Had a very relaxing day here at Lapis Spa. Heard about it from friends who stayed at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel. Booking a massage was easy. I arrived a bit early and was able to move my service up. Attendants were all helpful and lovely. The spa was very clean and sanitized. It was an early in the day so I basically had it to my self (which I loved!) . After my massage I spent the next few hours enjoying the steam rooms and minimal pools. I left feeling relaxed and satisfied with my experience. Will return and try to make it a girls spa day soon! read more

I love coming to the spa here for massages and facials. The staff is always friendly and the amenities are clean. I like staying for an extra 2-3 hours to enjoy the calm room, the steam room, and main pool. It's included in your spa service. Also the outside pool access. On this visit I tired the spa pedicure service for the first time. Zulay was amazing and so detailed. She made me feel comfortable and took the time to make my experience a great one. I love my service and how it came out. See you shein and highly recommend her services and the spa. One of my favorite spas so far. It is a beautiful spa. I don't know if it was the staff, decor or vive here, but I felt total relaxation the moment I stepped in. The checking in was fast and smooth. I found the staff helpful. I enjoyed the water amenities specially the mineral pool. I was happy and relaxed. My massage therapist was excellent. She had the perfect presure for me. The table and room was comfortable. I didn't want the massage to ever end lol. I wouldn't have change a thing in the treatment. It is sometimes challenging to find the right therapist. I've been coming here since 2016. They need upgrades. I've always loved this place, the last time I came was 2018, and you can tell it needs some love. A lot of things have closed or are out of service in the Spa amenities. Did I enjoy my visit? I did, but my guest who I recommend this place pointed out all of those details and I felt so bad. I can't say I'll be coming back soon maybe I'll wait another 7 years see if they still have it the same. Great value for the money during Miami Spa month. With the choice of a massage or a facial, you get the use of the spa facility along with pool and beach access. The hotel, especially the lobby is beautiful, however the spa is lacking a little TLC and that is why I am giving it a 3.5 stars. The check-in process was easy and the staff was friendly. Once checked in, we got our spa bracelet, that gave us access to the hotel grounds. Then We were shown to our lockers where we got our robes and we could store our belongings. Once changed and in my robe I waited for my appointment to be called. The massage it self was nice, my therapist was good and I enjoyed my session. Once back to the spa, and I hate to say this, but the amenities in the spa need some upkeep. There were a bunch of missing and loose tiles in the sauna. The rain shower room by the co-ed pool was out of order. The showers in the back were also not functioning correctly. Overall it just looked like the entire place needed a good cleaning. I was hoping things looked a little nicer/cleaner and that things worked better this time around as I came here some years ago and had the same experience, it's very much still the same. On a positive note, the pool area was nice and had a lot of chairs and umbrellas, plenty of towels and beach access was easy also. At the end of the day, It was nice to be able to shower and change before leaving, but once again, the showers had missing hooks to hang towels and my stall was out of shower gel so shampoo as body wash it was. I have been coming here for years now, and after my recent visit I felt it was time to update my review. The positives are that it is without a doubt one of the prettiest spas I have ever been to. They also have some lovely amenities like the co-ed mineral pool, rain room, steam room, and jacuzzi. Lapis provides all the toiletries you might need, and some you might forget like makeup removing towelettes, deodorant, hair gel, and mouth wash. The receptionist was very professional and check in was smooth and quick. I was then greeted by a sweet attendant who provided me with my robe and took me to my locker. The refreshment area was well maintained the entire time, and I liked the choice of snacks. There were small cups of peanuts, dried pineapple, dried banana, and nut mix along with hot tea and infused water. Now here are the negatives... They no longer provide sandals which was weird, so make sure you bring your own. Aside from that, the spa seems like it is simply not being managed well. - The clocks throughout the spa were not working. This makes it difficult to know when to return for your massage. - The "L" was missing on the word "Lockers" on the wall. - The floor was covered in water heading into the mineral pool area and the pool area. It was extremely slippery and I almost slipped when I first stepped in the corridor leading to the pool. In the room itself the floors were also flooded. - Dirty towels covered several seats, with one seat having a wet bandage stuck to the seat. Gross. - No blankets were made available in the quiet room. There used to be blankets there so you could curl up and take a nap or just add to your relaxation and comfort. That was very disappointing. Some people resorted to using towels to cover up. It gave a ghetto appearance. - There were only apples for the fruit. There used to be orange slices available and cold cucumber slices which were heaven. - They removed one of their rain features and made it a seating area. This was one of my favorite areas to enjoy and I'm not sure why the downgrade. Was it cause it wasted too much water? I can understand that... - The main rain room was out of service. - Half the lockers weren't working, or with the hooks inside being broken. It has been a couple of years since I've been here and overall I was disappointed with the experience this time due to all of the negatives mentioned above. As I said, management/maintenance is simply not keeping this beautiful spa up the way it deserves. There is no excuse for the clocks to not work. It takes a simple battery change or order some new ones. The flooding in the pool area and hallway is a slipping hazard and so ghetto looking. The Rain Room not in service. The "L" missing from signage. The lockers broke with fixtures broken. Where is your maintenance crew?? Where is your manager who is meant to oversee the upkeep of the facilities and keep this place in pristine condition?? Very disappointing. And one other suggestion- please put a small table or shelf in the showers so we can have a place to put our items/towels. The hook outside the doors is missing and not ideal. read more

This past Sunday I decided to take advantage of spa month in Miami with a group of friends at Lapis. We had a very good time and overall it was beautiful day, but the spa itself needs some upkeep in my opinion and we were a little upset that the one of the main amenities, the Bleau Rain Room, was out of service. They should let people know beforehand. On the positive side I really loved my facial. My esthetician was very nice and informative about my skin and I felt great after. All in all I would be back because I love the Fontainebleau as a whole but I do wish they'd give the spa and its amenities a little love. read more

Came here during Miami Spa month with a group of girlfriends & had a nice time. The CBD Massage done by Jessica was amazing & she followed exactly my request for delivering the right amount of pressure. The hot stones created the perfect combination to relax the tight muscles all over my back. Personnel throughout the spa were warm, friendly & accommodating. However, towards the tail end of the day we were feeling a little rush by the cleaning staff who were constantly checking lockers to make sure they were not full so they can clear them out & lock them for no one else to use them... it got a bit annoying since at one point they were standing guard at the entrance of the locker rooms. This was around 415PM so not too close to closing time. One more thing is the lack of essentials - hair dryer, qtips, personnel hygiene items, disposable combs, floss, etc... that I'm used to have access to at these places. They were all behind the counter &/or none existent. Sadly I needed a personal item for an unexpected visit & had to trek to the front for the item. When I went to discard some items in the bathroom stall there was no receptacle. Soooo I had to walk out with the items in my hand & discard outside the stall... and wash my hands thoroughly after of course... This is my third visit to the spa & I've always enjoyed it but with that said the facility does need an upgrade. It is almost exactly as it was when I came here for the first time in 2012. My favorite amenity was not functioning & some of the other amenities have been around way too long & they are reaching or have reach their maximum life capacity. Another unfortunate experience is the lack of hydration stations with snacks that are not sugar loaded (too many dried fruit options). It was either water with lime, lemon, oranges or just water. This is not what I've experienced in the past at this spa & many others in the area including the establishment next door. The location is amazing. The access to the pool area is a great plus but sometimes when you do spa day with your girls all you want to do is use all the amenities within the spa to beat the crowds. Again, value was exceptional & service was great by the masseuse. Hopefully a little face-lift is all this place needs! And bring back those mud soaks! Let me start off with saying that all staff and services were 10/10. Everyone was extremely professional , friendly, easy to talk to, and always available. Now that I got that out the way, I booked two Swedish cbd massages for my mother's birthday to celebrate together on 11/24/25. We were both looking forward to enjoying all of the spa amenities. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. We first entered the steam room and they were broken tiles on the floor that must of fallen from the tiled seats. Given that it's a steam room and there's so much steam that you can't see very well the last thing you should have on the floor is pieces of tile that can impale guests. As I'm leaving the steam room, another guest brings up the same circumstance and then lets me know that the rain room is under construction. That was the first time I was told about that. I should've been notified before I booked on the website. There is no sauna there is no cold plunge. There isn't any other Hydro type treatment rooms that are spa would normally have like salt etc. From all the videos and pictures that you see on the Internet, it looks aesthetically pleasing, and an overall very pretty spa but it's so under kept. Lots of stain patches on the wall from water damage. There was an area where I'm assuming you could run your own water to create maybe a cold plunge bath but as I'm testing all the baths faucets the first one was broken. The other one was spilling water from the tap that turns it on, the next one black mold, was coming from the tiles. I literally just gave up like why am I going to waste time running water to fill a large tub that's dirty at that and is going to take forever to fill up because the taps are all messed up! All you're getting is an outdated steam room, a hot tub that's not very hot, a coed pool, some apples and oranges and some lounge chairs. Such a letdown and I'm so upset that I wasted my money on a hotel that I thought was extremely reputable on Miami Beach with prices that would make you think that you're going to get a quality experience. I have been to so many different spas inside the US and out and that has to be the worst spa experience I've had. I have even gone on cruises with better spas. You know it's bad when you don't even have a regular sauna, which is such a basic thing like even gyms have a sauna! Like literally you have guests talking to each other, side eyeing each other like is this even real ? This is what I paid so much for lmao?? I decided to book a 50 minute relaxing massage here as I heard this is one of the best spas. The staff were very nice. The massage itself was good. My favorite part was when she massaged my hands, feet and scalp. But sometimes during the massage it felt like she was just rubbing oil on me. I did enjoyed the flavored water and snacks available for us to eat before and after the massage. My favorite was the banana chips and slices of oranges. The amenities are nice but it seemed like more upkeep is needed. I saw one of the handles of the bathroom door become loose, the shower head for one of the showers had a lot of buildup and the tiles are loose in the steam room. I do like how they remind the clients not to take pictures out of respect of others. But it also forces us to enjoy the moment. Lapis is always top tier spa that I've enjoyed going to. The service is always exceptional. The staff always helpful and the masseuse I've had all have been great. The only thing is that some of the amenities like the rain room was closed without notice when I did my reservation. The jet bath looked dirty with hair in the corners. Everyone also seemed to fall into the the jacuzzi because they didn't know where the stairs were located. The outside pool was beautiful and so big with room for everyone. My friends and I decided to visit Lapis Spa during spa month. We all made a staggered appointments to be able to enjoy both the outdoor pool and facilities, as well as, the spa facilities. Each one of us got a massage and from the comparison, it sounds like all the massages were different. Despite having booked the same type massages. My masseuse although nice, was subpar for a luxury hotel. I felt my massage lacked in pressure, however, I did enjoy the hot stones and how she used them. Some of my friends didn't get hot stones. Some of them only got them on one part of their body. Some of them reported getting more pressure. I guess the day we came, it was the luck of the draw. I will say it was a very busy day. In my timeframe alone, eight women were seated in the waiting room to be treated. Now, I don't know if all of them booked massages but eight people scheduled for the same time is pretty impressive for a spa, so they definitely have a lot of staff and it seemed like they were busy all day. My friend made a comment that stuck, it felt like a factory of treatments. The refreshments, and the snacks that they offered were minimal and unimpressive. The detox. water was good. The facilities have seen better days. The rain room was closed, the steam room, although I enjoyable in its function, did have tiles missing and some of the tiles were actually even floating around on the floor. The co-ed pool was nothing to write home about and the showers in female spa area (next to the steam room) were in terrible condition. The shower I got didn't even have all the holes of the spicket of the water cleared so I had to share the other shower with a friend. The locker room was nice and clean. They did have amenities like private showers, the one I used didn't have the hot water feature available. They had one blow dryer, and a couple of changing rooms as well. All in all, although a pleasurable experience because of the company I was keeping and access to the hotel pool and beach, which is a great perk, I'm happy we went for a spa month deal and didn't pay full price for what we got. read more

I rarely write reviews - this may be my first in 10 years. To put it bluntly, the services advertised by this spa are a scam. That is, they are intentionally misleading consumers with the descriptions/information on their website. I paid for 2x "Body Strategist + Thermal Mud Treatment" (~400$ per person) for my partner and I . What we received was: Mint oil being rubbed on our bodies and being wrapped in a hot towel (for 80 minutes) - no massage, no service explaining what was happening, no "body strategizing" (not even sure what this is). When contacting management, I was told that "there was mud being applied to your body, it was just so diluted that you don't feel it" (???) and "our website specifically says treatment and not bath" (I would wager most people reading the description on the website would assume a mud bath). No offer of refund or other services, no apology. I immediately contacted my credit card company. Quite frankly, I am shocked that a spa attached to a 5-star resort on Miami Beach is taking this line. Part of me can't help but feel like this is my fault as I did not read the reviews before booking - would highly suggest that anyone looking to book do so. Two Visits - Friday and Saturday (We stayed for the weekend at the Fountaine blue where the spa is located) Friday, 10/27/2023- My fiance brought me here as a surprise for my birthday. We had scheduled a massage for him, and for me a facial, pedicure and manicure. We checked in and I went in with an escort to the spa. She showed me around very quickly and handed me over to the facialist. The facial was ok. I've had better. It was supposed to be a stem cell facial. but to be honest I wasn't impressed with the facialist or the treatment. The warm towels they used, smelled bad. The pedicure was in a different area. That particular salon needs an update. The seats don't have massager and you can't move them to adjust to the height of the client. The lady asked me to move up and down myself. It was super uncomfortable at times. The pedicure was pretty good. The same person did the manicure and again, the area needs a major update. She took of my gels and just did a regular manicure. Saturday, 10/28/2023 - we had a couple's massage scheduled that we should have canceled. We cheked in 10 minutes prior. When I walked into th locker area, no one was there. I waited for over 5 minutes. I walked back where the employees were and asked them to please come to the desk. When the lady attended to me and I told her the time I had my massage, she hurried me and said I had two minutes. The room was super bright with a view of the ocean, but we didn't appreciate it since we were mostly facing down. It was also warm because of the open blinds and the sun just hitting the room. It was supposed to be a deep tissue massage but the girl doing my massage just worked mostly on my upper back. We left there and my fiancé had to give me a lower body massage because she didn't. He said his massage the day before was in a nice cool dark room and that was better. Also, the facilities were dirty. Toilets were disgusting. The ladies working there were rude and inattentive. The areas for snacks was peanuts, dried cranberries, dried pineapple, and water and tea. Cheap! Recently enjoyed a facial during Spa month, and Lapis Spa was for the most part a nice experience! I arrived around 10:30am and found parking at the public beach parking lot nearby. It's $20 for the whole day. We started outside and the worked our way in. There are several outdoor pools, and it's just too much of a club-like scene for me personally, so I instead opted for the beach. The chairs and towels were free which was nice and the weather ended up being perfect. We ate lunch at Le Cote because you're not allowed to bring food or drink in. The second floor was less crowded and the music was quieter) and I spent $60 for a pina colada and a burger...yowsa. The hydrotherapy amenities at the spa unfortunately were so chlorinated that my eyes and face burned. I tried all the different stations: the rain room, the long jetted pool, and the hot tub. I couldn't enjoy any of them sadly. The only thing I could enjoy was the steam room, which funny enough not many could handle so I at least got to enjoy it in peace. In order to visit the spa, you have to pay for a 50 minute treatment or be a guest of the hotel and get a day pass. The facial was the best part of the spa experience. Technician Audrey was knowledgeable, funny, and provided a soothing experience. With tax and tip, the treatment came to about $200 (remember this is discounted because of Spa month!) The guy asked me what areas I needed to work on most and those are literally the two areas he didn't hardly even touch 80 minute massage and he spent 60 seconds maybe on my feet in total, which was one of my main areas that I said I needed worked on. He spent most of the time hurting my back. Not sure he is an actual licensed masseuse or he shouldn't be. Such an extreme letdown. It looks like Fontainebleau is yet another corporation who has outsourced any ounce of their customer service to another country to save money, but will ultimately end up losing more money due to the poor level of customer service. I went to get a Swedish massage using the Miami spa month deals with a friend. To begin, I had to park my car in the valet area and hunt for a valet worker, and when I found one, I gave them my key. The spa validates your parking for up to 5 hours so instead of paying $60 for valet, you pay $16 if you get the spa to validate the ticket. The spa entrance is lovely, however it did not feel very welcoming. We went to the area to get our robes/sandals and get taken to the massage area and it was very chaotic and seemed unorganized. They had no sandals available. They didn't allow time for me to change and leave things in the locker rooms and rushed me over to the massage waiting area with 10-15 min prior to my massage. Leda completed my massage and she truly personalized it according to my needs. She applied decent pressure. She targeted really tense areas and explained to me things that can help me improve recovery and relaxation. Extremely professional! I would highly recommend being massaged by her. On the other hand, my friend purchased the same exact massage and didn't have a great experience and her therapist did not apply much pressure nor make the effort to personalize her massage. We checked out the steam room and it didn't have anything special nor smell like eucalyptus. The jet pool was nice and there were both male and female access to that. I didn't see signs for toilets and showers and it was confusing as to where things were, but eventually I found where everything was. I like an area they had with tea, water, orange slices, apples, banana chips, and nuts. I didn't like that the floor in that area was full of crumbs though. I kept stepping on crumbs as I was walking by. Reserving a massage gets you access to the pool, beach and hotel for the day. I truly love the great work the massage therapist Leda did, however, I don't know if I would return to the spa due to the amenities and chaos. read more

I would highly recommend visiting another spa. My best friend and I came to Miami a little early for her bachelorette weekend and I wanted to surprise her with a massage. When we got to the spa it started off strong, but progressively got worse. The first two concierges were kind and sweet while checking us in. The tour we had was kind of awkward, but not too bad. When we asked if clothes were required in the women's locker room facilities (because everyone was wearing swimsuits), the person giving us a tour made a weird joke about not wanting to be sued. We were really excited about the spa facilities, but all of them weren't good. The eucalyptus in the steam room burns your eyes, the cascade was a bit too harsh, the main shared pool was ok, and the marble seats would've been better if heated. I think the two things that really ruined this visit were the woman who was in the sauna room touching herself inappropriately... And when we were called up for our massage, we felt like cattle. We were called one by one and asked if we "needed to peepee." I was a bit disappointed at our experience especially after paying $235 for this experience. Thankfully my massage therapist, Leda, was very kind and did a good job on the Swedish massage. However, the bride's massage therapist was a bit rude. When he asked her if she'd like anything to focus on, she said she had a pain in her neck and liked a harder pressure. He immediately went into how she didn't pay for a deep tissue massage and would have to pay more if she wanted that. I would highly recommend visiting another spa. read more

Really disappointed by Lapis Spa this time for our annual Girl's trip. It was great last year but seems to have gone downhill and is in desperate need of maintenance. Our two favorite experiences the steam room and rain shower room were broken and closed for maintenance. Two showers were broken and hooks and door handles were missing or broken in the shower area, the rest room area and even in my locker. For a luxury spa it didn't feel luxury it felt old and in disrepair and in desperate need of upkeep and upgrading. I love the service and the access to the entire facility during my spa day. Yet I see pros and cons to my visit of lapis spa. First, let's start with the pros. As mentioned by Martha Steward, Lapis spa is one beautiful facility. Even though it was built in 1956, it has a great variety of sauna, steam room, raindrop room and seaweed co-ed room. It also has a quiet room for you to relax. I love that! Everyone at the spa was professional and did a good job. Secondly, I was allowed access to the pool, the beach and the gym during my spa day. I was thrilled. The pool and their beach were so beautiful. About the cons, the facility is outdated as pointed out by previous reviewers. You can see the bathroom door locks are rusty. Everywhere shows signs of ages. I heard that Fontainebleau hotel has gone through a massive renovation. Apparently, it didn't cover the spa area too much. In addition, it was almost impossible to find a chair around the pool. Other available chair costs additional cost for booking, which feels a bit ridiculous. Will I come back again? So, we had 1 hr massage and took advantage of the co-Ed pool, jacuzzi, eucalyptus steam room, and small snacks left around for the spa guests. The first attendant was a little pushy, asking us to change before giving us a tour of the place. The place was very clean and the masseuse was very professional and attentive. We decided to go hang out by the outside pool and get something to eat. It took a while to get two lounge chairs because the place was packed !! The pool attendant, Horacio, was very helpful and professional. He gets 5 stars. We got 2 margaritas and the final price was $62.59! Overall, I thought that $500 for the 2 spa packages, plus the overly priced margaritas, $15 for up to 5 hrs parking ( with spa use) and the added tips for masseuse, valet, pool attendant, and bar was too much for what we got. I have been to this spa twice, and I will not be returning. Spent over 2k and can assure you that you are not getting what you pay for. For starters, the co-ed pool smelled like weed when I entered. I do not smoke weed and even if you do, this is not something you want to smell at a "high end" spa. Seriously smelled like someone had lit up a joint at the indoor pool. All of the places to sit at the pool weren't cleaned, they had the seat coverings on them even though nobody was using them. Because of this, I went to the ladies only pool. While using the jacuzzi at the ladies only section, 1 loud individual called over her two friends. One of which was a MALE. Yes, a man was in the women's only section. Not sure where they went, but they headed towards the women's locker room. As for the services, they are meh. Larry did a great deep tissue massage my first time coming here. But the second time I got Rosa. The massage felt very rushed. What she did to one arm she wouldn't do to the other. Just wasn't consistent. I also got the stem cell facial, and also was not blown away with this. Sadly they don't provide hydra facials which are the best of the best. As other reviews mention, it could definitely be cleaner all throughout the facility. The main problem to me is the people here. Loud and obnoxious and stink up the common areas with weed. Doesn't matter how nice the spa is when all the people attending are gross. Ratchet people. Go to ritz Carlton spa to avoid these issues. Not worth it. read more

I would not recommend or return to this spa. On 6/16/2023 I had an 80 min deep tissue massage and my husband was booked for an 80 min Swedish. We arrived two hours prior to appointment to enjoy spa amenities. Women's showers were cold without hot water with mold in shower ceilings. I informed spa manager "Ismaili" of this and she was unphased. Jacuzzi and mineral bath need a serious deep cleaning as there was visible mold in grout/caulking. This place is rundown and old. Lucia was my massage therapist and she was great, my husbands massage therapist was not good as he "could not wait for massage to be over". For $700 with automatic gratuity this is unacceptable. read more

Very dirty place On the one hand, I really enjoyed entering the spa, I felt like a million dollars The clerk at the reception was very nice and helpful But as I entered the place I got a very messy atmosphere. They didn't explain anything to me and didn't give me a tour of the place. The whole floor is water, it feels like no one cares to clean the premises. One of the best spas I've been too! Beautiful spa all around! I love the fact that when you book a massage with them you can use all the amenities such as the sauna, pool, silence room, the outdoor pool and so much more. They provide you with a robe,slippers & a locker to put your belongings. The masseuse that I had was so gentle that I fell asleep during my massage and she was also very polite and nice . You would expect better service for the price! The check-in ladies were fairly friendly. The individual checking me in was in training. It was kinda annoying switching machines and watching her leave my card in one area to locate it later. After check-in, you are walked to your locker and instructed on setting the passcode. The individual showing us the passcode was highly annoyed! She had the worst attitude and rushed the whole process. She handed us off to another lady to gave us a towel and robe. This second lady was clearly bothered by the other lady. The tension in such a relaxing setting was high! We didn't receive a tour as advised, but we found everything pretty easily. We ordered the day package which includes access to all available spa amenities, the private beach, lunch & a 50 minute Swedish or hot stone massage. Lunch was pretty good! We had a two course meal of Caesar salad and snapper. Nothing special about the salad. The snapper was nicely seasoned and flaky. It comes with more lettuce, guacamole and tomatoes. Drinks are not included. I ordered a 1951 margarita as recommended by our server. Beware of the prices. It was $51. Really good but I could've done a regular margarita. The beach was nice! Loved that you have chairs, cabanas and towels provided! It's hard to order a drink out there, so bring a cooler or something. The spa was the best part. So relaxing! We enjoyed the heated pool, rainfall (my favorite) and hot tub. The 50 minute Swedish massage was AMAZING! 50 minutes of pure relaxation on a heated table. I had a great time with my mom for her birthday at the lapis spa. Service was great, staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Very spacious and comfortable, I didn't want to leave. I loved the rain shower, the hot tub, and steam room. The snacks and refreshments were a really nice touch too. The area near the jacuzzi seems to be under construction so once it's settled it's be nice to seen them make some use out of that space. I thought the nail spa could use some more services as they do not remove or do any acrylic or gel. I also booked a scalp massage to be honest I expected a 30 minute massage but instead what I got was a hair treatment oil, a 5 min massage and then they shampooed my hair. Not exactly what I was expecting but relaxing nonetheless. I'll definitely be back. read more

It was spa month when I went I got the CBD Swedish Massage and they all come with a day pass to all the hotel amenities including the spa amenities which made it worth the price. The massage was $160 and their auto-gratuity landed us for about $210 for the day. I love the two ladies that took care of all us ladies. The energy in there was so peaceful and loving. It was beautiful, serene, and super clean. The lockeroom, bathroom, and shower were all super well kept. They also have everything you need to get ready after your spa day available. Hairbrush, blow dryers, sunscreen, face lotion, everything. Pro Tip: before you walk in there's a bunch of bath and beauty products for sale some of which are up for free samples. I was in Miami for vacation and I decided to treat myself with a last minute spa day. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I tried one of their new scalp cbd treatments and it was amazing. William was the treatment specialist, he was super nice and very knowledgeable! I also got a pedicure with Solane (sorry if that's not how you spell her name) she was also very nice and sweet. The eucalyptus steam room was a must try and my absolute favorite. I thought the facility was super clean and neat, I do agree that some renovations could be done. DO NOT BOOK HERE! There is nothing luxurious about poor customer service. I was so excited to book at lapis with a friend. We wanted to see if we could move our appointments closer together either for the day scheduled or over the next two days. We were flexible. Mind you, I am trying to make this adjustment almost a week prior so this isn't a last minute request. Tell me why I called and left multiple messages over two days as well as sent a email to receive not one attempt of communication back. Not only does Lapis not answer their phone and sends you straight to a voicemail but it proves impossible to reach even for the hotel staff! (I tried calling through the hotel) If the spa doesn't have enough staff to answer the phone, why have a spa at a hotel? When you're about to spend $500+ customer service better be top notch. If I could give zero stars I would. We cancelled our services and are going elsewhere. read more

I booked a session for the "Cupid's facial" which is a special that the Lapis was offering throughout the month of February for couples. The hydrating collagen facial came out to $149 (exclusive of tip and surcharges) per person - I believe the regular price is $165! It is truly a wonderful and calming experience from the second you walk in - they have a multitude of amenities to choose from, e.g hot tub, rain shower, coed pool , etc. My esthetician was absolutely amazing and the facial included extractions. I definitely recommend booking a session at the lapis spa whether it be for a facial or massage - following your spa experience you have full access to the hotel pools which is another luxury! Note - you can get 5 hour valet parking for $16 dollar through your booking! If you exceed the 5 hours it will cost approximately $50. read more
