Mall food courts have come a long way! I was getting hungry and Nayaab jumped out at me as a place to try. Glad I did. I ordered Paneer Butter Massala with Saffron rice to stir in, and Mango Lassi. I went with the mild Massala but may try a little more spice next time. All of it was really good. The helpings were very generous. I was only able to get through about half the Masala and rice. All the food was fresh and a nice blend of spice and creaminess with a little lingering heat. The food was prepared and brought out within 10 minutes. Hope this place is successful here.

This is for the food truck at Food Truck Friday. Was thrilled to see Indian food at FTF. Got butter chicken as my taste test. A nice size serving for the price was a good start. For my taste the sauce was a bit bland. Not an indictment but I would have preferred salt and peppers. Many folks don't like the heat so they'll be happy. The team was friendly and quick with my order. Very proud of their food as they should be. For me today was a way to find out about Nayaab and plan for a visit to the mall location.

Third time visit. Whole order a little over $20 w/tip. Fed family of 3. Super nice staff all friendly and super smiley. We always order extra butter Naan! Lots of options inside meadowood food court but rarely is there a place that has hand-made fresh ingredients. This place: Best Food in Meadowood Mall! Don't trust? Then Try!

I love that Meadowood Mall has an Indian food option in the food court. The food is main on order so it can take 10-15 minutes to get your food but it comes piping hot. The naan is delicious and I like how they make it out front. I got the chicken biryani and it was good with decent spice level, but could also use a little more flavor and spice. The portion of food you get is huge compared to the rest of the food court for the price is awesome! Overall, this is a great stop when you're done with shopping.

My friend and I decided to try this place on a whim, as Indian food is her absolute favorite. I will admit I was a bit skeptical of getting food from the mall food court, but man am I glad I did! Everything about the food and my experience was incredible. I had never tried Indian cuisine before, and the gentleman working the front was nice enough to give me some small samples of the items I was curious about. I ended up getting the buttered chicken with rice. I also added the garlic naan, and it was incredibly delicious. Portions are large, I got three full meals out of mine! I will absolutely be returning.

I was really excited to find out about a new Indian spot at Meadowood Mall, but my satisfaction fell short. I really wanted to like this place but it was just ok for me. I asked for butter chicken and I'm not sure what the other entree was but it tasted pretty good. It was another chicken dish. I feel like though I was skimped out on the butter chicken. I also felt like it was lacking some flavor for me. The rice was ok. The samosa was good with all the toppings on it. I will say though that their naan was probably the best I've had. Very fluffy and the garlic naan was so good. I tried to dip it in the butter chicken sauce but I barely had enough. I also wish they had labels on what entrees they had showing. It would've given me a better idea of what I can try as I want to expand my palette on Indian dishes. I'd probably go back, but just for their garlic naan.

This place rocks! Easily a top 3 benchmark. Staff 10/10 The rice is 10/10 Naan is 9/10 Every single chicken, lamb or vegetarian option, hot to mild is incredibe! The samosas with the mint sauce - chef's kiss! If tou would have told me I could get five star India, Pakistan, Afghanistan food at the mall food court, I would have sent you to Concentra for a random test. But this place breaks the food court mold with bold and amazing flavors, from wild to mild!

8/202024- Popped in with my vegan son. I'm so happy to be able to showcase a great Indian restaurant in the mall. Service and choices of entrees were plenty. Thank you! Som got the potatoes and rice!

This place is amazing. I've eaten here a couple of times and it's definitely some of the best Indian food I've had in Reno. The meats are tender and everything is super flavorful. Everyone who has served me here has been very nice and helped me figure out what I wanted. I'm not super familiar with all the different dishes in Indian cuisine. But everything I had was amazing. The first trip I got the basic combo with butter chicken. The rice was cooked perfect, the samosa and the naan were hot and fresh. The next trip I got the three meat combo. It came with chicken tikka masala, a chicken meatball dish and I believe the last was a spicy shredded beef dish. The three meat combo also comes with the dessert of the day which was a rice pudding that was a nice cooldown after the food. Only suggestion I have is to maybe make signs for the individual dishes as they change it up daily I believe and it'll help the people not overly familiar with Indian cuisine. Other than that it's a clean spot with friendly staff. It's a welcome addition to have some great food in the food court.

Definitely a must try and don't be deterred by the mall food court location! The kiddos loved the butter chicken and rice. 10 out of 10! The Chana masala was spicy and provided a nice contrast to the creamy butter chicken. With tip, it comes out to $20 for fluffy naan, rice, and your choice of two dishes.

My kids came with this time and enjoyed the pineapple shrimp curry and the mango curry (I forget…read morethe unique name of the mango dish but on the menu it had a crown icon and was not the mango one with the basil)-- both entrees were ordered in mild. These flavors were completely new to me, I've never had curries from an Indian restaurant that tasted like these. The pineapple curry was sweet but a little tangy and reminded me a bit of Thai curry (perhaps turmeric was really elevated in this curry?). The mango curry was also very sweet, it almost tasted like a sweetened butter chicken curry (specifically the northern Indian version of butter chicken-- if you know, you know). My son said the sweet flavor of the mango chicken curry reminded him of orange chicken from Chinese takeout and funny enough I thought it actually kinda did too! While these dishes were a hit with the kids (ages 7, 5, and 2) most adult tastebuds would prefer ordering them with at least some spice to balance out the intense sweetness (otherwise it can just seem "1 note"-- but 1 note "mild" was absolutely perfect for our young children who find even ground black pepper to be "spicy" haha). Maharaja Royal Bites, you just keep impressing me! I'm super happy we found these kid friendly options in your menu. Oh, ps, the kids LOVED their fried chicken appetizer too! Yelpers, ahelpful tip, we've noticed that here a "mild" spicy level can vary based on the dish. Sometimes it means literally no spice (like in the kid-friendly pineapple shrimp and mango curry) and other times we have found that it meant "yes, there is spice, and it's certainly more noticeable than black-- or even white ground-- pepper).

Went to Maharaja to see if it lived up to the hype. It was pretty good, but didnt quite live up to…read morethe expectations. Chicken Tikka - really nice flavor, really solid chicken tikka Coconut Korma - good chicken, nice coconut flavor and great curry texture Lamb Saag - very light on the spinach in the saag. 7-Spices is hands-down my new favorite spot for Indian food in Reno. 7-Spices has a diverse menu,…read moreincluding dosas, biriyani, Indo-Chinese dishes, and the typical food you'd expect from an Indian restaurant. Pro tip: don't order your go-to Indian dishes. 7-Spices' strong suit are South Indian specialties, such as dosas and biriyani. I've ordered takeout twice and dined in once. The Vijawada Chicken Biriyani is a must order. You can order different spice levels, but the very hot will give you a run for your money in the best possible way. I'm also a huge fan of the Masala Dosa. The Chicken 65 appetizer is also a great way to start the meal. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala once and while it was good, there wasn't much chicken in the dish and compared to 7-Spices' other offerings, it felt lackluster. Overall, I highly recommend 7-Spices if you want to try new Indian dishes. I will definitely be back!

I liked the decor but it felt a bit sparse in there. This might be some of the best gobi Manchurian in the greater Reno area. The seven spice chicken was pretty good but nothing spectacular (like the gobi). Another slight miss for me was the stuffed pepper dish, mirchi. I liked it but why was there no sauce that comes with it? We did ask for sauce and were obliged with a good coconut sauce but it's like why didn't it come with in the first place Also- the cocktails looked good, but the term taphouse is used pretty loosely here
