Their advertisement states they have a license and so does their business card however after receiving their bid to trim 6 palm trees and remove a dead palm tree, and after I accepted their bid and hired them to do the job, I decided to check their license status just to be sure it was valid and it wasn't valid, it's not active, they are currently not licensed or insured which puts me the homeowner at great risk if they got hurt on my property I could get sued and when I questioned the owner his response was unacceptable see attached screen shots to read his responses to me. I ended up hiring a different "licensed and insured" company who ended up being cheaper so I'm even saving money using them instead. read more

I called for an estimate after calling four other tree services, 1 after setting an appointment failed to show (CC), 1 called 2 days beyond the "office" said I would receive within 2 days (4 days later TTA), the other two FAILED to bid on the job I requested for the estimate and added in more trees to bid up the cost. DO NOT USE! I was given a price by LJ to take down a pine and thin out 3 small peppers. He said had a job in Quartz Hill and would be to my house in Acton between 1-3 pm. No show!! My wife called LJ's # on the business card 2 times, no reply! At 6pm I called Kenneth, his number is on the business card as well. They provided a bid in a timely fashion and executed the work beautifully for a fair price, Ours was a big job and they were well prepared and completed the job in the time promised. Unbeknownst to any of us, some tree roots had wrapped around some of our sprinklers deep underground. So when they pulled out one of the trees that needed to be removed, a sprinkler broke, which was no fault of theirs. We were unable to get to the broken pipe due to additional huge roots. Upon calling them, they returned after working hours and happily gave us additional time of very hard labor cutting out more deeply buried roots so that we could do the sprinkler repair and get our water turned back on that night. I sat and watch them do my nieces palm tree and we all know how tall they could get, this one was extremely tall, first of all not only did one of the gentlemen climb the tree, they started cutting it down from the top, "unbelievable", and the bark was ginormous. Performance Tree Service is trimming our front of house palm tree. Removing all dead fronds, trimming the trunk to appear more smooth, thinning out the top a bit so it's not as good of a raven nest location. The guys are quickly picking up dead fronds and chipping them. My front lights are covered so they'll receive no damage from falling debris. They're ready with blower and brooms to leave a clean area. Conscientious! I know it all grows back, so I asked for the top palm leaves to be cut way back. Pricing was reasonable, an excellent value when I see the beautiful job on the palm tree and the clean up afterward. (Way less than the "famous" tree trimmers in our valley.) Kenneth and his crew showed up ready to work. We have 2 large fruitless Mulberry trees. We wanted one trimmed down for the winter and one removed entirely. They got to work right away.
