We recently replaced carpeting that we bought almost 20 years ago at Metro Floors. They have an excellent selection of floor covering and a very knowledgeable sales staff. Everyone in the store is helpful and friendly. The installers did an excellent job. They didn't make a single mark on our new baseboards and paint job. Highly recommend Metro Floors!!!! read more

I would like to brag about SEAN from Metro Floors. This company is one of the best flooring company AV has to offer. Let me tell you how great they are. So I got three estimates for flooring throughout AV and I decided to go with Metro Floors because I felt so comfortable with Sean and his great customer service skills. They have a big showroom and Sean invited me to come on by to check out flooring and I was there looking at numerous floorings. I was never rushed, he took the time to listen to my every needs and he delivered. There were a lot of complications with me buying my home, but Sean assured me that he will be available for me at anytime to install my flooring. I finally got my house 12/16/2020 and Sean had my flooring installed a few days before Christmas and my home was ready to move it. My home is 2200 sqft and all flooring was done. It was the best feeling and non stressful situation for me. He communicated with me everyday and they were never late to the job site. Everyone was professional and very courteous. Trust me if you need a flooring company choose Metro Floors you won't regret it. When you call Metro Floors ask for Sean! read more

First, let me start by saying I DID NOT begin here! We had someone come out and measure, and I wasn't comfortable that all he was saying to my grandparents was quite right. From the measurements, to saying "These two samples are the closest you're gonna get to what you had." I thought, there's no way! The price would have seemed close to OK, that is until I actually got close and touched the carpet, let alone compared the color and quality to we asked them to match. So I began looking... EVERYWHERE! And when I did, I learned a LOT. When I did, sadly, I just confirmed more and more that over the past couple of years, too many people seem nice but take advantage of what they CAN get from you, or think you're home looks nice so they can charge more, start adding in extras that you didn't need (but hey we wouldn't know). Prices seem to be more about what they could get away with adding, or what block we lived on, that all I hoped for, which was the best price for a job well done based on what it cost, and nothing more. At this point, I'd have done business with a jerk who was straight forward before someone with a kind voice and a smile who was willing to say anything to get the sale. I called and drove all over! We live in Woodland Hills, and I drove from local stores to Thousand Oaks all the way to Commerce, then from Simi Valley to Pasadena not to mention others and spoke to several more over the 2 months it took me to feel we found the right place and someone honest. Ours was a little more complicated, and I found too many people trying to convince us we wouldn't find what we wanted and showed us what we my grandparents needed to settle for. They're in their 90's and I didn't feel OK letting them get taken advantage of, and when I began looking elsewhere, and driving further, I began to find I was correct in thinking they just weren't being told the truth. So let me just say that in case it helps someone else, I've gone ALL OVER. From large stores to outlets, and looked for not only the best price, but someone who took the time to understand what we thought were common sense questions. We didn't want a good price to equal crappy carpet, we wanted someone willing to take the extra time to find us the best they could in our price range, and who'd take the time to hunt for they type and color we wanted. So when I tell you that we ended up deciding to stop looking elsewhere once I found and had my first couple conversations with and a first estimate with Roxanne, I knew I'd keep looking but it would all be with her! So, if you've already started looking elsewhere, and are about to go with someone else, I'm telling you to at least CALL her first! And if you haven't started yet, save yourself some time and just start here! If you want someone who will make the process enjoyable because they know their stuff, a pleasure to deal with and just a sweetheart, all boxes checked here. Also, if not finding the type/color you want elsewhere, THIS IS THE COLOR CENTER for Mowhawk, so they will have more IN STOCK samples of anything and everything by Shaw, Mowhawk, Karastan, whatever!! Now add to that that Roxanne is just precious and it matters to her that she can end making you happy when all has been said and done, and not just long enough to book the job and get a check. PS you'd think I have all the time in the world writing all this, but I've been meaning to write this for 4 weeks now, and just felt she deserved it and wished I could help others not get jerked around by finally putting it in writing! By the way, she sent Raphael as the head installer who was someone she felt especially confident in. He was great, and beyond honest and so helpful! Thanks to the both of you! OMG our carpet is just SOOOO soft! read more

My boyfriend and I recently moved into our first house and We expectedly needed carpeting asap before we could even move in. Our realtor suggested using Metro floors and so we gave him a call. I told him of our dire situation and with out hesitation he immediately came out and showed us what he had available. We chose the perfect fit and the very next day his guys were there to install the carpet. They hustled and got it done quick. The guys were extremely nice and professional, cleaned their mess after all was done and would have never been able to tell that they were there. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars for how amazing they were. We never encountered a company before that made us feel so important and trusted. We didn't pay until well after the install. We felt so relaxed and beyond happy with our new carpet. Thank you again Metro, I've already told everyone I know about you guys. The next flooring we ever need will only be through you! read more

I can't give any stars. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered. On May 29th, my husband and I went to metro floors. As we entered the business, there were 3 men at a desk about 20 feet away from the door. They all turned around to stare, but neither of them approached or greeted us. I went and stood next to the desk and said to them "I'd like to look at carpet". One of the men leaned forward and called someone. The only reason I knew it was someone for me was because, I heard his side of the conversation. We went and sat on the couch for about 15 minutes, before "Roxane" the design consultant appeared. She greeted us and we began to look at carpet. She took 2 calls, one of which was her husband. We made an appointment for her to come by and measure the next day. She was a half an hour late for the appointment. She had to re-configure her map. She said we have a beautiful home, shook my hand and said she would have a "quote" soon. At the end of the day she phoned to apologize and said, she wasn't able to get to my quote yet. This was Wednesday. She said she was going to help at her son's school on Thursday, so she would get back to me on Friday morning & I was first in line. At this point I said okay, that would give me time to get other estimates. She promised that she would have it ready Friday morning. Today is Monday and I haven't heard from her. While we were at the showroom, I asked Roxane if there was a better price, if we paid cash versus financing. She stated she would have to see. Since I haven't heard from her, maybe they don't take cash. read more

We had a great experience with Mr. Parker and he did not try to upsell us. We told him what we wanted to spend and he respected that. He showed us what was avail and that actually, it was not only reasonable and durable but one of the most popular choices. We really liked its looks, feel and quality. Parker even offered to come on Mother's Day, but we said no, go spend time with your family. So they came on Wednesday and began Thursday. The men Rafael and Ivan did a fabulous job and respectfully moved our furniture around so they could do the job. They knew it would be a 2-day job so they did the bedrooms first so we could set them back up for obvious reasons. It looks beautiful and elegant. Initially, we were going to Carpeteria, but we found the owner to be disinterested in our needs to bother and their sales lady was just rude beyond words. I'll take "Tommy Mohawk" over Carpeterias Jeannie Man any day. I plan on sitting on Metro carpet not flying on fly by night carpet that is sold by people who really don't care if they sell to you or not. Thank You, Metro for actually selling us a great Carpet and for less than your competitor and with friendly welcoming not put upon service. read more

Sales lady was 30 minutes late for our appointment. Walked in while talking to her kids on her phone. Came without a tape measure. Either delaying giving us the estimate. She was very nice but not very professional. Went with another local company, better prices read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Great customer service, excellent work on my laminate and tile floors. Courteous, professional, on time, reasonable pricing. The crew took pride in their work. Nothing was overlooked and I was well-informed about my purchase. Ask for Sean over there. The only place for floors!!! read more

I had problems with a floor installation. Metro helped me go over what was wrong and get my money back. Sean was very helpful. He answered any questions I had and sent Tom over to do the new installation. The work looks beautiful! My house was straightened up and cleaned every day at the end of working. They went above and beyond the usual as i can't move anything heavy. They finished quickly and were professional. I am very pleased and would recommend Metro Floors to all my friends. Thank you for all your help and hard work. read more

Outstanding customer service, great selection and terrific prices. My husband and I spent some time the last two Saturdays at Metro Floors. We are building a home out of state and needed somewhere local to view our choices for tile, etc. Not only did the owner check with us to see if we had any questions, he also gave us a physical sample of the tile we are choosing for our new home. We highly recommend to anyone in the AV looking for carpet, tile, flooring. Top notch! read more

I am so pleased with my experience from Metro Flooring. Sean came to my house twice, & was so helpful. The tile on my kitchen & laundry room floor had cracks in it, & needed replacing. I told Sean that I would like to have the same tile, as it matched the flooring in another room. He was able to match it, & told me that the reason it was cracking was due to not having a cement subfloor. The installers were beyond fantastic. They were very hard workers, & did a terrific job. I would definitely recommend Metro Flooring!! read more

Everyone at Metro floors were great to work with. Sean Rydell was very helpful in picking out just the right tile and carpet and was easily accessible whenever We had a question or needed any assistance. Larry the tile guy worked with us to create just the right designs for each of our rooms. The work was actually completed ahead of the time quoted! (Seriously, when does that happen?) Sean showed up during both the tile and carpet installations to make sure we were happy with the job and called to keep us updated the whole time. We definitely felt that the customer service and workmanship was excellent. read more

It was 4th of July weekend and we wanted to browse in Metro Floors as my significant other is a past and loyal customer and wouldn't consider any other vendor. Upon our arrival Mr. Parker was serving another customer so certainly we didn't expect to interrupt him. Once he finished with his customer, personally, I felt like we were getting the "bumb's rush". In baseball terms, I'll call it a foul as it was a holiday weekend. The flooring I seek I've had installed in previous homes, however, Mr. Parker said "nobody offers that anymore" (hmmm, that's a lie - strike one). Nevertheless, an appointment was made for the following weekend for Mr. Parker to come to our home to measure and discuss options. No show, and no call (strike two). Mid Monday morning Mr. Parker left a message on our voicemail to return his call. No apology or explanation was offered (strike three). We're taking our business elsewhere. I've now called Costco and will also check with Boulevard Flooring. read more
