions...bigger and more potato inside served with some beautiful sauces...we absolutely loved this dish! We got also Fire Naan...wonderful and the chicken Tikka Masala at a 4/5...next time I would make it a solid 3. This was so good...but sooo hot!!! We still loved it anyway. If you are worried it will not be spicy enough, have no fear....they certainly don't! This is a must return for us when we visit Reno....the inside is very inviting and clean and the service was great as well. read more

Finally came in after ordering take out and having tried them at other events. The restaurant is very large with a full bar against the entry wall the seating floor is big and open. I liked the decor but it felt a bit sparse in there. This might be some of the best gobi Manchurian in the greater Reno area. The seven spice chicken was pretty good but nothing spectacular (like the gobi). Another slight miss for me was the stuffed pepper dish, mirchi. I liked it but why was there no sauce that comes with it? We did ask for sauce and were obliged with a good coconut sauce but it's like why didn't it come with in the first place Also- the cocktails looked good, but the term taphouse is used pretty loosely here read more

I love having a nice Indian restaurant conveniently located at Legends right near the Galaxy theater. They also offer some Chinese dishes that I hope to try in the future. We were seated immediately, their service was great, and the inferior is nice, clean, and modern. Their samosas are probably the best I've had in Reno. You can tell they are made from scratch in house and the puff pastry is cooked perfectly. The butter chicken is also extremely good and had one of the best sauces I've tasted in the country. The garlic Naan is mandatory with any meal and was fresh and buttery. The chicken biryani was quite good, one of the better ones in Reno, but didn't blow me away as I felt it could be a little more, but I would certainly eat it again. Amazing food! Everything was so flavorful and seasoned well. Especially the Chicken Tikka Masala! It was the best I've had in this area. The naans we got (garlic and butter) were light and flaky. I loved the saag paneer as well. I also ordered the Gulab Jamun which I wasn't a huge fan of. I've never had this dish before but it tasted like a doughnut ball soaked in sugar syrup. The server was very attentive and came to refill our water and check in on us multiple times. There was very little wait when we were done with our food. They also allow apple pay. Welcome to Sparks! And congrats, one week new! Quality/Quantity - Decent size menu, fairly extensive Can I also suggest a physical menu? Not all of us are technology savvy. Some must tries: Masala Dosa - Generous portion, freshly made. Garlic Naan - My "go to," but you already know that if you are following. Going to try the Fire Naan on our next visit. Custom Uthappam - A fluffy pancake. You can choose any 3 toppings, see my picture of the menu. My version of an Indian pizza?!?! Okay, this trip was "bread" heavy... And I'm going to save room for dessert on my next visit. Atmosphere - Very similar to IMBIB's (Going to miss you! Where am I going to drink when my wife shops?!?!) had their layout. But some new furniture, see pictures. Indoor and outdoor seating, but their outdoor seating is not set up yet. Not sure if it is due to you being so new...? Or because we are still in the winter season. Very spacious indoors. They can actually add much more seating, hopefully you will need it. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 9:30pm or 10pm; closed Mondays. See my picture for specifics. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Good. Still new, so please be patient. Price - Reasonably priced. Well slightly above average for NV, so more like CA prices. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since February of this year! Look forward to seeing you also open your "Tap House." read more

7 spices opened up a few weeks ago and located right across from the legends movie theater. Restaurant space was very open and lots of natural lighting. Would be a good place to eat outside when it gets warmer out. Food came out pretty quick at first. We got the tomato soup which was delish. Had tiny bits of garlic in it. The vijayawada chicken dosa was tasty. Dosa was crispy and came with a couple dips. The only bummer was that we waited A LONG TIME for the uthappam to come out. Probably another 10-15 min after we got the dosa and the restaurant wasn't that busy when we went. By the time we got it, we didn't really want it by then and it was just ok and underwhelming compared to their dosa. I'd definitely go back to try their other entrees though! read more

A lot of very good reviews for this place so my friends and I had to try. Immediately upon waking in it smelled really great. Indian food has been up there on my list as favorites forever. The restaurant was not busy on this Super Bowl Sunday evening, which was fine with the group. This place is a large space set with Industrial lighting and nice wooden table tops, it was Modern and wide open. I will say that the menu is very large which made it difficult for me to decide, everything sounded Yummy. My friends decided really quickly and I pondered for a while. We shared everything , ordering three dishes; the Paneer Saag, Lamb Tikka Masala and the Mixed Vegetable Kadai. Along with Garlic Naan and I ordered a small Tajmahal beer . I will say the food took awhile but I understand they make everything fresh to order. As we dug in we were Oo ing and ahh ing as tasted our food. Everything was rich in flavor and our Lamb in the Tikka Masala was tender and delicious with no gamey taste. The women servers were on top of it and we never had an empty water glass. I'm giving this a definite 5 star rating. I'm excited that a diverse restaurant like this has joined the Legends Mall. And we're all looking forward to returning and trying more dishes. read more

Very good Indian food is a good location. I would recommend this restaurant to friends. My only criticism is that our waiter neglected to ask us what spice level we wanted, and the food was spicier than I would have preferred.
