He was able to come the day and time he said and they completed the job of 2 cubic yards for the price quoted, and did it rather quickly. I chose cedar mulch as I like the smell and some bugs such as moths and termites don't love it. The Cedar mulch was a nice blend from small to chunky as I'd expected. I'm very happy with the results. With a short amount of time to freshen the front yard, I reached out to several options for mulch. Ron replied to my request for a quote with a fair estimate. He remained a clear communicator as we worked to get things scheduled, and he ended up taking part of his planned day off to fit in my job so it would meet the deadline. PERFECT PRODUCT FOR MY RAISED BEDS. Wow! what a great service. Ron just came by with 1 cubic yard of "Standard mulch." These are roughly chopped , forest products and they are exactly what I use for my "back to Eden" no-till raised beds. They are dry, with a good consistency, not to big not to small and break down into excellent soil. I have not had much luck with getting mulch at the free composting facilities. the consistency is way to rough and moldy, and too many weeds, and for so many raised beds I have to make too many trips. Ron doesn't just dump it on the street, he actually halls it in and lays it out for you. He sells also decorative mulches, gorilla hair and bark nuggets. 1 yard minimum. Which will easily top 3-4 inches in at least three 8x4 raised beds. I ended up having extra which is fine because It does settle a little. Very satisfied. read more
