I got 3-1/2 inch shutters for my entire home. The shutters are custom made by this family owned-business. Because they're custom made the wait time is about eight weeks. It is well worth the wait. Plus, that gives you time to save for the balance of your order. (A deposit is half of the total bill and the other half is due upon installation.) During the holiday season, several people complemented the workmanship of the shutters and were impressed that the shutters are actually mounted on a frame around the windows instead of just being mounted on the inside window sills. The frame match my crown molding and 4-inch baseboards nicely. The shutters have elevated my renovation even further and the value of my home. This was money well spent! read more

The service is good. Open communication. Takes a long time to get shutters, but that's expected in a custom business. The reason they only receive 3 stars is because the shutters are for aesthetics only. They virtually keep out very little light. We have had to hang other window coverings between the shutters and the glass to block the light in the bedrooms. The shutters do improve the overall look of the house. One major complaint is that the men who install them do not caulk the frame of the shutter when they hang them. So light also spills in between the frame and the wall. It would have taken very little time for them to caulk. Other than that, we did get a quote from 3 Day Blinds, and Angel blew them away. read more
