We have some wood floors we wanted serviced that included replacing some bad planks. Luckily, we found a few planks from the previous owners. Carlos arrived for the estimate on time and gave us honest and sincere information. Unfortunately our floors could not be sanded and refinished due to the lack of available wood on the old planks. Carlos recommended polishing and sealing the floors as well as replacing the bad planks under the fridge and some others through the kitchen. On the day for the work to be done, Carlos and his crew arrived on time and got right to work on the repairs. Day 2 was sealing day and I have to say the end result looks great. About 1200 sqft and 60 linear feet of baseboard extension for the sunken bedroom. Carlos came to our house with a sample sheet. Then measured and made an estimate that evening. Everything was above-board, in writing, licensed, and insured. The work done was beautiful, timely, and efficient! There was no materials markup: he put me in contact with his supplier, and I bought directly from them through his business account or cash if I preferred. That was good because we changed our mind about the color when we could see the large samples at the showroom. When the flooring arrived, he advised us to acclimate it for 24 hours, what a pro, then he installed it all over the weekend! We wanted to keep the existing wood laminate, you know, save $600, but he and we knew it would look much better if we replaced it all. Just look at the photos. I called CWF Flooring after receiving them, the owner, Tyler proceeded to yell at me and tell me it was my fault for accepting a shipment that was damaged. When I explained the circumstances and that I had documentation, he proceeded to tell me that "we were not going to get along" and hung up on me! The district and myself have called several times to inquire about a replacement and this company is avoiding our calls instead of filing a claim and having them replaced which should be an easy fix. That is what insurance is for! I provided pictures and video to CWF Flooring to show the damaged packaging. Save yourself any issues and DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
