A bathroom remodel is a huge investment and not without anxiety. Part of that anxiety was that we both dont have an eye for interior design and we needed help. That's where Sarah came in. She was patient and professional with us and walked us through the entire process and helped us pick out fixtures and details that turned out perfect. Once we signed the contract they jumped into action, they immediately scheduled us the following Monday and were in constant communication as what each days work would entail and they never missed a work day from start to finish. Be warned! We were suckered in to a total remodel, when all we initially wanted was counter tops. We met Sarah at the Almond festival and she came out to our home to take measurements followed by a consult. She's a very good sales rep. She had a total remodel image on the screen as well as full estimate, despite only wanting to do countertop. Well, we agreed (even though price was nearly double compared to other contractors). We trusted her and the fact she said they were in business 44 years and didn't use subcontractors (first lie). We picked out the countertops first. She showed us about 3 tiles of samples and suggested one. I commented I was wanting grey and white. This was cream and beige. She proceeded to tell us she'd seen the large slab of quartz and it was full of grey, it just didn't show up on that sample. So we took her at her word. Next we picked out cabinets. Instead of the same layout, she had the image up moving the dishwasher and stove. Suggested they'd be more accessible if we moved them. I wasn't a fan but my husband bought into it. Then we noticed due to the appliances being rearranged, I was losing drawer space, and given tiny cabinets. I prefer drawers, but again, she said we wouldn't be losing anything. Second lie. Then we selected the backsplash. Construction/Demo the first week went great. Wonderful communication with the workers who were very nice and cleaned everything. Week 2, not so great. Due to the fact we have several dogs, I had to stay upstairs with the dogs while they worked and all communication was through a group chat. They brought in the first subcontractor who had zero communication. I did not know when he left for lunch or even for the day, forcing myself and the dogs to remain locked upstairs in the heated room. Also noticed drywall splatter all over my hallway walls. It was then we were notified that the 3 week job was going to take even longer! I was extremely angry because the communication was also so bad. I was told the painter was coming but we'd never even selected paint! Sarah chose a color based on my recommendation. When the painter had left, it was for the first time I actually saw any blueprints. I noticed the counters were squared. Knowing my health issues and fall risk, I do not have any squared or sharp edges in my home. We contacted Lenton to bring this up, assuming they'd be a curved edge. Sarah's reply was, "That's what you chose." I did not know that square sample piece was what the counters would look like. The owner, Rob Lenton stepped in and met with my husband. They hadn't prepared the countertop yet, so he said it could be rounded. By the middle of week 3, no countertops in, we were notified by group chat that the backsplash we selected would not be ready for 2 more months! So she sent screenshots of options. We hated ALL of them. So they dropped more samples by. First, we had no countertops to compare them with, only a piece of wood on top of the counters, and the night grey paint on the walls. So we were choosing blind as to backsplash. Again, hated all of them! So we selected one we hated least. Now, the counters were installed and after my first time seeing them, HATED them. There was zero grey in the pattern. It was all cream, beige and brown. Doesn't match appliances or cabinets. And now the backsplash (picked out to go with grey) was installed (on Memorial Day) and doesn't match the counter tops! This entire demo remodel has been a nightmare! No one at Lenton takes any responsibility, and Sarah and Lizsela BOTH utter the same crap, "it's what you selected". I'm beyond furious. Mr. Lenton only commented after finding out the countertops were wrong and the extended delay, and said, "we hope you'll like the look when it's completed." Well, I don't! It looks ridiculous and we spent every dime to do this, which infuriates me more. Now, it it ever gets completed, and I have water and appliances in my kitchen, at my expense, I will need to hire another company, putting me in debt, to fix this insanity! The only positive thing I can say is, the workers have been wonderful, polite and very nice. But that's not worth the inconvenience and money we've paid to get this project done. It's now going into week 4 and my appliances and plumbing still not done. Don't be fooled by empty promises and bait and switch! I'm starting to think they use discontinued or old stock in the renovations as the selection have been poor, and your stuck with what they give you, whether it looks good or not. Our mistake was not seeing the actual blue prints prior to construction. All we saw was an AI photo Sarah showed us at consultation. Be very careful if you trust them. It's going to cost us a lot for our poor choice. read more

We have lived in our house for 31 years and finally reached a position in life that enabled us to make badly needed improvements. Our kitchen did not have sufficient counter space or cabinets thus we were storing food and cooking appliances in the laundry room, the garage and upstairs. Our ideal kitchen would require pushing out walls in two directions to accommodate proper counter space and cabinetry along with a large seating island paired with a second prep island. In 2020, we used the Lenton Company to renovate two of our bathrooms, our kitchen, and a few other small spaces. Two years later, the upgrades have held up well and we are very satisfied with the end result. They worked with our budget and style to help us to save where we could. We ended up keeping the existing cabinet bases and replaced the doors and paint for a more modern look. Their software was invaluable in visualizing the space and how our chosen pieces would look. 1 Star for this company is 3 more than they deserve. I had this company come out and give a quote. I expected a ballpark figure to even consider proceeding with any work. When asked, I Very UNWISELY, revealed a $300,000K budget. Guess what, several months later my quote was at my Very High and Unwisely revealed $300,000K budget. This all after recanting a much lower budget, reducing my design expectations, paying $7,000 for measurements, receiving an almost unusable design, and months of tracking down an actual QUOTE. In addition, the quote I was given seemed to be pulled from thin air with no verification of cost breakdown. I had other professional's follow-up with this company on my behalf and advised me this company was not in my best interest. Do your homework with these thieves. read more

Hands down the best remodeling experience we've ever had. We've been through 5 major remodels and restorations over the years in various homes and I only wish we could have had Lenton Company do all of them. We asked Lenton to remodel two bathrooms and a kitchen. The A-Z experience felt as buttoned up as it could be and that took much of the anxiety out of a large project and financial investment. Lenton had designers come out to the house and go over all the options for our job, they brought samples of just about everything you could ask for. Their proposal and statement of work is meticulously crafted, so many contractors will give you a page or two of scribal and then come back later with "it's not in the statement of work, that's a change order..." You know exactly what you are paying for with Lenton down to the line item and if something will be a change order or not. Their entire crew did a walk through before they started demo to make sure plumbing, electrical, management, etc. were all on the same page and that the number of surprises would be limited. The only contractor I've seen handle the job this way. You are paying a premium with Lenton but you are getting guild quality labor and from our experience the most coordinated group of remodeling professionals we've come across. I'd happily pay that premium to avoid the nightmares we've had elsewhere. read more

Rob Lenton did a full get job on our Master Bath and it is sensational! Heather was so helpful with design and materials. The office staff is terrific. Polite, professional and kind. I can't say enough nice things about Devin the project manager. He really made this huge job seem simple and effortless on our part. They really went out of their way to make sure our dogs did not get out of the yard. No easy feat. I have done a few room additions and remodels in the part. We had Ron and crew, from Lenton Company, come out and remodel our downstairs bathroom. We needed a wheelchair accessible shower for my mother in law, who was coming to live with us. They were fantastic! They worked with us on timing, since we work nights, and they were going to be using a jackhammer, right under our bedroom, to make a proper drain for the roll in shower. Lenton Company was recommended to me by a friend for a kitchen makeover and some updates to my two bathrooms. This company is, by far, the best in customer relations!! From the first walk through to design, to product choices, and project completion I was treated with professionalism and as a valued customer. Customer care does not stop when the last payment has been made. Carrie has called each week during construction and almost every week after completion to find out how things were going, and if I had any concerns and if everything was still working. I was always made aware of costs and when payments were required so that I didn't have to ask. The project manager, Justin Torrey, was always available for questions and was quick to fix anything that might become a problem. Most of the problems that arose were noticed by Lenton company employees before I saw them and were being taken care of before I could bring them up.
