1 Star - Very Disappointing Experience…read more Unfortunately, this was one of the worst Indian food experiences I've ever had. I really wanted to like this place, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. Parking was difficult, and the restaurant itself wasn't particularly welcoming. The space is extremely large and felt more like a banquet hall than a cozy Indian restaurant. The service was good, and that's honestly the main reason I'm giving it one star. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. The dishes were too watery, overly sweet, and heavily based on tomato purée, which completely overwhelmed the flavors. It was so disappointing that we couldn't even finish our food. To make matters worse, I asked for a glass of ice water and was told they didn't have ice because the ice machine would take about 15 minutes to make more. That was certainly an unexpected experience at a restaurant. I'm sorry for the harsh review, but I believe in being honest about my experience. Unfortunately, there just wasn't much about this visit that made me want to return. I do not recommend this place based on my experience.

Nayab Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food was outstanding, and the hospitality made the experience even more special. The owner, a wonderful Kashmiri gentleman, personally took care of us and prepared one of the best biryanis we've had in a long time. Everything tasted authentic and freshly made. We ordered dal makhani, paneer, and veg Hakka noodles, and every dish was flavorful and comforting. What truly stood out was how accommodating and thoughtful the owner was--since it was New Year's Eve, he guided us to order dinner in advance, mentioning that many places might close early. Thanks to his advice, we ended up ordering our dinner there as well, and we were so glad we did! The food was consistently amazing, and the warmth and care we received made us feel truly welcome. We can't wait to go back and enjoy another meal at Nayab. Highly recommend this place if you're in Reno and craving delicious Indian food with genuine hospitality. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! read more
