An electrician installed a ceiling connection and wired it to a wall switch by the room entrance. I browsed the Lamps Plus website and went to the Pasadena location to see their products in person. So glad I did, I got a good look and selected the perfect ceiling fixture for my home. The sales personnel were very helpful and made recommendations, which made it easier to narrow my choices down to the final three. They have "fancy" chandeliers, LED lighting, wall scones, floor lamps, interior and exterior lighting options. I learned so much about the different styles such as a flush mount, a hanging swag light, and features such as a dimmer with different light tones from high to low. I chose a Mission Tiffany Pendant light (sounds like a necklace, lol). As I write this review, I am in the dining room with the light above me! All I have to do is flip the switch and the room glows. No place I called could give me a straight answer, but one of them recommended I reach out to Modern Lighting. They actually trialled my question on a lamp they had in house, so that I didn't have to drive to them until there was reasonable certainty they could do what I needed. They quoted me a price, and I went in the next day. Not only did they get the job done, it ended up costing less than their estimate.
