Andre made me feel completely comfortable with my decision to go with them. Price was very competitive and his crew showed up on time and replaced my whole roof before 3pm! They left my yard and home clean except for an oil stain on the street from their supplier's truck that Andre did try to get cleaned up, but the guys who came out didn't clean it, I had too. after the roof was completed I asked for a copy of the inspection report, but Andre said I don't get that, but he did send me proof that the inspection was completed via a screen shot of a text message from the inspector. We had to have our roof "prepped" for installation of Tesla solar panels, which required removing clay tiles and putting down shingles, then later replacing the tiles after the solar panels were in place. When I bought my house 8 years ago I was told "this roof won't be good for much longer" by the man doing the appraisal. So, I've saved and saved preparing for the purchase of a new roof for years. Today APR Roofing (they came highly recommended from a friend) came out to provide me with an estimate and to look at the roof. I was not only told that I did not need a roof, but that I could probably get another 8 years out of the current roof. Andre went up on the roof and did an extensive check of the current roof. After getting a few quotes, my fiancé and I decided to go with APR roofing since they were the most affordable. This was the first time I ever had my roof replaced and I must say it was not a pleasant experience at all. The workers left their trash/work truck on the side of my house without asking me if they could. I couldn't even get to the side of my house to take my trash cans out for trash day. When I called Andre with the issue he was not polite or understanding. He seemed irritated of all things. He gave me and attitude and I was honestly blown away at his unprofessionalism. His workers hung out in my front yard, eating lunch, listening to music and left their trash there for me to pick up. After the job was done, it was not cleaned up properly. My roof definitely looks better, but that wasn't a tough achievement. Dealing with Andre was not worth the very little I saved choosing him to do the job. read more

An honest roofer! Andy and his son Andre own the business. I was introduced to this company because they did the roof inspection when I installed solar at my house. I had a leak, and another company I had called told me I needed a new roof (as they had told my neighbor, so I got suspicious). Andre came out to see my roof and told me only a tune up was necessary. He also told me about a silicone coating that would extend the life of my current roof, for which I approved the work. They never did a follow up call to make an appt. I called for an estimate they called me and said they will call me the next day and come see my issue and they never called back to make that appointment they did not do a follow-up like they said they would. I felt like they left me hanging because they could have called and said I'm too busy I'm booked up, they called to say they would be able to come and they didn't. My issue was waiting for the follow-up call depending that you would follow through. read more

DON'T NEED TO CALL ANYONE ELSE, seriously, save yourself the trouble. I wasted my time with others so you don't have to. My 17 year old house's roof had a leak after a week long rain storm. Of the three bids I got, Andre was the only one who was HONEST. He explained clearly why I didn't need a $800 repair and that the other two bidders were just trying to roofie me (get it? Roofie me and then have their way with me, haha). For most of us, we really don't know what needs to be done, which gives experts a chance to gouge us. It happens at most places where there's information asymmetry. I'd give this business 10/5 if I could. read more

I called APR roofing to get an estimate for some loose concrete tiles on my roof. They came out within two days of my call for the estimate. Andre went up on the roof to check things out and said he found four loose tiles and fixed them while he was up there. When I asked how much I owed him he wouldn't take any money. Andre came out to the house as pigeons were nesting under some tiles . He fixed the issues and checked the rest of the roof. He saw some broken tiles and stated I might want to have those replaced and a tune up. The cost for him coming out to check and fix the tile ...a hand shake ! That's good business . Andre came out to give me an estimate on repairing a leaking roof. Due to a communications lapse I wasn't home at the time, but he went up onto the roof, saw some tiles out of place that were the likely culprits, and re-fitted them while he was up there, no charge.
