I am visiting Miami for the week and stumbled across this place. I was a walk in and they took me immediately for eyebrow threading. I wish I would have gotten the young woman's name and asked for the price up front. This woman botched my eye brows then tried to throw make up over top of it. Then proceeds to charge me $30.00 for it. I asked for a clean up. Now my eye brows are uneven and chipped. It's as if she has never threaded eye brows before. I could have done a better job waxing my own and I suck lol but at least I know basic symmetry . 2 days later I know have scabs underneath both eyes from her cutting me with the threat. Booked the brow lamination online for $95 which was described as Lamination + grooming. I enjoyed the service provided and the result- my brows do look great. However, i was charged the extra $27 for the grooming- I didn't get shaping or excessive clean up because there was no need for that. I got a little bit of threading which to me was part of the grooming. Not a big deal but I really don't like having to pay for extra services that are unnecessary and honestly not even performed. I came to Paulynn to avail on a Groupon I had for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. They were accommodating and were able to squeeze me in for a same day appointment. Parking was a bit tough to find so if you don't live too far from the area, I would suggest taking an Uber or Lyft! The staff at Paulynn were nice and attentive; I was immediately offered a glass of water once I checked in. The place is also very clean and well decorated. Not only that, there was a lot of colors to choose from which is great! It took me a bit to pick a color but my manicure and pedicure came out perfectly! My manicure lasted just a little over two weeks (amazing) and my pedicure is just now starting to need a bit of freshening up (mind you, my visit here was a little over a month ago). To say that I'm impressed by the quality of their service and their polishes would be an understatement. Before I left, I also decided to try out their eyebrow shaping. Paulynn was wonderful at talking me through my eyebrow shape and the best ways to use an eyebrow product to shade them in. I have been here before and a great experience, however my last visit was pretty terrible. First let me mention, the new manager they have there (the one who takes phone calls, payments, etc) is wonderful, the owner however does not have the same sense of urgency and tact. I watched the owner give an hour long manicure to a woman, going 45 minutes past my appointment time. So I sat waiting for almost an hour and a half because I arrived early to my appointment. When I got in the chair, I have to say, this was the worst gel manicure I've ever had, and despite taking her time on the customer ahead of me, she rushed through mine in about 15 minutes (I believe I was the last appointment and she wanted to leave). The color gel coats she painted are really thin and patchy, while she globbed on the clear overcoat. My nails chipped WITH GEL after 4 days (gel is supposed to last at least two weeks), and after three day they looked like they had been wearing for three weeks with it wearing off the tips of my nails. I wasn't going to write the review, but when my nails actually chipped after four days I knew I must. I would not suggest this nail salon at all. Terrible service, and the poor salon manager seems to be running around keeping clients happy that the owner is blowing off. The picture is of a chip that happened after four days. Worst gel manicure I've ever had in my life. Never go here. Response: at every other nail salon I have been to if the polish is thin or patchy they do three coats. I flew into Miami for my Bachelorette party and wanted my brows done, I had made an apt but arrived earlier than expected, I called on my way and she said it was fine to come earlier. So since it was the day before the 4th, my job let us out early (yay!) and I was in desperate need of a mani. With my newborn daughter, I barely have time for anything anymore. So since I normally don't do my nails on the beach, I hit the web for a suggestion. That's where I stumbled upon a Groupon for this little shop. Thankfully they had availability for a mani. The shop is a cute small shop. I was hoping I would really like it so I can come in after work. Meaning I would be willing to spend $45 on a gel mani because it's convenient. The lady who attended me was nice but the work was so sloppy. There are streak marks everywhere. She couldn't find her brush so she used her nail and it left space between the nail and the cuticle. Got eyelash extensions done for the first time by Gaga. I have never had eyelash extensions done, and I really wanted to get them before I went on a cruise. Gaga was great at listening to my needs, I told her exactly what I like and didn't like, and my lashes came out beautifully, and natural looking. My sisters said you couldn't even tell my eyelashes were extensions. I used a Groupon, and what I liked about it is that your eyelashes are not limited to what you can and can't get with a Groupon. The process took about two hours and towards the end I did get a little restless. At the end Gaga did a great job of explaining how to maintain my lashes and when to return. I found about this place 1 month ago from Groupon and then I did a little research on Yelp to see what other people think about it. Only great reviews so I said to give it a try. So happy that I did. I came just for a manicure and I ended up getting my eyebrows done as well. Both perfectly done. Rachel did my nails and I couldn't have been happier with the shape that she gave me. Not to mention the fact that my nails actually lasted me for 3 weeks! I came back today for a manicure and eyebrows and I left extremely disappointed. First off, I made my appointment yesterday morning for 10 o'clock. Got there today in time and Paulynn took me for the eyebrows. 3 other appointments came in for lashes but there were only two people working in the morning. I told Rachel that I would go with French today but I want a very subtle one and that I want the white strip very thin. She cleaned the gel from last time and she left my nails soak while she did the lashes for another customer, thing that I didn't mind at all. Paulynn took over my nails and don't get me wrong, I'm sure that she's extremely good at what she's doing, but today she was in a rush. Big time! And I'm so disappointed because I paid 75$ plus tip for nails that I really don't like because they have different shapes, the white strip from the French is not thin as I wanted, cuticles aren't cut properly and I still have extra polish on my fingers. Not to mention the fact that I brought a second offer from Groupon for 19$ and I was told that I can't use it because that was my second time there. 5* for the first time, only 2* for the second time. The service here is the best I've found on the beach. After living here for 3 years, it can be really tough finding a quality nail salon that doesn't charge $$$ for a gel manicure. I probably won't visit any other nail salon in the future. Worth the price for quality services. Making an appointment was very easy. They worked with my schedule and were even to reschedule me after another commitment arose. The person who answered the phone was knowledgeable and polite. There is street parking and at 5pm on a Monday I didn't have trouble finding a spot closeby. The storefront is unassuming, but don't let that fool you! The service here is the best I've found on the beach. Feeling unwell that day, they brought me a blanket and hot green tea, immediately seating me in the massage chair. Ana did my mani and pedi, and her work is fabulous. She took her time and meticulously trimmed my cuticles away (painlessly). I was looking for a specific color for the pedicure that most salons no longer carry, but they had it! I paid an extra $10 for the callus remover, 100% worth it for the pedi. My feet haven't looked this good since I was in middle school. Since the mani-pedi was so great, I went ahead and asked Paulynn to clean up my Frieda eyebrows. I would not recommend doing any kind of Acrylics or nail here. Went in to get my eye brows done and regular nails, after one of the worker suggest that there gel acrylic was safe and should try, I tried & 7 days later my fingers started burning and nails started splitting in half, skin peeling and cannot use 3 of my fingers because of the severe pain, no motion in them, all swollen, Never have I experience this. Went in to get them completely remove and though someone remove them, there was no sincerity in trying to help repair or regular mani to make look better, now difficult trying to go other places because of the pain and condition my nails were left in , there very hesitate to do thinking they will damage further. read more

This was my first time at this salon, I read good reviews so I wanted to try it out. When I got there the lady at the front desk was super helpful and the atmosphere was great. I sat down and the lady asked me if I needed anything to drink and was super nice but now the problem started with the lady who was doing my nails. Throughout the time she was doing my nails she kept getting calls and was answering all of them which in my opinion was super unprofessional, she also told me it was her first day working there. She kept cutting my skin while talking on the phone and I don't think she knew how to work the drill. I asked for coffin but honestly what I got was a mix of different shapes almost like almond. I paid 60 which DEFINITELY was NOT worth it. Overall the place is great but the lady who was working on my nails was not. I was debating with myself if to post my review or not. This is my fav place and I really don't want it to get crowded, but well people deserve to know who is the best so here we go. I have been doing my lash extensions for 3 years already. I am allergic to mascara and extensions are the only solution for me to make my eyes look good. I had a girl in Brickell but getting from the beach to Brickell and back can be a hassle. For 1 hour appointment Trent I had to clear half of my day agenda. I found several places on the beach some more expensive than others and tried them. Paulynn has fair prices ( I am still saving around $10) from my trips on Uber over the bridge) Now it is my regular place to do my lashes and I also started doing my nails there. The energy is very good there. Even that lashes are done in the main area I always manage to have a nice nap. They have nice and not too loud music they talk in a moderate voice and all ambience invites you to relax. As for lashes, my natural lashes are actually grow longer and stronger now. read more

I called the salon before I purchased a groupon for eyebrow shaping and tinting. I was told I had never used a groupon before (they only accept one) so I was free to purchase it. Paulynn, who had been so professional the time before, questioned me about the groupon, then proceeded to tell me brow lightening would be an additional $25 (lightening not even listed on the website). She used a $5.00 jar of jolen bleach and charged me an additional $25. When a friend of hers came in, she talked with him for the ENTIRE time she was shaping my brows. Worst place to get your eyebrows done. I asked for a clean up and she ended up ripping hairs out that I have never touched before. None of the hairs were cleaned and they knew I was unhappy and still charged me. Now I have uneven eyebrows, so dont waste your money. read more
