By the naked eye, the blinds look exactly the same as when they were delivered to her. We wanted the dark stains removed from the blinds. She told our friend that the staining was from dirt that had penetrated the fabric and that it would not come out. The example we were given was like "painter's pants" which even though they get laundered always have paint in them afterwards no matter how many times you wash them. They are "clean" but the stains will NEVER come out. Our dissatisfaction with Unique enterprises is that they lied about never seeing the blinds first, knew the stains would NEVER come out but they took them to clean anyway and charged us for it. So now we have soiled blinds that we cannot use in our remodeled kitchen. What they should have done was refused to take the blinds in the first place. The right thing for this business to do is to refund our $105 but I doubt that will happen... So the owner just wrote me two messages (see below) about how our friend brought the blinds to her and they didn't pick them up so therefore I'm writing false statements and could be sued for it (I think this says everything we need to know about the owner and her attitude). She's also claiming she never saw the blinds and that businesses are allowed to charge for their services (really, I didn't know this). If these messages don't convince you to steer clear of this business, good luck. False statements are i crime! and you can be sued for that!" Paid in advance for poor workmanship. We never received a detailed invoice for our records. The company took one or two of our phone calls, but were rude. Then they didn't answer the phone anymore and we left messages for them to call us back, which they never did. Had to have them come back and fix one roll-down shade that was not installed correctly, and it took 2 months or more to get everything done. Very inconvenient for us. Would stay CLEAR away from this "company". It's not even as good as a "mom and pop" business. Save your time and money. Go to ANYONE except Unique Enterprises. read more

We recently called Norma at Unique again because we had such a great experience with her and her recommendations for new blinds in our home earlier this year. She originally came out and gave us her opinion that some of them did not need to be replaced but that they could be repaired. We took her suggestions, and purchased new as needed as well. Installation and quick service were great! We needed some blinds in our family room to block the summer sun very recently It was very difficult to see our television due to the sun. She again made great suggestions, and we now have beautiful new shades that look great whether they are up or down. Richard, Norma's installer, was superb. He hung them beautifully but also was so neat and cleaned up everything. Unique Enterprises has all kinds of blinds and we will definitely use them again when the need arises!. If I could give this place a negative 10 I would. I was moving out of town and needed to have one of the blinds repaired. Norma picked the blind up and told me she would have it back in about a week. A week and a half later I called and told her that we would be moving and I needed back and she said it would be ready that Friday. I then get a call from her staying the truck didn't come in and it wasn't ready. I told them I was MOVING! She had also quoted me 90-100 dollars to repair. She never told me she had to order the material to repair the blind and after all was said and done it wasn't ready until another week later. This is the best part...she wanted to charge me more than she quoted and would not even discount it a penny because it was so late. Now she is holding the blind hostage and it doesn't even belong to me, it belongs to my landlord. If I were you I would pick one of the more reputable blind repair places, stay clear of this one!!!!!!! read more
