The place had a very nice vibe and seemed very popular. Classy decor but casual feel. The enclosed glass wine cooler was amazing to see. The wine glasses.... Well everything in TX is bigger. They were goblets and so pretty. Our server was Viviana, who was very sweet and polite. The bread was so soft and hot. But so much for two people, I felt bad not eating it all. One loaf would have been enough. I ordered a cucumber drink w/o alcohol: SO good. Mango salad with chicken for me. He had steak, lobster tail and a glass of Austin Hope red wine. Food was delicious! Next time we are in El Paso- we're coming back and making reservations to guarantee a seat. Plenty of parking but... people can't see nor pay attention to the faded arrows on the ground showing which way to go. I had to back all the way out of the row back to the entrance because a big 4x4 truck went the wrong way to exit! It was dangerous because of the sharp turn into the parking lot from the steer. Next time we will Find parking on the left side- because some people don't care.

Julius mentioned that he has worked at Cattleman's for five years, and I really appreciate seeing a business that retains its employees. Hopefully that's a reflection of how well they treat their staff, because the service we received was outstanding. Employees like Adalia and Julius are what truly make a restaurant memorable. The food was just as impressive as the service. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, and Julius recommended ordering the herbed butter and the Tampiqueña topping on the side. I am so grateful he suggested that because it was absolutely delicious and the perfect complement to the steak. He also helped several people in our group choose their meals, and every single recommendation was spot on. I honestly don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu, but I also don't think I would have enjoyed my meal nearly as much without his thoughtful suggestions. Every side dish was excellent, from the baked potatoes, corn, beans, coleslaw, and fresh bread to the incredible desserts that finished off the meal perfectly. Beyond the amazing food and exceptional service, we loved the atmosphere of the ranch. The views were beautiful, I had a blast feeding the animals, and seeing the film history added such a unique touch to the experience. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience in every way. Great food, outstanding service, beautiful surroundings, and a fun atmosphere. If you're visiting the area, Cattleman's is an absolute must-visit!

This restaurant is very unassuming and a hidden gem that is located in a strip mall. From the exterior, it's hard to know what to expect but when you walk in the restaurant, it's got a good ambience to it. It could make for a romantic date night, dinner or more casual dining experience at the bar, Overall it was a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. They offer booth seating, romantic table seating for two or more and seating at the bar. The hostess and the servers were very attentive. We received excellent service from the bar as well. The drink that I chose was a Side Car and coming from LA, we have great Mixology, but I have to say that this drink blew me away. And could possibly be one of the best whiskey cocktails I've had in a long time! It was so well, balanced, and perfectly crafted. We ordered the mussels and the fish of the day which was the trout in a lemon wine caper sauce. Both were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we ordered both the chocolate mousse and the crème brûlée. I did not try the chocolate mousse, but my daughter said it was amazing. The crème brûlée was also perfectly made. The server, Bruléd at the table and that was a nice touch. I have had a lot of crème brûlée desserts and have my top five and I have to say this was probably on the list. So happy that we stumbled upon this place and I will probably be visiting one more time before I go back home. I highly recommend it!

Expectations and reality were nothing alike. As we were seated our waiter took 10 min to great us and then another 12 min to bring our drinks. I didn't think anything of it yet it was a precursor to the rest of our dinner. After he took our order our kids food came out in a very timely fashion but our two orders of salmon and one steak sandwich took 40 min to arrive at the table. What a ridiculous waste of my time because my sandwich was missing the fries ordered and our waiter thought nothing of it till I brought it up then he took another 10 min to bring my fries. All this while simultaneously forgetting the sauce for the salmon which also took another 10 min to bring out. The salmon was so dry it was tacky and stuck to your teeth. If you know the feeling you know it's bad. The rice that came underneath the salmon was crunchy and way undercooked. All while the waiter was like oh I can bring you free deserts for your wait all while I could only think about how I just wanted to leave. I was internally livid and exhausted but kept it to my self after seeing the owner or manager who we the guy with the white hair over at the bar enjoying a few alcoholic beverages meanwhile his restaurants service and waitstaff to the worst possible job they can. I saw the people who got the most attention and good service were all regulars sitting at the bar laughing it up with the manager/owner older guy. Why not make sure your restaurant is running smoothly and food is being delivered and prepared properly and stop trying to impress the regulars who most likely will show up either way. Any restaurant that is this unorganized and unmotivated is due to crappy management. All this and the waiter is like I'll comp you for the steak sandwich with a discount for the bad service and salmon which was a whopping $5. I don't want a discount I don't want free day old desserts I want good service and decent food. Discounts and free desserts will never fix the problem because it will always be a crutch for trashy customer service. How about stop drinking with the guests and whoop that staff into semi decent shape buy some high chairs and make sure your expo does a once over quality check on the food and time it takes to get to the table EVEN if that means stepping in and doing it yourself. The restaurant is dark the tables are sticky the whole place is very compact . Perfect and quite attractive after 5-6 wines for sure. I'm sure the food is outstanding after a few drinks as well . They gave us a $25 dollar gift card to return which if I could I'd give to the owner so he could experience the same horrible food and service we did. I wouldn't even give the gift card to someone I hated. This was one of the first times in a long time I didn't just let it slide because I understand all restaurants and people have bad days but this was exceptionally bad. If you are thinking it can't be that bad think again it absolutely can. The whole "I'm sorry we usually have awesome service and everyone loves our food it's probably just me and my family " is laughable . This isn't my first time here while visiting El Paso. The food is getting worse.

The staff was incredibly accommodating, and our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and so helpful with recommendations. The amuse-bouche of watermelon with Tajín-style seasoning was a refreshing and thoughtful start. The wedge salad was the standout of the night, generously portioned, perfect for sharing, and absolutely delicious. The pesto spaghetti was equally impressive, with a beautifully balanced sauce that wasn't overpowering. I ordered the miso black cod, which was cooked perfectly and beautifully flaky. While it leaned a bit salty for my taste, the quality of the dish still stood out. The ambiance is dark and intimate, perfect for an upscale dinner, and the iPad menus were a helpful modern touch. Overall, the exceptional hospitality and standout dishes made this a wonderful dining experience, especially after a long travel day. I would absolutely return.

We placed our main plates @ 7 pm, I and a few others ordered the ribeye, it was not worth the $86 a plate. Our food came an hour and a half later, we were all ready to leave. Mind you the only other table that was there when we ordered was a two top and a three top that had received their food already. The ribeyes were cold some over cooked, some under cooked and it was just not good. I can cut my own steaks from Sam's and have a better meal. I'm sorry but out of the 14 of us maybe 1 person was happy with their meal. The only saving grace was the service and the dessert. I'm glad I didn't pay for the dinner

We were lied to the minute we walked in. We were told it would be a 10-minute wait. It was about a 25-minute wait. The server was nice until after seating us, as she decided not to serve us. She got our drink orders wrong and delivered them to the wrong guests. We had to play the matching game by sipping each other's drinks. And she never came by to refill. We had to ask. It took forever for us to order our food. And our food didn't get to us until almost an entire hour after ordering. Ummm that was horrible. We were sitting for almost two hours before food got to us. Two of our orders of steaks were ordered as medium-rare, and our steaks were dry AF. I told the waitress that we wanted a new steak, and she brought back the steak while flashing a flashlight over it to defend her cook, saying it is medium-rare and to look at it again. Never have I ever experienced a flashlight being used over our food to prove a non-valid point. At this point, I was so freakin hungry that I did not want to argue, and so I ate the dry steak. Do yourself a favor and take a drive to Victoria's Steakhouse. We were there a couple of days prior to visiting this restaurant and they have the perfect medium rare steak!
