Whenever it rained my garage ceiling would leak. The roofer said it was the window above the garage and the window guys were saying it's my roof. Seemed like no one wanted to get involved. Easily the best client service and quality of work in the business. My family picked Borja Renovations for framing, wiring, and roofing a residential 4bed 3 bath. Not a small job, the house is 2700 sqft 2 story with a basement and even with weeks of rain, sloppy blueprints, double sided shearwalls on over 50% of the house, a very complicated building process, and picky city inspectors, Jorge and his team put up perfectly square and level walls in less than 3 weeks. I even checked. I took a separate crew throughout the building to make sure; we threw plumb bobs at the ends of the ridge boards, laser on every corner and subfloor and his crew wasn't even 1/4" off level or plumb across the entire structure. Borja Renovations also come with some of the best materials and equipment suppliers in the world. I have no idea where he found 5/8" structural and inspected plywood with 24hr turnaround for as low as he did, but there it was, impressing even the city inspector. Then there's his network of deputy inspectors. Did you know the city isn't the only group you have to pay to sign off on your construction? You need deputy inspectors to look at every structural element of your home and Jorge has guys for each and every thing. And they don't let him skate either, count nail patterns, check plans, and do things by the book--all for lower than I can get anyone off Yelp or Angie's List (AFTER haggling). Then there's his connections to auxiliary trades. Borja Renovations managed our roofing contractor as well, knocking out paper, flashing, and shingles in 2 days. And the scaffolding guys quoted us half the cost of the next cheapest I could get any contractor to offer--I'm still here, able to write online reviews about the business so I think it's safe to say they did a good job. In addition to framing, we've seen fantastic work in electrical. Borja Renovations ran over 6,000' of wiring for rough electrical in phenomenal time. It was a blessing having the electrician and our framers be the same team so I could cut down a ton of the coordination required to finish the project. I've spent almost a year looking for the right people for this project and Borja Renovations are the best of the best. This is a huge referral based business so drop me a DM if you want a real person to tell you this is the right company for your work. Jorge shows up at the hour he says he's going to, always answers calls, always looks at his emails on a job, and sticks to the price he shook your hand on. Borja Renovations is the kind of business that lets you see what it's like when great skill, excellent communication, dependability, courtesy, and value come together. My family and I are very glad we hired Jorge (and his teammates, Francisco and Hector) to do a fairly comprehensive update of our home, which was in its original 1991 state of design. These men installed new flooring in 85% of the living space, knocked down a wall and opened up a new passageway, overhauled ceiling lighting in several areas, converted a garage section into a workroom, updated plumbing, installed a suite of new appliances, backsplash tile, upgraded the fireplace tiles, custom built and installed a mantle, master bathroom demolition and replacement, water filtration, ceiling fans, electrical wiring upgrades, etc. The "finish" quality of everything is A+. These dudes are hard working and very efficient. Jorge offered great advice, always kept us informed regarding next steps, and his billing and task confirmation documentation system is very easy to follow. Some early photos are attached. My husband and I are so happy with the work George did for us at our rental property.. He communicated extremely well.. very friendly trustworthy and fairly priced. We had an old rotted out little bridge over a deep pond that the previous owner put in.. He filled in the dangerous hole and created a sweet beautiful very shallow dry rock creek in its place.. our yard is much safer now... and it looks great! George also nicely repaired our outside wall with stucco because we had to remove our old swamp cooler. Beautiful job! Extremely thorough and great work. Thank you George for a job well done! Where do I begin.... Jorge and his team made this the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. He came out to assess my bathroom remodel and even gave suggestions on functionality and space. I gave him my budget, and he gave me a thorough written estimate. From day one until the end of the project, he and his team were always early or on time. I had to make several trips on the weekend to the tile store. I could not believe it when he answered the phone each and every time to provide me with the answers to my questions. During the project, there was an issue with mold and rotten wood. He made sure to show me the issue at hand and offer the solutions along with the additional pricing to correct the error (some contractors may have covered it up not wanting to interrupt their timeline). Each day, he and his team made sure that their area was left clean. I had a big water damage into my house I need a contractor to rebuild , Jorge came over and initialy run my opion of what we can do to maximize the rebuild. as we proceed we had time on when to start he push it forward knowing that we can start on demo so when the date of the plan we can hit the ground running jorge walk me to all the step easy to get ahold even on weekend (sorry jorge) if I have a question in regard to messurement and tiles he would pick up. we stay on his price . We hired Jorge to frame and rebuild a garage wall and door. (It was much more complicated than it sounds!). From the beginning, Jorge was an excellent communicator, asking questions so he understood what we wanted and ensuring that every detail was to our specs. He got to work immediately, working all day, so that the project was finished even earlier than he'd promised. I also noticed that he used high-quality materials. Along the way, he even volunteered minor improvements we hadn't even thought of, so that the finished product looked perfect. For example, he realized during the job that in order for some of the frosted windows on a "fake" wall to look more realistic, he would need to paint the drywall behind them black or dark blue so they would match. He not only thought of this, but purchased the correct shade of paint, suggested the change, and didn't even charge us for it. Another example: he installed a new front door for us, and I decided we wanted a peep hole. It's an ornate design with unusual sizes, but he measured, cut the hole, and put it in (no extra charge). He's punctual, honest, communicative, and fair. Most of all, he's someone with integrity who is proud of his work and has the ethic to do it well. I very, very highly recommend him for your project, big or small. We are still deciding how to finish it with stain or paint, but you can see in the photo that his workmanship is EXCELLENT. Wow, incredibly honest company!!! So glad i asked them to swing by for an estimate on work I wasn't sure whether or not I needed to do. There was an issue with my roofing I thought might be a problem. George came out the same day I called, was courteous, prompt, and very informative answering all my questions. He ended up recommending I not worry about the situation, that it would be ok as is, saving me thousands of dollars in unnessesary cost. He then took ten minutes to walk my entire roof pointing out small fixes I could do on my own, and even recommending the exact products I could buy at big-box chains for the repairs. He didn't charge for any of this. He could easily have sold me on expensive fixes that were optional, but didn't do that at all. Just the opposite. When I do have a problem that needs fixing, I will definately call Borja Renovations. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this company for honesty, timeliness, and courtesy.
