He responded quickly, and we discussed what we were looking for in re-purposing the rear 1/3 of our property. He described his vision and methods, and provided a very reasonable quote. We decided to move forward, and we left it up to him to provide and plant what was needed to create a perfect space that was both functional for entertainment and really pleasant to just relax and enjoy. Gio and his team did not disappoint. He met (and exceeded) our expectations, and stuck to the schedule and budget. And he didn't just create planter areas and new lawn, he also installed a paver walkway to match our existing patio stones. When he was finished with the original scope, he offered to maintain the rear yard to make sure our investment (and his hard work) would continue to look as good as the day he finished. He is not a typical "mow-blow-& go" gardening service. When he and his team arrive, they look around, see whatever needs care and attention, make everything right, and leave every inch of the yard neatly trimmed and clean. Quite possibly the best service we have EVER had in regards to tree trimming and tree removal in the past 14+ years. Contacted this company through Angies list (Angie.com) for the purposes of removing 2 trees behind our garage. Miguel replied to my query, came over within 2 days and we were able to agree on his quote for the 2 trees within ~15mins of conversation. A few days later his crew showed up on time at 8:00am, cut and removed both trees within 90mins and cleaned up after their work. This company and crew were timely, very considerate with their work, took it upon themselves to run a leaf blower and remove a sizable clump of leaves on the garage, and exited without issue. Wife and I were very impressed. Spoke to the lead person and asked for him to return for additional tree trimmings after the holidays. I can very highly recommend this company. read more

Commercial Tree Service, I would highly recommend! Miguel Ortiz was professional, came on time for estimate and provided ALL I contracted for. His estimate was about what everyone else quoted me, the difference was he did not charge me for every little thing I needed. I was going to have my gardener do some of the tree removal and cleanup to save money but Miquel said, we are here we can do that too and did not charge me extra!!! The men who showed up were professional and thoroughly cleaned everything! In the past I've always had some type of problem with tree service companies because the guy who quotes me is not on site, drops his workers off, no one speaks English and always in the past they are cutting or doing something wrong. Mr Alfaro and his crew are easy to work with and consistently impress me with their results. Initially I did all my yard work myself. After seeing my neighbor's yard transform, and after meeting him while he was working next door, I decided to try paying for landscaping for a change. To my surprise, he was very affordable and we have been having Green Grounds come twice a month, with impressive results. In just a month our yard has transformed from an overgrown mess, with rough spots even when I mowed, to a pristine manicured lawn. And its so economical I can't imagine going back. I feel a little guilty not getting my green thumb practice, but at least now I can focus on more important things and I'll admit they do a better job than I ever could on my own. read more

This was the first time I used this service. I was referred by a neighbor. I needed my tall palm tree behind my garage trimmed before it became a fire hazard. They showed up in a clean truck and I was met by the Lead guy Freddie. He was very professional and asked all the right questions. They quote fast - usually on the spot. Their prices are excellent: they were the lowest bidder on a big job which four other companies were competing for - by a factor of three! They even worked with me to get me scheduled in before a deadline I had to meet. They are fast and thorough. They clean up after themselves. I have a lot of 10 year old citrus trees on my Los Angeles office complex that I own. As a landlord I am responsible for keeping the property landscaped and for the removal of any trees which may have tree-rot or fungus. Well, the citrus trees needed to be trimmed badly, branches removed, bug assessment, and some removed that could have fallen on nearby cars. Rudy took care of the trees and removed the debris.
