Bach party quick girls massage between events. This spa is located inside the Intercontinental Hotel on 1 Ocean Drive. Take the elevators in the back behind reception to the spa floor. We had two one hour massages and one facial. The spa facility had a steam room and sauna but no whirlpool or spa. We had the last appointments for the day and the amenities were bare: no combs, lotions, razors, 4 towels left out. My massage was good, very much needed with a glass of champagne. There's a special on Groupon but I called beforehand and they honored the price. Caroline was super nice in booking our appointment.

Wow! I very one is extremely nice that you might feel like it's fake but it's not at all. My best friend bought us for my bday 50 min massage which included a glass of champagne for each of us. Everyone greets you with a big smile and sweet. While my best friend and I were sitting there pretty much finished with our included champagne and a nice blonde lady which I thinks she's a Manager (I don't know why but she gave me Manager vibes) came to refill out cups. Also, when I checked in Yelp the spa has an offer for a free champagne so I went back and got my third glass of champagne. The masseuse was amazing her name is Cathy I totally knocked out during my massage. I would prefer an hour massage since it's 50 min they deduct 5 min for the time you take to walk to your room and change, so 45 minutes wasn't enough. You need a 60 minute massage so it can be 55min since they deduct changing time (which makes sense). Another thing I liked is that the pool is on the same floor and right there by the spa lobby. It was a beautiful view. Overall I was impressed with the spa and will be going back soon.

Ms. Marilyn and Cindy have hands of Heaven, personalities personalities of Angels. Oh what an experience! This spot was definitely a 10 Star business located inside of a 5 Star hotel! Everything was perfect from entry to exit! Once I located the spa which was on the 4th floor at the beautiful Intercontinental Hotel, it was true heaven from there! We were immediately greeted by very nice lady that was at the front podium who had us sit down and complete paperwork regarding on massages and preferences. We were offered beverages such as champagne and mimosa as we were introduced to our masseuses. My husband and I were able to get massages in the same room and it was beautiful. So nice and tranquil. We were given robes and slippers to put on as we prepare for our 2 hours of pampering. My masseuse Marilyn had hands of gold! She was very very good by pin pointing all of by stress triggers as providing the best massage that I've ever received. My facial was just as stellar as my massage. The products were all sinfully delightful and my skin was smooth as a baby's bottom when she finished. I swear I could have stayed on my massage table for another 3 hours if I didn't have an agenda for the day. After our facials were completed, we were given a detailed assessment. My husband and I were shown many products that were available for purchase to relieve the stresses that our skin constantly endures. There was no pressure with buying anything, just recommendations. Immediately following our massages, we were shown the relaxation room which was just that. All you can hear was running waters and a tranquil scene of running water down a beautiful tiled wall with different warm colors on it. I highly highly recommend this spa to anyone in search of a fantastic masseuse, beautifully decorated clean space, professional service and a relaxing time.

Luv this spa, all the people here are so professional & pleasant

They had a steam room, sauna, and a great relaxation area. You also get access to the outdoor pool if you want to utilize that while you are there. So many different water options, lights, and even music if you wanted. We grabbed lunch by the pool afterwards. Overall it made for a really lovely day. They will validate your valet so I think it ends up costing around $14 instead of the standard rate.

The use of high-quality oils and the attention to detail in each movement was exceptional. The staff was warm and professional, making sure my experience was seamless from start to finish. Overall, the Mandarin Oriental Spa is a perfect oasis of calm in the heart of Miami. It's the ideal place to unwind and rejuvenate whether you're a local or just visiting the city. The pool was a little small but the view is beautiful.

I booed this spa via resort pass and it was an incredible deal! 60 minute aromatherapy massage, beach chair with umbrella and valet included for $265 was really a great deal! If I went directly through the spa reservation, that treatment alone would have been $260. Lyly, was the young lady who confirmed my appointment and she was also the same personnel at the front desk upon my arrival. She was extremely warm and welcoming. She then led me to Brianna, who worked the spa area and she was incredible! These two girls were a 20/10 with the exceptional service and hospitality in which they provided. The treats and teas were an added touch to the experience. My spa specialist, Marli was nice also and I did fall asleep during the treatment so she nailed it. The beach was PACKED but it was nice with excellent staff and delicious food options. Valet was efficient and friendly. Thank God it was complimentary or that would have been $50 out of pocket. Yikes! Great experience and beautiful Easter Day at the spa and beach. Check them out and enjoy!

One of the BEST parts of the spa was the relaxation room where you go before or after your massage. It has the beautiful views and cozy feel. I say was because on this last visit certain key elements were missing: 1) they were not diffusing that magical esencia smell that was their signature, 2) no gentle music playing in the background, and 3) they removed what feels like half of their seating/lounging. The room used to have little seating areas that were cozy as singles or group and those have changed to benches.... Benches! I was so sad. They still have the 6 lounge chairs that look outside but the rest of the cozy spaces are not there. People just awkwardly sat on benches to wait for their massage. I have to say this knocked out 2 stars for me and was a game changer for returning as their is no real place to unwind to either prep for your massage or unwind and regroup after you finish your spa experience. The rest of the amenities worked well. The area for steam room, sauna and jacuzzis is also bright now unlike the dimmer lights from before. Overall, it is still a good spa, but I might explore others unless I hear some of the changes have been fixed.

It is truly disheartening to see the condition of Lapis spa at the Fontainebleau, a hotel that is…read moresupposed to represent one of the standards of luxury in Miami Beach. Unfortunately, both the state of the facilities and the quality of the service are far below what one would reasonably expect from such a prestigious property. The facilities are visibly deteriorating and poorly maintained. Several water faucets do not work, numerous ceiling lights are burned out, the floors are covered with unpleasant rust stains and dirt, the showers are not functioning properly, and the bathtubs are missing stoppers. The overall condition feels neglected, shabby, and frankly miserable for a spa associated with a luxury hotel. The service experience was equally disappointing. The person at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, the person responsible for showing guests around the facilities seemed reluctant to do their job and appeared visibly annoyed throughout the interaction. The robes provided were of very poor quality and lacked even basic features such as pockets. Even more concerning was the feeling of being scrutinized and judged based on one's physical appearance and body. Rather than feeling welcomed, respected, and comfortable, I felt uncomfortable with the way we was looked at and treated. This is completely unacceptable in a place that should offer relaxation, privacy, and a sense of well-being. A luxury spa should provide not only beautiful, well-maintained facilities but also professional, respectful, and genuinely welcoming service. Lapiz spa is currently falling short on both fronts. The contrast between the reputation of the Fontainebleau and the actual experience at Lapiz is shocking. This is not the level of quality, care, or hospitality one should have to accept at a property of this caliber. Serious improvements in maintenance, cleanliness, staff attitude, and guest experience are urgently needed.

The other highlight was our massage experience, Eddy, my technician was extremely professional and talented, the best massage I have ever had, so thank you, Eddy! Lastly, the person who scheduled our services over email, Karla Gutierrez, who was very professional and capable. What did not work: Upon checking in, the lady at the counter (in the spa) was unable to provide a breakdown of charges and had a hard time establishing eye contact. Maybe assumptions were made, which is the only explanation I could come up with based on her behavior. Ultimately I gave up and asked for a receipt. My questions were simple, I paid in advance (a deposit) how is it applied? Do they take off the difference? Or do they reimburse and charge again? She was unable to answer. I have her name in my receipt, but I chose to omit it as anyone can have a bad day. My guest and I proceeded to compare facilities with other well known spas: Lapis at the Fontainebleau and Tierra Santa at Faena- which charge similar rates. Let me tell you, the Standard is very subpar in 1) hospitality and 2) Vibe and decor. The standard's decor is art deco and while I understand the look, the place just seemed old. There is only one station for hair drying/makeup in the locker room, the water in my shower was cold, although my guest's was fine. The Hammam stone was use for towel storage as you will see in picture. No guest is shown in the image and I decided to take the picture because I could not believe it and for this review. There was constant walking in and out of the Hammam (by the staff) to replenish, you guessed it, towels, which made the experience far from relaxing. For the price I was expecting much more. We ended up leaving early without using all the services, but we did walk to the sauna, which seemed nice, but it was super full, and the ice room, which was underwhelming. We will not return, hopefully they can give this place a make over and the staff some training.
