I love the Standard in Miami and visit as often as I can! It's very dog friendly and I love being able to spend time by the pool with my pup (which is a huge reason I always come back and stay here, other than the staff!). I usually book a room with an outdoor bathtub and honestly, I don't think I could do without now. The landscaping is always impeccable and the tropical plants are insanely beautiful. The food at Lido is also great. On my most recent visit, I had the pleasure of meeting several employees who made a big impact during my stay. First, great check-in experience with Paul. Then I had a really amazing detox cleanse massage with Keahi and another amazing deep tissue massage with Meggie. We had several meals at the Lido restaurant where we met Christy who has incredible energy and was overall so lovely. I also want to shout out the housekeepers, Gustavo the bellman and everyone at the valet. The staff really makes this place magical and I can't wait for my next visit.

I'm very pleased with my day at the spa. I see low reviews BUT I do know the spa was closed/under reno for a while. I probably would've felt disappointed during the reno, too, but that's why I waited! Elenora was fantastic. She gave me a great massage. They were very friendly at the front desk. The steam room and ice room are both fantastic and I felt so great after. My advice is to book early to make the most of your experience. If you book too late, there may be no spots at the pool, and the spa facility may be crowded.

Love it here so much! One of my favorite hotels on the beach. Super relaxing adult playground (no kids allowed). I had one of the rooms with the tub on the terrace which was fun. We enjoyed the beautiful pool during the day and at night. We relaxed at the spa and on the hammocks outside. We enjoyed zodiac inspired cocktails at the Monterrey bar. Had great food poolside as well as at lido grill. Overall, wonderful experience and would definitely come back!

The Standard Spa is my happy place. I come here when I need a pure day of relaxation, detox, and de-stress. I prefer week days as it's less crowded at the pool and it's $75 for the day pass which grants access to the spa amenities. Sometimes if I'm feeling extra and wanna treat myself, I'll get a service such as a body scrub which includes the amenities. The pool is 18+ so you don't have to worry about screaming little kids running and jumping around. They're also not against topless tanning which is another plus for us ladies. The happy hour is splendid, order a frose with the ceviche mixto tostones appetizer and you're set! This place is magic. I've seen wild dolphins swimming in the bay right while lounging in my chair sun bathing in front of the water! The servers are wonderfully attendant. The pressure from the waterfall hot tub helps alleviate any back pains you may have. You must try the artic cold tub! Jump in the cold tub then bounce back up into the hot. It's good for you, trust me. The coolest thing that makes this my favorite spa is the music in the pool... yes they play music underwater. The pool is a short walk to the spa amenities so you can easily move between both. They've got an aromatic steam room, a sauna, warm marbled humam (plenty of people do yoga here), deep bath tubs, and lots of showers. The Standard is definitely above standard against other spas.

    Damaged MOET seal

Overall a pretty bad experience. Make sure to check all of the items in your mini bar for any damage to the label or seal. I didn't drink a $130 bottle of Moet and they sent me a pic of an unopened bottle of MOET with some of the foil damaged on the seal and charged me for it. The also don't honor if you booked for 3 or more guests through a booking site. They still charged me even though I paid the added fee when I booked.

Most cozy and fun hotel ever in Miami, right in the Venice way and just at minutes walking to main South Beach. Love the outdoors, and the garden design is just adorable but the most memorable was to jump at any time during the night, in this order, Into the cascade Jacuzzi to the artic plunge and the to the pool beach... just the most relaxing experience ever.

    My favorite place :)

Any female therapists who are really good to request for one of the spa 90 min sessions?

Do they still offer the mud baths as an add on to a spa service?

I booed this spa via resort pass and it was an incredible deal! 60 minute aromatherapy massage, beach chair with umbrella and valet included for $265 was really a great deal! If I went directly through the spa reservation, that treatment alone would have been $260. Lyly, was the young lady who confirmed my appointment and she was also the same personnel at the front desk upon my arrival. She was extremely warm and welcoming. She then led me to Brianna, who worked the spa area and she was incredible! These two girls were a 20/10 with the exceptional service and hospitality in which they provided. The treats and teas were an added touch to the experience. My spa specialist, Marli was nice also and I did fall asleep during the treatment so she nailed it. The beach was PACKED but it was nice with excellent staff and delicious food options. Valet was efficient and friendly. Thank God it was complimentary or that would have been $50 out of pocket. Yikes! Great experience and beautiful Easter Day at the spa and beach. Check them out and enjoy!

If you were traveling for work and staying at this hotel, and needed a day to just forget that everyone existed, this would be great for that. My friends and I flew down from Richmond during a crazy winter storm and decided to get a day pass here among other things. The day pass included spa access during their open hours, as well as pool access. Unfortunately, because of the unseasonably cool weather, the hotel had not opened the pool which pretty much made the spa the only option for anyone else who had purchased the resort pass too, and I'm just not sure the facilities were up to that task. The spa itself had a relaxation area, which was three lounge chairs in the room with a hot tub and a cold tub. In the room next to that, there was a dry sauna, a wet sauna, and a shower. I'm not a huge fan of the dry sauna, dry heat isn't really my thing, but I did rather like the wet sauna room. It was nice and large, and the hot steamy air felt great on my poor frozen winter storm lungs. The cold plunge pool is also not my thing, but the hot tub was awesome, but it had a couple of pretty huge problems. The first was that it was up a flight of stairs. Everyone in our party has limited mobility in some fashion and One of our party uses a walker and isn't super mobile at all, so it was very difficult to actually make it to the hot tub. Might have been nice to know it wasn't actually accessible before we booked the spa. Luckily, even though she isn't super mobile, she is able to haul herself very slowly up stairs, provided it has a nice sturdy railing... Which it did have a railing... unfortunately the railing was completely loose at the bottom and not particularly sturdy since it was only partially connected. It had stone steps, and due to the nature of the room, they were a bit wet so they had nonskid stickers on them, but it had unfortunately peeled up and was mostly loose. Ultimately, our friend ended up using us as the steady banister to get up the stairs, but that probably wasn't any safer since it wasn't like we had anything to hold onto because again... slippery stairs and loose banister. We made it up safely, and then try to get in the hot tub. The tub itself is square, has a ladder railing, but we couldn't actually see any ladder steps, so we kind of had to guess where was safe to get in the pool. Being the most mobile of the group, I ended up sitting on the edge of the tub and feeling around with my feet until I figured out that the tub has three walls with stone benches around it that we could step on and get in. We only actually figured out after getting out that the pool had sunken footholds in the wall, not an actual ladder. Never would have found those getting in, but learn from our ignorance. The hot tub is awesome, the jets were great and absolutely the thing we needed after the plane flight and freezing winter storms, but everyone else felt that way too, so we were unable to get back in it again like we would have liked. We ended up heading out earlier than we intended and just sitting outside for the rest of our stay. Overall, the place is small, which makes it hit or miss as to whether or not you can use the facilities, which makes it hit or miss as to whether it is a good value for the day pass. You may luck out, or you may strike out.

They also have a Tea Ceremony at 2pm which adds to the luxury vibe. The relaxation Lounge offers a couple of complimentary nibbles (e.g. mixed nuts with dried fruit), cold water, and hot tea. Food is not allowed in the spa but there's a few options in the beautiful Eden Roc hotel, from full on restaurant, to small plates at the bar lounge or Cafe Ines for a happy medium. A word to the wise: the spa is under renovation so sometimes some of the amenities are not working (hot tub, sauna, etc). If you don't want to be disappointed make sure you call ahead and ask. I'm looking forward to see how everything looks when it's finished because the new steam room is lovely.

This is not a great experience and you must repeat this step after your treatment. The relaxing area is nice and I was excited to find my favorite tea. They only had one China tea cup and the only other option was paper cups for the 5 people in that area. I got the tea cup for myself. I poured the water and the tea pot has cold water in it. I had to start over. The tea kettle was the cheapest Breville tea kettle with not temperature settings. The water got boiling hot but the tea is herbal, green mint or chamomile which doesn't get boiling water. Anyway it was too hot for the tea. My massage therapist was a bit late as they are the ones cleaning the area on the first floor but he apologized and said I still got my full massage time. I didn't mind that. The parking lot next door is under major construction and despite it being Sunday the noise was not massage friendly and I guess the massage rooms had no soundproofing.
