There's a reason Evergreen has 5 stars from all their reviews. We recently bought a house and on the day we closed, we found a puddle of water outside a bedroom window, with water at the house line. We tried to do some digging on our own and suspected it might be sprinkler valves buried underground. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We called Luis around 545pm on Thursday and he answered and said he would be by the next day around 6pm (a Friday!) to inspect the issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As promised, he arrived the next day and gave us an idea of what he thought the problem was (leaking pipes and broken sprinkler valves). His crew (Chemo and Luis) worked diligently for hours to dig out the pipes and the valves (they discovered a total of 5) and replaced pipes and valves and rewired everything. They also located the water shutoff which was buried under 1 foot of soil and mud. They did a meticulous job. We hadn't adjusted our sprinkler system in years, so most of the bubblers were broken and several valves were blocked so entire areas were dying. Luis was so helpful. He had an unexpected cancellation and came several days early with a big crew, and quickly figured out that previous irrigation guys had created a messy setup with too many valves and too much pressure in the back yard, so we authorized him to replace the whole piping setup and several blocked valves and he and his crew stayed till after dark to make sure everything was finished. Evergreen did a great job fixing and modernizing our 9-zone irrigation system for lawn, fruit trees, and flower beds. They updated and relocated multiple lawn sprinkler heads, replaced several values, installed pressure regulators, changed several zones from sprinklers to drip irrigation, and installed a new irrigation controller. Even with a large crew they weren't quite able to complete the work in a day, but they returned on a Saturday to finish the job. For such a large job the price was reasonable. The new system is working well and we will unhesitatingly hire them again if we need further fixes or updates! read more

This year we decided to remove our lawn and plant CA natives. We wanted to do most of the design and planting ourselves but knew we'd need some help along the way.
