We first worked with Rick 6+ years ago when we moved into our home. He installed shutters in our bedrooms and office, and they've held up beautifully. I remembered how professional and on top of everything he was, so I reached out again when we needed blinds for our bedroom. Jeremy and Parker came out for measurements and made the whole process incredibly easy. They walked us through options, gave thoughtful suggestions, and provided an estimate. All in about 10-15 minutes. About two weeks later, they returned for installation and were done in under 5 minutes. Everything was seamless. The best part is how it turned out. It's exactly what we envisioned, if not better. We now have automated blinds in our bay window that give us privacy while still letting in light, and they look so clean in person. They even upgraded us to a system without a visible battery pack, which made a big difference aesthetically. Truly some of the best in the industry. Friendly, efficient, and trustworthy. The line strings (raises & lowers the blind & is inside the blind) in my 8' wide cellular blind broke & could not be replaced and, thus, Rick installed retractors which is what current blinds are using. He was extremely knowledgable and went over all the pro's and con's of the various options available and helped me choose the right one. Another great find, thanks to my fellow Yelpers! I scheduled an estimate with Rick and he was friendly, thorough, and clearly knew what he was doing. He had shutter samples and roller shade samples and walked me through the options. Rick printed out his estimate right then and there on his wireless printer and left with ZERO pressure...he said he would love to work with me but that he's not the type to hound me for business. He would wait for me to reach out. I full transparency, I had narrowed our search down to Rick and another reputable business, but Rick's warmth, and the fact that he is a veteran, really won me over. He set realistic expectations on ETA (the supply chain is so backed up) and delivered as promised. We ordered two rolling shades (which we love! They are so easy and let in light, but also give us privacy at night) and a bunch of poly shutters. The rolling shades took way less time to manufacture than the shutters (which Rick explained early on). Once Rick was in possession of the shutters, we scheduled an installation for two days later! Well, today was that day and Rick and his kids all arrived and set to work. They were all professional, friendly, tidy, and efficient. Rick checked each shutter himself and also demonstrated their durability and effectiveness against light. About an hour after they arrived, they were done! I'm sooooo happy with our new shutters and blinds and am looking forward to having Rick back to handle a few more windows for us! TL;DR: great family business with decades of experience.
