When they are ready to leave and had selected our Blinds, they went over everything again and gave us a date for delivery. The date was prompt, the blinds came in and installed. The Installer, Gerard was in constant communication regarding the date to install the blinds. Texted us like he said 15 minutes before he arrived. He was very neat, installed every blind in the house and went over the instructions on how to use our blinds. I have never been more satisfied with a company as I was with Budget Blinds of Whittier and our installation. We had to accommodate a unique roofline and Eric helped figure it out, though it seems that the materials are best suited for a straight-forward, plug-and-play installation with minimal customization. The pricing was competitive. We opted to have six can lights, a ceiling fan (the fan was provided by us and they installed it), and two outlets installed. After signing the contract, the installation occurred roughly 4-6 weeks out due to their full installation schedule, so plan accordingly and book as soon as you feel comfortable if you know you want to go with them. The installation team (five workers total, led by Jesus) was quick, efficient, and respectful. They installed the cover in one day and left the area clean prior to departing. Here are a couple of minor "issues" we encountered... one post is not completely square/perpendicular to the nearby patio edge, so this is a bit more obvious to see, but not terrible. The covered outlets they installed were standard indoor style. I chose to replace them with GFCI outlets (cost me $40 total at Home Depot) since they are outdoors and one has a fountain plugged into it. I would recommend Paradise Patio Covers to friends and neighbors and would definitely use them again.

My husband and I decided to remodel our entire home (yeah, I know...gluttons for punishment). The house is a beautiful Mediterranean bungalow built in the 20's and we really wanted shutters that reflected the style of the place and our decor choices. Although we live in North Hollywood, Shutters Allure cheerfully agreed to come out to our neck of the woods, measured each room and helped us with our fabric and wood choices. They were on time and very helpful and patient with our process. On the 2nd visit, Shutters Allure, again...Hollywood...on time, amazing! They installed shutters in three rooms within 1 1/2 hours and they fit perfectly, were exactly what we wanted and looked and continue to look beautiful, 3 years later. By the way, unlike some of the other crappy plastic venetian blinds I've purchased in the past, these blinds are easy to open and close and to keep clean! I called Eric for a free in home consultation. What I really liked about him was that he really educated me so I could make an informed decision. He was not trying to sell me. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and out going personality. When the shutters, blinds and cellular shades arrived, he installed them perfectly and cleaned up after he was done. We were looking for shutters and saw that Shutters Allure had great reviews. Eric came to our house and brought several samples to choose from. He also provided us with ideas and suggestions to make the shutters look their best. While it wasn't the cheapest estimate, we decided to go with Shutters Allure due to the quality and warranty of the shutters. The big selling point was Eric offered the shutters with a hidden tilt mechanism which provides a clean look. Eric kept us updated on the arrival time and the install was quick and clean. The guy who installed them was efficient and super clean. It took about 5 hours for him to mount all of the roller shades we got, and everything looks perfect! I got quotes from a couple other companies, and while Sunburst was about the same price as the other places, I ultimately chose them because I liked Kimball better than the other people I met with. His personality and communication with me is what sealed the deal.

Creative window coverings is one of only 3 listed Norman brand contractors in orange County, from the Norman brand website. And I wanted Norman brand specifically with the invisible tilt to match the shutters that were already there. I got quotes from all 3 people (window design group, budget blinds, and creative window coverings). I'll just say the other 2 companies were way more expensive. My cousin used to work in the window/shutter industry and he said creative window coverings price was fair, and the other companies essentially ripping me off profit wise. Creative window coverings sent Rai out to my home. He was very straightforward, honest, and gave me a lot of options and things to think about. Very knowledgeable. The other companies, one guy was in and out and didn't explain anything to me (tilt options, waterproof options for bathroom, how many panels I could choose, etc) and the other felt way too much of a sales pitch. I liked Rai the most. I went forward. Paid half the deposit. Paid the other half after the job was done. Installation was trouble free, easy, and no headaches. My house is a mess right now and they were able to still do their thing no problem. Had a great experience. Knowledgeable, friendly, very competitive and fair pricing, and I felt trustworthy that I wasn't getting ripped off and taken advantage of. Love my shutters. They look great and definitely make my home feel valuable and nicer overall. Would 1000% recommend.
