I recently had the pleasure of working with Blinds & More to put shudders in my entire house. Shannon was great! I have an ackward window in the kitchen due to my back splash. At first, Shannon wasn't sure he could put a shudder in that window but he decided to figure it out. He didn't give up, just because it was difficult. The installation was great and the kitchen window looks fantastic! I have a very, very large set of 2 windows in my living room that look out over the front yard and patio. I wanted to split the shudders so I could open the top but still have privacy. I misunderstood a discussion about where to split the shudders and when they came in, I didn't like how they had been split. The misunderstanding was totally my fault but Shannon made it right! He reordered the shudders for the living room, came out and replaced them and didn't charge me a cent! I even told him that I would understand if I needed to pay for them as it was my fault!! After bidding our shutter job, for our condo windows, out to 6 different companies we decided to go with Blinds & More. Shannon (the owner/part owner) was extremely pleasant when he came and visited us on mid week evening around 6pm at our home to accommodate our work schedules. He was very pleasant and extremely knowledge and frankly out of the 6 different people I met regarding the shutters my personal favorite. Their price was very competitive, not the highest nor the lowest bid, so we decided to go with Blinds & More based on our interaction with Shannon. Once we placed our order we knew the order time was 5-6 weeks and I must say I was a little disappointed after the 6th full complete week we had not even received a call to simply provide an update or a projected ETA. I ended up emailing them on the Saturday after the 6th full week and on the following Monday I received an email stating they expected them later in the week. They were installed four days later on Friday morning. The installers name was Jared who was awesome. He is a contractor but very pleasant, knowledgeable and did great work. He also assisted me in moving our huge king sleigh bed in our master bedroom so the window could be accessed. It was too large for me to move on my own. The only complaint I have is on our downstairs Living Room shutter. The window frame is not straight and even in dimensions from when the condo was originally built so there was a 1/2 inch gap on the bottom of the shutter in the frame. The shutter was caulked but the caulk kind of oozed and dried up out the bottom back of the shutter and can been seen from the outside a little near the front door. I wish it was just a little cleaned up or maybe done with a shim to fill the gap and then caulked over. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely do business with Blinds & More in the future. Had I received a status call somewhere along the way during the 6 week wait time and the caulking job on the shutter done a little cleaner they would have definitely received a 5 star review. read more

After meeting with several window covering companies, it was an easy choice to work with Shannon from Blinds & More. He was knowledgable, kind, had great products and ideas, and a fair price. Overall, we ended up buying window coverings for 5 rooms and we're happy with every single shade. Our dining room presented a bit of challenge as the ceiling is two stories high and the windows are very big. We opted for automated shades for that room only; they work perfectly. 1 year later...I broke one of the chains on a regular shade, and we decided to reconfigure the remote for the automated shades. Shannon *very* generously came over with a new chain for the traditional shade, and spent about an hour resetting the remote for the dining room windows. This involved several trips up and down a very tall ladder. His work was characteristically flawless...and he didn't charge me for his time, or for the new chain! He's an incredibly nice guy who provides great products and even better service. Highly recommend! read more

After scheduling home visits with them, a couple didn't even bother to call back and the others said they just can't do it. Shannon was able to do it. He was on time for the initial visit. When he was coordinating the timing with the wholesaler, he called to give me a status. How refreshing. Shannon and Brian were finally scheduled to install the shade and we set a date and time. On the day of the install, Brian called to say traffic was bad and they would be 15 minutes late. Again, how refreshing! I recently had my kitchen remodeled and needed new window coverings. I was impressed with the owner arriving on time, and prepared with the samples that I requested. I was told the Duette shades would take 2-3 weeks, but they came in sooner.
