Almost to the point I was concerned about the quality of work and materials. I ended up choosing Esko Shade due to their prompt communications and value. They scheduled an in home consultation later that week where we finalized materials and costs. Any concerns with quality and level of service were instantly resolved as they offered multiple options and provided suggestions for the type of install. They honored the initial estimate and gave me a deal on an additional shade I was looking at for another room. Install was scheduled exactly one week later. Installers came promptly at the scheduled time and were very professional. They took off their shoes for our household which we very much appreciated. Short review: 20 out of 10 stars. I would go with Esko again in a heartbeat. Hans, the owner, helped me out a lot and seems like a really decent, good guy. Mike, the technician who came to install the shades, was super fast, and the shades came out looking lovely and clean. Long review: I feel like what I got from Esko is too good to be true, and I feel so thankful that Esko happened to be one of the businesses I contacted for an estimate. I wanted roller shades and got estimates from many businesses I found on Yelp. I'm on a tight budget and wanted the best deal. Hans came to my home to take measurements and asked me questions about what exactly I want that other companies didn't ask. I think he cares about details and wants to get the customer what the customer wants. When he got back to me with a quote, it was the lowest quote I got. But it was still more than I anticipated. I didn't know roller shades are so expensive. I thought I had to give up on roller shades and find a more budget friendly option and told Hans that his was the lowest quote I got but still more than I was looking to pay. He was SO kind and worked with my budget and made it possible for me to get roller shades as I originally wanted. Really cool, decent dude!!! Other companies I got quotes from said installation would be possible in 2-3 weeks. Hans said Esko could install within a few days, and they actually did. Crazy. On installation day, Mike came to my home a few minutes early and was super fast. He finished all the windows in a little more than an hour, and they came out looking really clean. Sean and team @ Esko installed shades for all the windows on our first floor - their pricing was easily the most competitive and everything from the measuring, quoting to final installation took only a couple days. Extremely fast and efficient turnaround - the shades were made to measure and Sean's expertise made the shades look like they were made to fit by the homebuilder! Attention to detail was what impressed me the most during installation, he made sure most chains were tucked and drilled into the frame whereas in areas where the chains could get in the way of entry/exit he left loose. The reason I am writing this review is because this company really stands behind their workmanship and service - we had a small issue since well after the installation and Sean had a team member come out, fix the issue and had our shades back up and running in 24 hours - no questions asked. I think it was about half of what I got quoted from Homedepot and Costco. What I really liked was how fast they installed at my house, and they use Centimeters to reduce the gap.
