Beware. In trimming my palm trees they damaged a young tree in my yard. Refused accountability. Then claimed it had done it on my own. Fast forward, gave them another shot, they completed a bid, I approved the bid, then was never contacted to schedule the work. Zero explanation "we dont know what happened." The City of Lancaster had Tip Top Arborists take out the large tree in the public area on the other side if my wall that had roots that were damaging my cement. The roots had cracked my cement & were lifting up some of the cement as much as an inch. Glenn and the rest of the crew cut down the tree & cleaned up everything in 6 hours. They left the area where the tree had been so clean, you wouldn't even know that a tree had been there previously. Meeting my new neighbors I was horrified to see that the roots from my Australian willow tree had undermined my neighbors driveway and side walk causing major damage. My new neighbor stated that he would cut the roots from the tree and I thought it would be best to have the tree removed. I started my search with my gardener and other non-licensed arborist. My gardener explain that he would have to rent all of the equipment and he would not be able to make any money on the project. The price range was over $1000 to have the tree removed. I've had two experiences with Tip Top Arborists and both have been outstanding. On each occasion, several years apart, I had a Tip Top expert check out the massive oak trees on my property. They are incredible trees (and the reason I purchased the property!) which both experts estimated to be 400-500 years old- these are enormous, heritage oaks. And both times, I was told the the trees were in good health and doing well and that, unless I wanted to spend money making them look a little tidier by removal of some small dead or broken branches, to simply leave them alone. Communication with both the office and the tree experts was efficient and fast in both instances. Each expert freely offered advice and suggestions about some other trees and landscape questions I had, in a friendly manner. Tip Top Arborists was a great company to work With. Chris, the Certified Arborist/Estimator, came out to my home to give me a price for having trees trimmed, four of which are Chilean Pepper Trees in the front of the house. Chris answered all of my questions, gave me a verbal quote, and the next day the office called to set up an appointment for the work to be done. A few weeks later the crew of four showed up on time, and Jose was the foreman with the bucket truck. Another thing that impressed me was that Chris, the original estimator, showed up at the same time to brief Jose so that my trees would be trimmed the way he envisioned. The crew also had a sign down the street advising drivers that there was tree trimming ahead and they had orange cones around their vehicles in the driveway as well as the vehicles that were parked on our country road.
