Creative window coverings is one of only 3 listed Norman brand contractors in orange County, from the Norman brand website. And I wanted Norman brand specifically with the invisible tilt to match the shutters that were already there. I got quotes from all 3 people (window design group, budget blinds, and creative window coverings). I'll just say the other 2 companies were way more expensive. My cousin used to work in the window/shutter industry and he said creative window coverings price was fair, and the other companies essentially ripping me off profit wise. Creative window coverings sent Rai out to my home. He was very straightforward, honest, and gave me a lot of options and things to think about. Very knowledgeable. The other companies, one guy was in and out and didn't explain anything to me (tilt options, waterproof options for bathroom, how many panels I could choose, etc) and the other felt way too much of a sales pitch. I liked Rai the most. I went forward. Paid half the deposit. Paid the other half after the job was done. Installation was trouble free, easy, and no headaches. My house is a mess right now and they were able to still do their thing no problem. Had a great experience. Knowledgeable, friendly, very competitive and fair pricing, and I felt trustworthy that I wasn't getting ripped off and taken advantage of. Love my shutters. They look great and definitely make my home feel valuable and nicer overall. Would 1000% recommend.

I reached out to Richard, and although he initially intended to charge for the repair, he kindly waived the fee since it was our first service call. He fixed the issue and even left me a few extra clips so I can easily snap it back into place myself if it ever happens again. They already had great reviews, and Jenny responded so quickly. I made an appointment for an estimate, and I honestly felt a little bad asking them to come out for only one blind. However, they were very happy to help with a small project and worked around my schedule. They found a very similar product that matched my existing blinds and even customized the handles and edges so everything would look like one complete set from the beginning. I was so impressed with their attention to detail. I only waited about a week before they contacted me that the blind was ready for installation. The installation was quick, but at first, it was slightly different from what I expected. I was worried because this was the same issue that caused the previous installer to leave the job unfinished. But they were not concerned at all. They calmlyfound a solution, removed the blind with a positive attitude, adjusted the fabric, and came back within a few hours to reinstall it. My wife and I just purchased our condo. First we had to replace our current windows. We're closer to the main road and a lot of traffic noise was distracting for us. We both work from our home office. Not even thinking about it after going into the construction phase, we realized we had to put some sort of shade. We spent a lot of money on our windows and had a budget but two of the local blinds company quoted us an insane amount for roller shades. Thank god for Yelp. We searched and found Esco shade. My wife reached out and they set up a free in home measurement appointment. We were happy with the quality and selection. Not to mention the price. Obviously blinds aren't cheap but compared to the other two local companies these guys beat them by 1500 ish. Order process was short only took 2 weeks or so. Install was flawless and very fast. I don't mind paying extra if it's worth it. I reached out for a quote through yelp and received a response within the hour and scheduled an in person estimate for the same weekend. I actually had wanted standard blinds, but Hans was able to describe the benefits of motorized blinds. I was skeptical of the cost at first since I didn't know much about them, so I decided to do some research on Google. Suffice to say that the quote was already lower than anyone else I could find and I scheduled them to be installed the following weekend. The guy who installed them was efficient and super clean. It took about 5 hours for him to mount all of the roller shades we got, and everything looks perfect! I got quotes from a couple other companies, and while Sunburst was about the same price as the other places, I ultimately chose them because I liked Kimball better than the other people I met with. His personality and communication with me is what sealed the deal.

It's amazing how hard he tries to twist my review and avoids any accountability for his actions! I will now spread the word even more in the hopes that true, honest small businesses get awareness over people like this. 1. Matt has now lied that I threatened him with a negative review. I have posted the pictures here to show that he asked for a review and that I was preparing a good one for him despite all the ridiculous problems he gave me. But I was waiting until the damage he caused was fully dried after repainting to be sure. So when I discovered that it was the wrong paint and there was a failure to help me connect to the motor, that made me change course and write this review instead. 2. "Minor paint scratches?" Did Matt really try to lie about that too? There were indentations that I have pictures of and we can uncover to see the fill-ins. So let's see if he continues lying about that one. 3. The strictness of my building management has nothing to do with the problems I listed below. It caught us all by surprise that we needed approval for a simple installation. So we rescheduled for a week later once my building approved it. 4. I acknowledged in the original review that he gave me a good price. But that was greatly overshadowed by the long list of problems his company caused me. Original Review: Here's the list of things that went wrong during my installation that took three separate visits. The only reason there's one star is because the shades were offered at a good price. - Scratched and dented my wall in multiple places (neglected to bring a second guy for my high window and struggled with one person) - Incorrectly measured my window and brought in shades that were too big. - After bringing two guys the second time, one of the installers incorrectly installed the fascia. - One of the installers suggested a laser measurement in another visit to show that the shades weren't crooked but that my wall was, then denied he ever suggested that for me. - The third visit, they filled in my dents and scratches but the paint was completely different a week later after drying. - They tried setting up my app connection to the shade motor, nothing worked, then suggested that my WiFi was incorrectly set up. Then my internet company and I confirmed that the WiFi was set up perfectly for the app connection. So that was wrong too. I don't know what else to say. I guess if you don't want the hassle of three separate visits, many hours to install a shade, damage to your home, and more problems, please look elsewhere.

She told our friend that the staining was from dirt that had penetrated the fabric and that it would not come out. The example we were given was like "painter's pants" which even though they get laundered always have paint in them afterwards no matter how many times you wash them. They are "clean" but the stains will NEVER come out. Our dissatisfaction with Unique enterprises is that they lied about never seeing the blinds first, knew the stains would NEVER come out but they took them to clean anyway and charged us for it. So now we have soiled blinds that we cannot use in our remodeled kitchen. What they should have done was refused to take the blinds in the first place. The right thing for this business to do is to refund our $105 but I doubt that will happen... So the owner just wrote me two messages (see below) about how our friend brought the blinds to her and they didn't pick them up so therefore I'm writing false statements and could be sued for it (I think this says everything we need to know about the owner and her attitude). She's also claiming she never saw the blinds and that businesses are allowed to charge for their services (really, I didn't know this). If these messages don't convince you to steer clear of this business, good luck. From Gloria the owner: "also you are submitting false info, i never picked up blinds !!!, and knew they were not going to remove stains I never even saw them, you sent them with your freind Mike and he just said to clean them . thats what was done. False statements are i crime! and you can be sued for that!" My installation person was Brandon and he was very friendly and professional. He worked very quickly and addressed my concerns. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone to needs blinds.
