Love coming here. The food is always very good, fresh, healthy. The employees are always respectful and friendly. Price is a little high for a salad but everything is nowadays. Definitely recommend checking this place out sometime! Great spot for a healthy lunch!

Saladworks in the Ridgeview Shopping Center off Mae Ann in Reno. Healthy Food, great prices.

A five Star Saladworks franchise in the Ridgeview Shopping center off Mae Ann in Reno, is a fantastic and healthy food choice. From FRESH Salads, Hot Sandwiches and wraps and 9 soup choices daily, this wonderful restaurant offers healthy meals for a great price. My favorite salad dressings are green goddess and their homemade ranch dressing! I added 5 toppings and I wanted to add 5 more! Owner Joel Anderson, with Kailyn and manager Jada make a fantastic team. Joel owns two Saladworks locations both in Reno. He opened the Mae Ann Saladworks location in March of 2021 on St. Patrick's day. His 2nd location off Longley was opened in November of 2022. This location offers Saladworks and Fruitables. Açaí bowls with toppings and specialty toasts like avocado toast with eggs and sriracha and smoothies. Wow!! The Tractor beverage company is an organic beverage company that follows a healthy lifestyle. This is why Saladworks offer these fantastic and organic drink products. Try the Strawberry and Dragonfruit Tea...it is amazing! Also on another note....they have very clean restrooms and their to go containers are classy. If you are looking for a Five Star Healthy Food Choice. Saladworks is my recommendation. Julie A

    Beautiful salad, lacking flavor

I do like the convenience of healthy options for sure. It's your average sandwich shop vibe and has always been clean. The salad bar has a ton of options to choose from but the upcharge for extra toppings is pretty steep. You're definitely paying for convenience. Flavor is lacking tremendously. I had a base chicken salad and added a bunch of other toppings. Tomatoes don't have much flavor, beans and pasta no flavor, dressing doesn't have much flavor and just overall considering everything I put together I thought it would have some pop but very bland.

This was a pleasantly surprising great experience. The food portions for the price was worth it. The salad was fresh and the people working there were really helpful and welcoming. The food met my expectations glad I gave this place a try!

Went here for lunch with friend for the first time and enjoyed it! It is very clean inside and the music was nice. The staff were kind and helpful. I decided to do the "pick two." We received our food very quickly. The food was good! I got the chicken Caesar salad with a half Caprese panini. The salad was refreshing however I wish it was romaine letter and not iceberg. I did appreciate that the staff member told me to say "when" for the dressing. The panini was hot and yummy! I wish it would've had more cheese in it but still delightful. The meal comes with lays or a roll and I picked the roll. Comes with some butter and it was a soft roll so that was nice. The only thing I wish they didn't do was put my panini on a paper plate however, I would eat here again for a healthy option for lunch! They even have a rewards program and an app!

My husband and I wanted something healthy-ish for dinner last night and I was glad I remembered this place because it was the perfect choice for what we wanted. When we walked in, there were around 4 people busy at work behind the counter getting orders together. Some customers were waiting to pick up orders that they placed in advance. This is a good sign to me re how fresh the food is. We took a look at the menu and my husband knew right away that he wanted the Avocado Cobb salad. I noticed that all of the "signature" salads included meat except for the Classic Greek, but I wasn't in the mood for that one. One of the friendly young men behind the counter greeted us and told me I could order any of the signature salads and substitute tofu instead of the meat. The young man said as far as tofu goes theirs is prepared well and tastes very good. So my husband placed his order and I decided to go with the Asian Crispy Chicken with tofu instead of the chicken. The server also said he could put the same sweet chili sauce on the tofu that they use with the chicken. We both had our dressings on the side. We brought our salads home and we both enjoyed them very much. So fresh and tasty! They were so large that I ended up only eating half and having the rest today for lunch! We will definitely go back. I look forward to trying other items on their menu.

Salad works owners pleeeeeeease come to south Reno! Also can you fix your online ordering system so for the required dressing choice "no dressing" is an option? I have to call every time for my pickup order which is actually fine as everyone that takes my order is very nice, but I prefer the option of not having to call personally. So anyway I absolutely love their wraps, they seem a bit small in length but they are packed with your choice of ingredients (and there's a lot of choices). It is enough for me to have half on each of my two breaks at work. Really fills me up and it feels healthy-ish even with pasta as my base haha. The wrap comes with 5 included ingredients and you can add more for a price. My go to combination is pasta, grilled chicken, shredded mozzarella, sliced egg (hard boiled), diced tomatoes, and fresh avocado. It is seriously perfect, although the cheese could be a bit more I may ask for extra one of these times. The service is from teenagers/young adults who seem pretty capable and most are very friendly. I haven't eaten inside the restaurant but its a nice open space nothing super special about it though. Round trip this is a 50 minute drive for me... but I do it every so often when the craving for one of these wraps gets overwhelming. And food delivery isn't reAlly my thing yet. But I want one right now! AgAin please come to south Reno!

This place was semi confusing. I kept asking what we vegan and kept being told conflicting answers. They kind of rushed me out & the whole place was a little odd. I guess there are sammiches but I wouldn't have known because the place only advertises the salad. Chop stop way better. Also they kept saying leave a good Yelp for free stuff.

I was asked if I wanted to round up my bill and I said 'No." I do not like to do that as they use our money for their tax deduction. Regardless I was charged. Beware of your charges from this place as they will just charge you. It is not the money but the corporate greed of a company that takes the tax deduction and. makes them selves look like the big man when in actuality it is the consumer paying. Good reason to support another business! I get it is only 3c but multiply this by 200 people a day and pretty quickly you get in a few short months $18,720. I am going to guess most businesses do not do this shady practice!

Saladworks is sort of close to home for me. I had been wanting to try it since it opened and I found a good evening to treat myself to dinner. Upon walking in, I immediately had no idea what I was doing. Luckily, one of the gals behind the counter was kind enough to point out a set menu of salads you could select from. This was greatly helpful and I made a choice much faster! You can build your own, I just didn't want to commit to that process this time around. I ended up getting the Southwest Chipotle Ranch Salad. The girl who made my salad was very helpful. I was able to forgo ingredients I didn't want quite easily. I also prefer my dressings on the side as I find most salads are overdressed. They also give you a dinner roll with your salad if you would like. I ordered a cookie with my meal too. I 'checked-in' to Saladworks on Yelp and even got a free fountain drink - although I don't think anyone working the counter had seen that deal before. It was a bit of a hassle in the end using it because no one was too sure how to get that redeemed for me. I got my meal home and was ready to chow down. I didn't like the chipotle ranch, but I had luckily ordered normal ranch. Neither dressing had the 'made in-house' taste to me. The normal ranch dressing was doable though. I loved the corn in this salad, it had great flavor. The rest of the salad tasted fresh. The dinner roll was a little dry. My cookie was massive and gone within the sitting. It was soft and had a good flavor! I've heard that the soups at Saladworks are pretty good. I'll have to go back in once the weather is cooler and I'm feeling more like a soup. I would say the salad was nice and for not wanting to cook for myself, a pretty dang good option. 7/10 recommend

When visiting Reno, I highly encourage anyone that is looking for a delightful and relaxing lunch…read morespot to definitely check out "Süp". Located directly on S. Virginia St and adjacent to St. Lawrence Ave in the heart of the Midtown neighborhood of Reno, Süp has served up delicious and healthy sandwiches, salads, and soups dating back to 2007. This place has been on my radar for quite some time and I finally got to experience what it was all about. Since this is in a fairly busy commercial part of town, it can be a bit tricky to find parking. However, we were able to park only a block away and this was during the afternoon on Thursday 7/2/2026 at around 12:15pm. After making the short way to the business, I absolutely loved the exterior aesthetics and layout were represented. The business itself mimics a house complete with a large front patio area that actually snakes around to the side of the house for the more comfortable Reno days. The wooden tables with plastic chairs and covered tents to shield off the sun were a very nice touch. The inside also offers very generous indoor seating complete with ample space for a single person, a couple, or a family. Their menu are digitally presented on LED TVs complete with some of their specials that are handwritten on a chalkboard. My lady and I both decided to order sandwiches to get our fuel and energy for the day. I went with their "Char-Grilled Steak Baguette"; this came complete with their bistro steak drizzled with chimichurri sauce and topped with caramelized onions, New York white cheddar & sharp cheddar cheese and served on a cheddar poppy seed baguette. My lady went with their "Reno Deli"; this offered salami, pepperoncini & pesto layered with spinach, tomatoes, provolone cheese, and aioli on toasted sourdough bread. Both of our sandwiches came with a side house salad. Once given our number (we got Tahoe St), we decided to sit outside and take full advantage of the weather (as it was a perfect 78°F). What I particularly like is that the ambiance is the perfect vibe for daydreaming, people watching, and enjoying the simplicity that a city like Reno offers. Both our sandwiches arrived in roughly 10 minutes and were presented on white porcelain plates. My sandwich was made to perfection as the cheddar baguette securely held the fillings quite nicely. There was a lot of seasoned steak as the other sauces were not too overpowering. And considering the size of this, it got me quite full as I wasn't hungry until much later in the day. I will say that if you're looking for a reputable small business that offers healthy fresh ingredients, excellent customer service, amazing ambiance in a very desirable area of Reno, I highly recommend giving "Süp" a try. Their selection of salads, sandwiches, bowls, and soups are all wonderful choices as they focus on farm-fresh ingredients. And if time allows, I highly encourage everyone to eat here as I felt right at home during my 45-minute stay. Keep in mind that they are closed on Sunday but are open Monday through Saturday from 11am-9pm. With that said and done, I am giving Süp a perfect five-star review.

There was a list of specials for the day too. - For a place that has "wine" in the name, I thought the wine list was a bit limited/uninspired...the reds, for example, were heavily focused on CA wines, with a few Italian ones thrown in. - My wife and I ordered the Bee Sting Pizza, the Pistachio Pesto Arancini, and the Wedge Salad...all to share between the two of us. While everything was good, the Wedge Salad was the standout, with the Arancini's a close second (and a great sized portion). One of our friends ordered the Salmon special, and it looked good but pretty small in size considering the ~$40 price tag. - Service was good. There was a mess up where the server didn't hear our friend's order correctly and brought the wrong item, but she fixed it although it meant that he didn't his food for a while after the rest of us started eating. It was an honest error, but it would be good if the staff were empowered to do some kind of goodwill gesture, e.g., a free drink, a free appetizer while he's waiting for the food, etc., when something like that happens. - There was a weird thing that happened on our bills...the total that was on the itemized bill that we got from our server didn't match up with the pre-transaction processing fee total that was on our credit card copy...and, unfortunately, our server couldn't explain why. And, yes, there is a 2.5% credit card transaction fee added on (which we didn't see on the menu or anywhere else, but we learned about when we got the itemized bill). - Vibe is just ok...it's pretty loud and the tile floor and tables/chairs felt a little cafeteria-like. I wouldn't call it cozy by any means. Bottom line: Liberty Food & Wine Exchange was a nice place to meet up and the food was tasty...when I asked my wife if she would go back again, her answer was that we should try other places first, which is probably what we'll do.

The ahi tartare portion anywhere else would have been a shareable appetizer. But each person was served a large portion of delicious fresh ahi. Mmmm this course and a glass of wine could be dinner alone any other evening. The soft creamy rich egg custard was hidden under a thick seafood gravy. I really enjoyed this unique dish. The miso black cod is always flaky and delicious. And the crab fried rice it's nestled on also never disappoints. The rich New Zealand stir fried lamb and shiitake mushrooms over pea shoots was a fabulous hearty dish on this chilly March evening. The braised short ribs were so tender no knife was needed, they flaked apart with the fork. And the e mein noodles were perfectly al dente. The dinner wrapped up with a crème brûlée that only Kwok's could pull off - red bean. Creamy smooth. Not overwhelming. The perfect burnt sugar layer on top. The regular menu is just as delicious.
