When I went to the store to look at samples (which they have ALOT of) he took his time explaining the different types and their pros and cons with what I needed and wanted. Metro Floors did right by us once again! We used them 12 years ago and we're very happy with their quality of service then. When it came time to look for carpeting again we thought we would go with Lowe's. We found an inexpensive carpet that we liked. When we received the quote to install the labor was more than the carpet. We went back to Metro floors spine with Sean and he gave us a great price on carpeting! He came out did the measurements and he beat out Lowe's price. The installers Richard and Aaron came out today and did a spectacular job installing. 2 very hard working and professional men. I am disappointed to write a review to say I am not 100% satisfied with Metro Flooring. First of all, it started all wrong from the get go. Our salesperson was Roxane and she didn't even remember our appointment time. Was this a sign? But I let it go, thinking she was probably busy or simply forgot. I called her and a few hours later she came by to make measurements and do an estimate. After that, she told me to come to the warehouse to pick materials and look around to see what they have. .....Ok, fast forward. I done that and a down payment and financing were made. The installation process of all flooring and countertops fabricated and performed were perfect. We were happy with the outcome and we were thinking, let's do the upstairs too. I told Roxane about the upstairs but we still have to paint. And that we will do upstairs afterwards. The work done wasn't the issue. It is the communication within the process that was lacking. When I had a question about the flooring she told me the guy would come the following Monday. The next day (Friday), he rang my doorbell and informed me Roxane told him to arrive that day. Well she communicated the wrong info to me! There was an issue or misunderstanding with the sink and the fabricator told me to text Roxane directly. I texted her and told her what was going on. I was waiting and waiting and waiting for a response. No response. She apparently was texting him (he told me) and NOT texting me back. Then after he completed the work he left behind his drop cloth and forgot to get our old kitchen sink. I texted Roxane. No response. A few days later I texted her to remind her the sink and drop cloth were still not picked up. She texts back saying she will pick up the things when she will do estimates for our upstairs. At this moment, I texted her we weren't going to do the upstairs yet and for her to just get the things left behind. Hours later she texted me and says she will be here the next day in the "am" to get them. Next day in the "am" she is a no show and no text. I even told her what I was doing. At 9am I texted that I was going to run errands and that I brought out the sink and drop cloth and left it in front of the garage so if she came by, it's right there for her to pick up ... still no call. No text. And when I came back from running my errands (3.5 hours later), the sink and drop cloth were still there. This seems to be her track record of not keeping her word for appointments and meetings, not communicating fully, and not even giving good customer service. I'm not asking for perfect customer service, just good,simple customer service. Well, a few hours later I texted her saying since it is inconvenient for her to pick up the things, I WILL BRING the old sink and the fabricator's drop cloth to her at the warehouse. She FINALLY TEXTED ME BACK!!! She said she came by the house and got everything and didn't even see my text messages. Something about being busy. Well I'm busy looking for another company to do my upstairs. read more

As promised I am updating my review. So I will say I love my carpet. I love how it feels. I love the padding. I love the color. I love the texture. It really is beautiful. As previously stated I had an issue with the execution. The seems to the wall are slightly choppy. And the carpet wasn't stapled well. So they came back that day to fix same day. I came to check and it was still lifting. They came back the next day. Finally it looks like they're all stapled down. I am so happy, because now there shouldn't be issues when we move in. I think they have good customer service, and we're attentive to the issues. The guys who worked on the carpet all 3 times were the same ones my hubby said, and I met them this last time.. they were very nice guys! Very nice. The little gaps I see at the seems still are irritating but whatever at this point. That clearly is just not cut straight. There's no way to fix that I assume without recutting the whole room areas again. Overall, in my experience I'm glad they tried to fix issues, they weren't asses about it. This was definitely a hassle I didn't want to deal with, but luckily in our situation we are still doing construction on other parts of the home, so it didn't affect our move in date. Everyone was friendly from being in the showroom looking at samples to being in my house installing. I hope this review helps other customers as well as the business. Very disappointed, I got referred to metro floors because they are supposedly the best in town, and I ended up very disappointed I walked in last week for a quote, the sales lady that was there Schedule an appointment for measurements. The day of the appointment someone was supposed to show up at 4:00pm and no one showed up I called them at 4:30 to see what was going on, and the same sales lady I believe her name is Roxanne took my phone call and sounded very careless she told me she forgot about the measurement appointment. This review is based on two excellent experiences with Metro Floors. In 2020, my wife and I helped with the renovation of her parents' home and we decided to go with light LVP flooring that Thom installed. His work was immaculate and he paid so much attention to detail. The house has many curves and odd cuts and each was done perfectly. He even practically rebuilt the stairs to make the flooring look better (see images). In July, we had Metro floors out again for our new-to-us home. My wife worked with Shaun in the showroom to find cost-effective solutions to replace the pink 1984 carpet and linoleum that we had. He was very professional and had Francisco and his team out to work on the project within a week. From start to finish, Francisco's team completed the job in 3 days (see images) and the end result was wonderful. First they were prompt in their appointment for an estimate. Their estimate was reasonable. They bid the job, scheduled, showed up timely and consistently until completion. The install is going on as I write this review. They are installing luxury plank vinyl flooring and doing an awesome job. The preparation and installation work is substantial. Best carpet purchasing experience and install ever!!! We needed to replace carpeting in 3 bedrooms and 2 bonus rooms and match it to the master bedroom, staircase and hallways which had been replaced a year ago after some remodeling. Sean was terrific assisting in matching the old new carpet that was no longer available. The install was perfect! Then heart break... red spots started showing up on the carpet. I called Sean in a panic. He and Mike came out almost immediately to see what the issue was. We concluded that it was tiny ink "balls" from and old ink pen that when touched burst. I called a carpet cleaner that Sean had recommended. He was able to get out all the spots except for 2 areas. Sean had the carpet installers come out and patch the 3 foot square area. It's perfect! Im assuming they are on contract or something, but they killed the install and represented Metro Floors the right way. Should have gotten there info for future projects.
