We had a leak in our ceiling that's been giving us trouble for awhile and we've been having trouble trying to get a roofing company to come out and take a look at it. Justo answered and came out assess the damage right away. He came back to us with what we felt was a very fair quote the same day, and he completed the repair the next day. I needed to replace our nasty carpet laundry room flooring that the previous homeowner left me with. I couldn't even stand opening the laundry room door because of the stinky and dirty carpet. This review is way over due. back in 2019 we hired Justo to expand one of our rooms and turn it in to a studio apartment. There's several pictures here that show part of that process. This was a really big project that was going to cost thousands of dollars. It's very difficult to hire and trust someone without ever working with them in the past. Hiring Justo was truly a blessing for me and my family. He told us the job was going to take a month to complete and the results ware spectacular. Again, he built an entire studio apartment with a kitchen, plumbing, lighting/electrical, windows, roof, door and walls. For a whole month my husband and I were going through hell with a "handyman" we hired to do recessed lighting & installing ceiling fans throughout our home, he screwed up with the electrical wiring, made many unnecessary holes throughout, and never showed up when he said he would or would work 2-3 hours and be gone.. until we decided it was enough & we had to find someone else who was professional, reliable & affordable. Following some water damage, we had to repair a hole in the drywall of our living room's ceiling. Diamond construction did it quickly and very well. Beware! I spoke with a man from Diamond (General Construction) three times on the phone (landline) regarding a free estimate on my roof. The second call he asked me to text him my address. I have a pay-as-you-go Trac phone for emergencies only, but texted him my address. He came out to look at my roof and asked for $75. I told him I don't pay for free estimates and no one had ever asked for money for an estimate. He said he texted me that he was going to charge me $75. Since my cell is for emergencies only, I don't check it, so, obviously I did not agree to a charge for a free estimate. Beware that he might do this to you! read more
