We had a 1:30 PM appointment at K'ALMA Spa, located inside the Viktor Hotel at 1144 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139. Let me start by saying--I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this certificate! From the moment my husband and I arrived, the experience was wonderful. There is valet parking directly in front of the hotel, and we paid $50 for all-day parking, which was convenient because we were able to enjoy the area without worrying about moving our car. When we walked into the hotel, the young lady at the front desk was extremely nice, welcoming, and helpful. We were escorted to the spa's changing area, which was beautiful and had all the amenities you would expect in a comfortable home bathroom. We were provided with lockers where we could safely store our belongings and change into our spa attire. After changing, we were taken into the Tea Room, where our relaxing experience really began. We were then given a mini tour of the spa. K'ALMA Spa is located one level below the hotel's lobby entrance, and when you walk into the spa, you immediately notice how beautiful, spacious, peaceful, and inviting the atmosphere is. There are even tables where you can purchase products to take home, including spa lotions, exfoliators, candles, incense, and other relaxing goodies. Another lovely young lady gave us a tour of the different rooms, and I thought the attention to detail was amazing. Each room had its own purpose. There was a meditation room, as well as a peaceful reading room where guests can sit, relax, and read something inspirational. Then came the part we were really looking forward to--our couples massage! Our massage therapists were Mr. Nirioldis Turro, who was my therapist, and Ms. Arlettis Bautista Velazquez, who was my husband's therapist. Mr. Turro was absolutely wonderful. Before beginning, he asked me several important questions about the reason for my visit and what areas I wanted him to focus on. I really appreciated that because he wasn't simply giving me a standard massage--he was listening to what I needed. And let me tell you, he was AMAZING from head to toe! He focused on all of my sore areas, especially my shoulders, lower back, and neck. He worked on my muscles, incorporated stretching, and paid attention to the areas where I was experiencing tension. There was honestly nothing about the massage that I did not enjoy. I LOVED IT ALL! My husband had the same wonderful experience with Ms. Arlettis. She listened to the areas he wanted addressed and definitely went to work! By the end of the massage, he felt rejuvenated, relaxed, and completely at ease. The atmosphere made the experience even better. There was soft, peaceful music playing, along with beautiful water sounds that reminded us of water flowing down a mountain. At one point, Ms. Arlettis had my husband so relaxed that he actually started snoring! And you know a massage is GOOD when your husband falls asleep during it! After our massages, we discovered another wonderful surprise about the package my daughter gave us for Christmas. It wasn't just a massage--it came with additional rewards and benefits, including access to the Viktor Hotel's restaurants, pool, and bar. And the location couldn't be better! You are right on Ocean Drive, where there is always something happening. There are restaurants, entertainment, stores, boutiques, beautiful scenery, and so much more. You can easily make an entire day out of the experience. But let me get back to K'ALMA Spa, because this place deserves its own recognition. This was truly a FIVE-STAR SPA EXPERIENCE! From the welcoming staff, beautiful surroundings, relaxing atmosphere, thoughtful tour, comfortable facilities, and, most importantly, the exceptional massage therapists, my husband and I were extremely impressed. A BIG SHOUT-OUT to Mr. Nirioldis Turro and Ms. Arlettis Bautista Velazquez for their professionalism, knowledge, experience, and incredible massage techniques. They both listened to what we needed and made sure we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. My daughter definitely picked a wonderful Christmas gift for us! I would absolutely recommend K'ALMA Spa to my friends and family, and my husband and I will DEFINITELY be back! I had a clear vision for the color I wanted, but I couldn't find anyone willing or skilled enough to take on such a complicated project without risking the health of my hair. Then I met Diana, my angel sent from heaven, honestly. From the very beginning, she sat me down, explained exactly what it would take to achieve my goal, and took the time to thoroughly review my hair history. I think this will be one of my favorite places, it's a hidden gem in Miami Beach. To start is located in the most beautiful square surrounded by a beautiful garden where you feel an atmosphere of peace and harmony. The service is excellent, offered by its owner who will make you feel that you are in good hands from the moment you arrive. Then the service that she offers. It is the polar opposite of that, you feel the good energy amongst employees and it's a pleasure to be there. Good vibes are really important to me, but it goes far beyond that, you can tell this is no accident, Dafne knows exactly what she's doing. These are highly qualified, kind professionals, she purposefully built a team of superstars ! These are the services/professionals I tried: Elisa: does amazing mani-pedis and lymphatic drainage massages, you literally look slimmer after it. Gio: does incredible hair work, I actually had the best keratin treatment of my life here. They use high quality products only. Gigi: gives amazing facials too. I really loved it all of it ! I came knowing the blonde in my hair was working and that I was in a dying need for a touch up. As soon as Bri saw my hair, she knew exactly was to do. She focuses on hair texture, which I've never had a stylist educate me on. She showed me how important it is to know the clients hair texture since everyone is different. She shaped my hair in a way I have never tried and fixed the color to match my roots. I feel like my hair looks more coherent and natural. Thank you Bri!! I am visiting Miami for the week and stumbled across this place. I was a walk in and they took me…read moreimmediately for eyebrow threading. I wish I would have gotten the young woman's name and asked for the price up front. This woman botched my eye brows then tried to throw make up over top of it. Then proceeds to charge me $30.00 for it. I asked for a clean up. Now my eye brows are uneven and chipped. It's as if she has never threaded eye brows before. I could have done a better job waxing my own and I suck lol but at least I know basic symmetry . 2 days later I know have scabs underneath both eyes from her cutting me with the threat. This is amateur work and should be free if she is still in practice mode.
