Not only did they break my molding but they clipped my door alarm wire and threw it away. Instead of using brown putty because my door is brown and it's only common sense to use the same color of the door so it will look cohesive but instead I got a very tacky white putty all throughout the door moldings. They wanted to leave so badly that they couldn't even wipe down my new door and left it with fingerprints all over. To top it all off, they put the peephole for someone who is at least 6'5. The measurement where it is at is not even standard. Terrible installation, I would never recommend them as they are clearly acting like they have never done an installation before when they have. 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS on a door that I waited 3 months for, all for it to be a big giant waste of time. Save yourself and go in the opposite direction of them if Lowe's sends them your way for installation services and ask for a different installer. I honestly wish I could give zero stars.

Where's the extra credit stars option?! Don't hesitate, hire this crew!…read more Ochoa Windows & Doors went above and beyond for us. We had two interior doors that needed replacement thanks to rambunctious dogs, a home repair project which we had been putting off until we were notified that an appraiser was coming to our house within a couple days. We suddenly needed this project done NOW. Of course my first stop was Yelp to do research on door installers. I also went to Lowes to check out their door inventory and do price comparisons, considering for about three seconds doing the door replacement ourselves. I reached out to a few door installers and was getting nowhere as they couldn't come out for weeks at the minimum. Ochoa not only answered my inquiry message right away, they were also on the ball and accommodating with everything! Thursday I contacted Ochoa and explained my predicament (Felix was great to talk with), first thing Friday morning a measuring team (Noel and I think Christian) was at my house, Saturday afternoon the two doors were installed by Felix, Noel, and their assistant. No stress about the doors during my Sunday morning the appraisal! They were communicative, professional, courteous, respectful, and overall the most put-together contractor team I have dealt with. The work was quick, reasonably priced (Letty in their office was also a pleasure to work with), and they left no trace aside from two beautiful doors. I've already got the process started with them to have my slider door replaced with French doors and I very much look forward to working with Team Ochoa again!

Liz (I hope I remembered her name correctly), was very helpful. She took the measurements over the phone and gave us a reasonable quote. The piece was ready the following day and fit perfectly. We purchased all new Milgard windows from SCV Glassworks in 2009. They have a lifetime warranty,…read moreand two of the windows are crystallizing on the inside, creating a foggy appearance. I called SCV Glassworks and first spoke to Eric and then to Andrew. The first response from Andrew was that they would replace the windows only if we purchased them "within the last year or so." I reminded him of the "Lifetime Warranty," and then Andrew said we had to file our request with Milgard. I pointed out that we purchased the windows from SCV Glassworks, and they hold themselves out as a "Milgard Certified Dealer." Andrew then changed his story and said he'd file a warranty request to Milgard to have the windows replaced. Andrew requested that I photograph the window frame and send it to him since it contained all the warranty information he needed. I forwarded the photographic information, and he confirmed receiving all the information he needed. He said he would put in a warranty request for me. After three weeks, I heard nothing, so I sent a text to Andrew asking for an update on my warranty request. He responded that he'll check with the manufacturer, Milgard, to determine the status of my warranty repair. He'd let me know as soon as he hears from Milgard. Two weeks went by, and not a word from SCV Glassworks, so today I decided to call Milgard myself. I reached Milgard's warranty department, and they advised that they had no warranty request from SCV Glassworks. Alexander, in Milgard's Customer Service Department, advised that it was best for me to just file my own warrant request through his department. Alexander asked that I forward the photographic information of the two windows to be replaced. I sent the information to Alexander, and in less than an hour, he confirmed receipt of my information, confirmed the warranty, and scheduled the window replacement. The Bottom Line: Milgard windows are great, and their service department is the best I've ever experienced. Kudos to Andrew in Milgard's Customer Service Department in Simi Valley. SCV Glassworks: First, a denial of a warranty, then a claim that they filed a warranty request when they had not, and no follow-up whatsoever. Their "service" was the worst.

When two of our…read morewindows went cloudy, I had a difficult time finding a glass company that would service our area (Cal City). While doing shopping down in Lancaster I chanced to run across their store. Best thing that's happened in a long time! The Kingsley people are very friendly and most helpful. They immediately sent a tech way out to Cal City to measure for replacement glass. In short order they had new glass installed and for a very reasonable price. While they were here installing the new glass I asked if they could order a pair of sliding screen doors for our large sliding glass doors to the patio. The builder of our house apparently never thought to get them originally. In an effort to get the correct screen doors for our glass doors, Kingsley contacted the manufacturer of the glass doors for our house. The manufacturer was very slow delivering a set of screen doors. When they arrived, they were the wrong size. Kingsley stayed after the manufacturer and weeks later a second set was sent. This set was the right size but did not include any locking mechanism. Kingsley went after the manufacturer again and weeks later a third set was sent. Finally, the screen doors were right. Through months of effort, Kingsley Glass and their tech Mike made sure they gave us the product we were expecting in spite of problems not of their making. We are so grateful to Kingsley Glass and Mike. They are the best!
