I used performance tree service today. This was the best service that I have utilized, received and paid for in a very long time. Everyone was nice and knew exactly what to do when to do it. They knew their equipment and they knew how to do their job. They showed up on time with more then enough man/woman power and got the job done. We used this company before to trim 2 large trees we had and they did a great job and they were local which was a plus so when we needed the tree in our front yard completely removed it was a no brainer who we wanted to use, in fact we misplaced the card and searched for them for quite awhile to give them our business. Well this time it didnt go as well. They left all the stump you see and LJ told my husband something about the water main and said he would come out and 'see' what he could do. Well that was days ago when LJ failed to come by, and he also stopped answering my husbands calls. He could have at least came by to show us why he couldnt do what we were requesting. They removed the tree true enough but we dont appreciate being disregarded when we dont understand or see what is being told to us. I am so disappointed in this customer service with this tree service and I will no longer recommend them. Here are the pictures of what they left behind for us. On July 19, i had this company come out and cut down two trees. Work was quick and clean. In the process they dropped a tree on the corner of my roof. Damaged my roof and rain gutter. At the time it happened they said no problem that they would have it repaired, that they had a man that they used for this. The man was to come out on the 22nd of July. Called when he didnt show up and was told it would be the next day. Called the next day when he didnt show up and they said it would be the next day. Didnt hear from them anymore after that. Had to get a roofing contractor to come in on the 5th of August to have the repairs made. My suggestion is dont pay in cash and get everything in writing before the job is performed. I will not use them again and will not recommend them to anybody i know. read more

Kenneth and team are complete professionals. We had a tricky situation with our neighbors trees looming over our fence and flooding the pool with leaves and pine needles. I had a tree in my frontyard removed and in the process this company damaged my sprinkler system and said nothing abouts the damage covered it up with the dirt and removed the damaged pipe and two sprinkler heads and took it with them and said absolutely nothing about the damage , " it is like I said hey by the way can you also damage my sprinkler system". The owner of performance tree service never explained possible issue and damages. this is not right nor professional to do this to a customer (female) cause I'm sure if I was a guy this wouldn't have happened. I called and spoke with the owner( who was present on the day the tree was removed and had to have know the sprinkler system was damaged) and he told me that he would send someone to my home and fix the sprinkler situation but this was a lie just to end our conversation. So now I have to hire a sprinkler professional to fix the damage and take this issue to court and have a judge to decide. read more

These guys squeezed my job in the day after I called them (after finishing 2 jobs before mine) and took down a roughly 65ft tall, 40 year old pine tree with trunks as big as 18" diameter in less than half a day. It would have been even faster if my tree hadn't filled their entire chipper bed forcing them to make a dump run. My tree was overhanging the street, and severely leaning and was definitely an accident waiting to happen. I can sleep easy now that I won't be hearing the wind whipping through that beast and giving me panic attacks about it falling over and hitting someone! I would highly recommend this tree service. I needed a very large pine tree removed that was lifting the driveway and sidewalk. The men arrived at the appointed time, were very courteous and efficient, removing the pine and three other smaller trees within a couple of hours. I asked them back to clear out the jungle on the side of the house which was so overgrown from last winter's rains that the path was nearly gone. I would absolutely recommend this group for your tree services! We got them to remove 7 trees. 4 Cypress and 3 palm trees, one which was about 30ft tall, maybe bigger. They got to our home early and immediately got started. They estimated over 5 hours of work and got it done in about 3. They were quick and very professional. They would show us their work in progress as they were working to make sure we were satisfied. They were careful in their trimming to make sure our pool wasn't damaged. They also cleaned up after themselves and by the end, it looked like we never even had trees! Our neighbors also took advantage and one removed their front house tree and the other neighbor asked to get theirs trimmed. They did such an amazing job on all of our tree trimming/removal needs. These guys were excellent. First, Kenneth came out to see the scope of work we needed done. He not only impressed me with his knowledge of all the trees on my property, but also instantly "got" what needed to be done -- from felling dead elms to grinding stumps to chipping years' worth of accumulated brush, to removing mistletoe from oaks. A week later, he and his crew came back, armed with a powerful chipper, a boom truck with bucket, a stump grinder, and 7 hard-working guys.
