Well, they were really nice and professional, but I didn't get what I expected. My request was to have better watering of my grass and landscaping, while reducing water waste on the sidewalk and street. They suggested I needed 2 sprinklers where there was 1, another needed in my small backyard, moving 2 for better positioning, and replacing quite a few nozzles. All of this seemed reasonable, although the hourly rate was quite high, and higher than I would normally agree to pay. The proposal stated this was the price for a "crew" with a maximum of 3 hours, and if done sooner, the price would be adjusted, so I agreed. Well, there was no crew. It was one guy who worked by himself, and was later joined by another the last hour and 20. I wouldn't call that a crew. My grass has dry spots where there weren't any, and my street is still being watered, although that was improved. So unfortunately, I cannot recommend them. read more

They did a great job the first time I used them. Not so the second. They missed an appointment to fix my sprinklers and then when I talked to the office and said she'd fix things, but no call. Also, I walked the property with them and was promised a quote for some landscaping work I needed, and after telling me he'd send a quote, I've hear nothing after about a month. I am going to write from my point of view as best I could. Today is September 11, end of the week of 2022. * Moved into a new home recently, sprinkler system has not worked for over a decade. Everyone's yard looks great, green and has automatic sprinklers. Ours.. didn't. Not sure if these sprinklers work? Me : We should get sprinklers! Maybe.. Yelp? How much are people charging and can we have someone come look at it? (10/24) Yelp blasts messages my inquiry to the area. That I am requesting an estimate and the price. I get seven hits, but choose Dr. Sprinkler to chat with to setup a date as they were the first, they also sounded really friendly. We did an estimate with a few others afterwards to decide. (10/27) Estimate date, Carlos was friendly enough and knowledgeable to go through the sprinklers and inform me that we had a sprinkler-system in place, but it needed to be repaired. We discussed what I wanted, which was a working system to reach the front yard, back yard as well as the parkway. He did some calculations in his head and was going to head back to report the assessment. It was a pretty cordial meeting. (10/28) I received an e-mail on the one-year warranty on controller and valves, payments and who was coming to complete the project. It should of been everything we were discussing yesterday with Carlos. We saw hours for labor, material parts among controllers. We asked to be put on hold for a bit bigger budget as we took a liking to Dr Sprinkler. (11/4) We decided to schedule an appointment and asked if Carlos was going to be the one heading the project, he was. We were pretty happy to have a familiar face after the first conversation. We decided we'll get this done sooner than later. (11/9) The day came, 8:02 am. They arrived at the door and began to unpack, access and start the work. Carlos and another technician were working on the front and back simultaneously and completed the project at 1:29 pm. (11/9 - 3:14 PM) Get sent an invoice. We returned home shortly after, we were excited and looked about the sprinkler heads but don't seem to notice a few areas with them and don't see any notes or messages on the result. We only got an invoice. Playing around, we notice that the park-way wasn't done, half the yard and a good area on the back. The sprinkler head wasn't functioning correctly for one of them and it.. gurgles. The pathways were messy with a number of streaks of dirt on the patio. Puzzled, we messaged and asked.. if they were going to come back, this wasn't completed right? Among the other things we talked of. incidentally, what the statement was earlier, even though we were discussing what we'd like. Was only for the repair for the system in place, but it wasn't the full coverage. Dismayed, I listened to the phone-call and understood. I should have read the fine print, I should have asked more to make sure, I should of inquired what the parts entail. It was on me. I paid the invoice, fully. I was informed the cost was going to be similar or even more than the first at a ball-park estimate for the full coverage. I called back, resigned to see if they're able to come out earlier to remedy the problem. But it would be close to a week out on Tuesday. We had other assignments on the weekend, so I hinted at looking around for better options via e-mail afterwards. She countered by offering me a discount for the misunderstanding and will have Carlos come by Friday tomorrow at 10-12PM for the repair and estimate for the full project. We agreed to at least hear the assessment for the rest. (11/11) 12:42 PM - Write back to them, informed me they forgot to send the e-mail and that Carlos would not make it and would have to originally place me back to Tuesday. Said sorry, that's about it. -- Called back a reliable business that quoted me earlier through the day, explained the situation and the yard that's left unfinished. Told me he'd take care of it the next day at a more affordable rate. I don't get it What I got first was the bill. For what I originally discussed and thought we were going to do, at least communicated with the same person who came out to do the job. That's what gets me. I get the bill at 3:14 PM. I waited a few hours afterwards for maybe.. a follow-up. I didn't get one. I had to ask if it was done. Afterwards, I Let Dr. Sprinkler know I'm good.. you do your thing, take your time. The fact I wasn't really relayed that the job is done, none of the coverage relayed to me during or after, wrote an e-mail back, sent a phone-call, a text.. nothing. You, person who might be interested. If you're one of the people that takes their business and it works out for you? Good for you, I am happy for you. Brett came to install Rachio so we could control our sprinkler system from our cell phones. Brett showed up on time, was completely professional, had a lot of patience with our finicky wifi. He even took the time to set up all 7 zones, by testing each zone, showing me how to label, what type of sprinkler and soil we have. He also showed me how the app fully works. My irrigation system just kind of quit and I was not sure why. I called and spoke to a real, kind human! Ally got me set up with an appointment in it two days, and was so communicative. Then, I met with Carlos this morning and he was able to identify quickly what the issue was. They got an estimate to me within the hour and he was actually able to come back the same day to repair. It was just a new valve, but I am really happy he got it working so fast. He let me know that he spilled a little primer while installing the valve and asked if it would be okay to come another day to touch up the paint on the side of the house.
